Teresa nodded nervously and fingered the fang in her pocket. It started to tingle, and when the knight brought out the tooth, it started to generate heat, and then a golden flash blinded her for a second. Teresa opened one eye feeling a warm wet feeling where snow had landed, and saw that raindrops struck the ground heavily fr several seconds, slowing to a slight drip until finnaly stopping. Teresa glanced around as the snow and ice on the ground started to melt away. "Aye, this could come in handy.." Teresa said as she fingered the fang again and grabbed a cord frm her pocket as well, tying it to the fang then tieing it around her neck.

((I had no idea how it would work...XD If there's something I should change in here, please let me know...))

Jade stared at Teresa for a moment or two, awestruck at what she'd just witnessed. Then her eyes got a faraway look in them.

"I wonder if Diseh and Charly are okay?" she thought aloud.

Diseh woke up in a next of an icey composition. The nesting was made of icey strands, and slush was every where. "Spence you alright?" Diseh paused, and looked at Spence. Diseh slapped Spence. "Dude, come on you got to get up Spence." He wanted to hit Spence whenever he could.

((Funny, if Spence was dead.))

"I'm up already, you jerk!" Spence got up and used cure to heal himself, "Man, I'm out of here!"
Spence jumped out of the nest like home of that ice bird, "I can't stand you sometimes, Diseh, why did you they even pick you to come here?"
Spence looked down the mountain and wished that he could find his weapon, "This will have to do for now," He picked up a large stick, "Are you coming?" Spence turned to Diseh.

"More or less Spence I think they picked me becuase I can keep you inline." Diseh laughed histerekly. "Let's go then." Diseh started to folloe Spence down the mountain side. "We are going down right?" Diseh lost his footing, and sliped. He slid past Spence, and was gaining speed down the mountain side.

"I hate you so much...huh..." The snow under Spence's feet gave way and he slid down the mountain along with Diseh.
"Diseh!" Spence yelled as the snow avalanched on them.

Diseh's head was sticking out of the ground, but the rest of his body was underneath snow. Diseh saw Spence, he was covered like Diseh with his head only out.
"So what do we do now genius?" Diseh started to lick the snow. "I'm still hungry."

Meanwhile, Jade and Teresa were having problems of their own.

"Teresa," Jade muttered, "Do you smell something burning?" the samauri turned to see a ball of flames bobbing along toward them. It wasn't flying at them like a projectile, just floating lazily in their direction. It got within five feet of them, when all of a sudden the outline of a face appeared in the fire, its mouth twisted in pain.
"HELP...ME..." It pleaded in a warbling voice that made Jade's blood run cold. "HIS LIGHT DIES IN THE WEST...." And with that, the face exploded into a wall of flames and a deafening roar, knocking Jade off her feet and sending her flying to the left where she smacked her head on a tree. She got to her feet, dazed, but otherwise unharmed. She looked for Teresa.
"Teresa? Teresa, are you alright?"

((O_O That just seriously freaked me out. XD ))

Teresa was thrown to the right, flying several feet before landing face first. She lay tere a second before shakily standing and muttering,
"Y-Yes...I'm f-fine..Jade? Are you okay? What was that thing?!"

"I..I think it was a Yurei, a vengeful spirit spawned when a person dies in a state of great mental distress or rage." Jade shivered a little at the thought.

"I hate Yurei. Once when I was about fifteen, I was out lying by a river and gazing up at the stars. I had been warned when I was a little girl not to stray too far near the water at night, for Yurei and the demon fish, Kappa, relish the souls of the living, especially young girls, but I had grown complacent and soon forgot what I had been told. I heard a soft splash in the river, so I foolishly drew close to the water and gazed in. The reflection that gazed back was not my own, but that of a young woman clad in white with flaming hair. As I watched, her face melted and became no more than a skull, and with a shrill wail she rose from the water and chased me all the way to the villiage I was living in at the time. A local holyman heard my cries and vanquished the spirit, but I've been wary of Yurei ever since."

Just then, a dense fog rolled in around the women, as if finalizing Jade's chilling tale. A faint warble of spectral noise floated on the air as a plethora of glowing orbs began to manifest out of the mist.

"We've got company.." Jade observed in a meek, faltering voice.

Teresa shivered as she heard Jade's tale, and stared at wht was behind Jade. Sparks flickered around the mist, and the piercing orbs were glowing eerily. She suddenly smelled something pugent and odd..like a stable full of tons of poorly kept horses. She stared off to the side, and a snake head and body lept at her. SHe shrank back, and was relieved to see it held back, by a...a..

Teres shreiked. A gorgon stood there, hissing. It's lower body was snake, and the upper woman with snaks fr hair.

"J-Jade..? I don't think that's the only thing here..."

"What in God's name is going on?" Jade demanded to no one in particular. Never before had she felt such a strange feeling of terror and rage, fear and abhorrance. There was only one thing left to do...

She drew Sakura, her shining blade, and held it defensivly before her, feeling the power of her own past victories seize her heart and fill it with bravery. The samauri grinned maliciously at the strange beast.

"I'm tired of running," she said with angry determination, "tired of existing in constant fear. You want me so bad? Then come and get me!" She ran at the Gorgon, sword held high. The beast lunged at her, but Jade kicked off the ground and flipped nimbly over the creature's head. She swung to face the Gorgon, raised her sword, and felt a cold hand on her shoulder. Instinctivly she whipped around and sidekicked the offender in the face. At least, that was where she was aiming. Her foot traveled through the figure like a rock through fog, whose face was obscured by a black cloak. The figure laughed coldly.

"Strike me not, Jasmine, for who are you to challenge your past?" Jade's heart caught in her throat.

"How do you know my real name?" she demanded, "Who ARE you?!" The figure removed the hood, revealing a face similar to Jade's but wiser, aged, and sinister.

"Come now," the woman replied, "do you not recognize your own mother?" Jade's face drained of color.

"M..Mother?" she choked. She dropped her sword and swayed on her feet. Then she whispered something insdistinct, and fainted on the spot, her mind shutting down at the sight of her once thought to be deceased parent.

((Sorry, I know that was long, but I thought that it would throw an interesting twist into the story.))

Teresa's eyes widdened and she backed up, clutching a now unsheathed Sieglinde nervously, but with a pulsing feeling of rage and shock.

It's a spirit, so it must be defeated by magic. I think. Teresa thought as she glanced from Jade's dead mother and the Gorgon nervously.

"Jade?" She said as she saw the samarai faint. I guess it's just me, now.. The knight thought as she lunged at the gorgon, avoiding it's eyes. She had heard the older tales of gorgons turning people into stone with eyecontact, and she knew she didn't want to be a statue. With a couple quick flicks of the wrist, the lower body of the gorgon was punctured in several places. A sickening midnight blue ubstance oozed frrom it's wounds, and teresa winced bfore piercing the thing's chest. Shr turned, and felt a wave of chilly air pass over her as she saw the spirit.

Sure, the dragon tooth held power.And yes, that power was magic. But what on earth would it do? Surely it wouldn't vanquish Jade's mother...And how would the samaraui take to it?

Oh, why on earth can't Diseh or Spence be here?

"I am so sick of you!" Spence lifted himself out of the snow, "How could you think about food now, Jade and Teresa could be in trouble!"
Spence picked up a stick, "That's it, I've had it up to here!" he ran towards Diseh and waved the stick directly towards his head.

((Okay, Spence and Diseh are going to have a huge fight that gets them in trouble. This is how it works, I attack, you dodge or get hit, you attack, I dodge or get hit and so on. I'm planning a twist at the end.))

"Incantumbe firourosum Cantornum." Diseh's hands glowed and in an instant flash the snow melted around him, and turned to water. The snow around Diseh began to sink from the water. Soon there was a crater, that was snow, where Diseh stood. Diseh jumped out of the way from Spence's fury, and dove into the snow. Diseh muffled under the snow said some inchantation, and his hands strated to glow blue. He used his hands as shovels, but froze the hole around him. It was an ice tunnel Spence could easisly crawl through.

The ice glowed white, it flashed as the snow exploded underneath Diseh's feet.
Spence rose up out of the pile of water, "You can't stop me!" He put both of his hands together as a pure white beam shot out in Diseh's direction.
"Holy will test you if your really good, or evil!" Spence yelled towards Diseh.

Diseh quickly turned around as Spence shouted. He dove of to the right, and quickly launched a fireball at Spence. Diseh couldn't help himself. He realesed all fury upon Spence. A black aura enveloped Diseh. He shot fireballs, iceballs, waterbeams, and other elemental projectiels, at Spence.

Spence got hit with fire and that weakened his grip on his feet, he summoned a burst of light that shattered the icicles and he managed to dodge before the beam caught up to him.
"Damn, I can't hit you!" Spence fell to the ground, culching it with one hand, "I...never really wanted to get involved..." Spence didn't notice the other projectiles heading his way, but when he did, it was too late.
Spence fainted, but something strange happened, wings shot up from out of his back, pure white wings, Spence had grown wings.
"Huh?!" Spence asked himself as he sat up, looking towards Diseh, "Now it

Diseh just leared at Spence. "Bring it on Angel Boy." Diseh was talking in some Demonish voice. "Feel my wrath." Diseh out his hands together like he was griping something. More dark black aura enswirled Diseh, but it went straight into his hands. The aura shot up, and created a Black energy sword.

((Hey...I thought that Diseh was a black magic person...What's he doing with a sword? My character actually has a story behind the whole wings thing...because he is a white mage...))

"Hey, no fair!" Spence flew towards Diseh with full force.

((I mean, come on, let Spence have a brake, it is kinda unfair!))

((I thought you were going to do something with a white energy sword, like a Duel of Light, and Drak, but nevermind. I'll edit it. Eventually.))

Diseh crouched in the snow, about ready to launch. He pushed off with full force He twisted from the start so he was spinning throuh the air. diseh locked swords with Spence straight from the start. "Your end will come quickly Spence, for you are no match for the will of Dark magic." Diseh pushed on finally unlocking the swords, he raised his sword over his head.

Spence clushed with Diseh's black weapon, but flew back.
He waited for Diseh to attack first, so he closed his eyes...

((Just wanted to let you guys know that Diseh and Spence are probably going to be the main characters of this RP for a week or so. Moongale is going on vacation, and since Teresa is kind of Jade's partner right now, I really can't do anything until she gets back. This being said, you guys are sort of in control of things at the present moment. We'll start focusing on both "groups" again after Moon returns, but for right now, have at it! I'll make sure to read all your new posts, though, mainly because I'm curious as to where you guys are going to take the story. ))
