If i go talk to the man in pacifilog the poke that has the mirage number
must be in the first position or can be on anywhere in the menu?
I don't think it has to be in front, but it im not entirely sure.
Better be safe than sorry, and put them in the front.
As for the jirachi question, ive been told its true, but i haven't actually encountered it.
And, i don't think the number goes up every week.

I've heard that the 'going into space and getting Jirachi and/or Deoyxs' was a load of bull-honky. Shame, really.

If a egg can't have a shiny poke please let me know!
A shiny pokemon hatching from an egg happens just as much as encountering a shiny pokemon in the wild. I think it's about 1/8000?

Yes, that is true. I wish it was like GSC, where if the father was shiny, all eggs from the father were shiny (that was when shiny vs. non-shiny was based off of DVs.). And, yes, they are the same as getting one in the wild.

1/8192 is just a fraction that denotes probability. If you're lucky you'll get an Egg on the first try, if you're not hatching 9000 eggs may not even get you one shiny Pokemon. Bottom line is, don't try to look for Shinies; it's too frustrating. Just let them get to you.

Since were talking about shinies, I was wondering yesterday while challenging the Battle Pyramid if its possible to encounter a shiny pokemon in either the Battle Pyramid or Battle Pike.
Has anyone ever encountered one? Is it even possible?
Thanks in advance,

Possible, but it's not like you can catch the Pokemon anyway.

Psychic, water, fire, grass, electric, dark, dragon, and ice are all special, and run off of the SAtk and SDef stats
Ground, rock, steel, normal, flying, ghost, fighting, poison, and bug are all physical attacks, and run off of the Atk and Def stats.

i have a few more question, but i am going to ask one first...
is there anyway to breed earthquake for trapinch/flygon etc?
i know earthquake is also a tm, but I don't want to use it, unless it is the only way...
(fissure may works too, but if it is lv 100....)

What do you mean?
Yes, the tm can be passed down to trapinch. It can learn the tm, so it can be bred from a male.

It is not possible to teach a Trapinch/Vibrava/Flygon Earthquake without using the TM in some way. I mean that you either have to teach Earthquake by TM directly to the Pokemon or you would need to use the TM for another Pokemon that Flygon can breed with. Unfortunately, all Pokemon that Flygon can breed with are also only in the Bug Egg Group and cannot learn Earthquake without the TM or by another Bug Egg Group's breeding help (that would need to learn Earthquake by one of those ways, too). If this doesn't make sense, I could try and explain it a little better. (It makes sense to me at least)

okay, thanks very much...
after some thoughts, i wanted to catch and breed 2 torkoals with one of the following natures and level up the baby with these attacks: (which in this case, both parents have same nature)
Adamant, Brave, or Impish
Heat wave
amnesia
somkescreen
yawn
don't worry about the items, probaly charcoal. I wanted to use this torkoal effeciently on battle... palace and so is normal battles, how this sounds?
EDIT: I don't know if special attack, attack, special defend, or defend is good for torkoal
earlier, I asked about treecko/grovyle/sceptile (one same pokemon evolves!)
right now, I want my future grovyle to have these:
Sceptile, Hardy nature, same that I want it to be battle palace and normal battle effecient
Leaf Blade
Agility
Screech
and false swipe
i don't know if this works.....
but I think there is a thread about these, but I am not sure where it is and if this is the appropriate thread to ask about

There are many torkoal sets that you could use. Toxi-tanking and physical walling are the big ones, though.
Torkoal @Leftovers
Relaxed (+Def, -Speed)
~Curse
~Flamethrower
~Rock Slide
~Return/Body Slam
He loses speed (which he doesn't need). Curse up 6 times, attack. Rest is sometimes an option, but his hp is'nt wonderful
Torkoal @Leftovers
~Amnesia
~Iron Defense
~Toxic
~Heat Wave/Flamethrower
Useless in my opinion, needs alot of help from umbreon.

right now, I want my future grovyle to have these:
Sceptile, Hardy nature, same that I want it to be battle palace and normal battle effecient
Leaf Blade
Agility
Screech
and false swipe
He has 3 sets that work. Special Sweeping, Physical Sweeping, and Sub-seeding.
Sceptile @Leftovers/Shell/Lum
Modest/Timid Nature
~Leaf Blade
~Crunch
~Dragon Claw
~T-punch
He gets no calm mind, which reeks.
Sceptile @Leftovers/Shell/Lum/Rawst
~Swords Dance
~Brick Break
~Aerial Ace
~HP Rock/EQ
Dance and kill
Sceptile @Leftovers
~Substitute
~Leech Seed
~Mega/Giga Drain
~Focus Punch/Leaf Blade/Some other move
Sub, Heal.
i don't know if this works.....
but I think there is a thread about these, but I am not sure where it is and if this is the appropriate thread to ask about
All pokemon rates belong in the rating thread, but I'll rate it this once.

Just keep on trying, Lilycove is the correct place. It just may take a bit seeing as there is only a 15% chance of finding one. Make sure that you are using the super rod aswell, Staryu can only be caught on the super rod.

to answer youre question prayermage6, you must win youre pokemon up to the master ramk in contsets. but u must of beat the elite 4, a art person will come up and will sketch a picture of youre pokemon in the art exibite. i think, once you get a certain number of paintings, then the art owner will give you something for youre secret base. hope i helped....

Right, I'll brave the waters with this question:
I've heard something about Record Mixing event tickets, but I want to know if you can do the same thing with Mystery Gift, i.e. FireRed has Aurora Ticket, Mystery Gifts with Emerald. Would I get the Aurora Ticket on Emeral?
Yes, I know that this is half to do with Kanto Revisited, but this seemed like the best thread.

All tickets bar eon are fixed. In the UK, the deoxys tour happened the day after emerald's release and required 5 gym badges. That is the only way of getting an aurora ticket on emerald.
Eon can only be sent to a ru/sa. Once it's there, mix records to swap it to emerald the same way you swap it to other ru/sa. You just can't use emerald direct. Don't worry about it.

Actually, thats wrong.
Tickets are given out to games, or in cards (Ereader if not mistaken). Once is on a game (A), it can be given to another game(B). However, Game B cannot send it to another game (C).
Consider it like this:
A-Fire Red
B-Ruby/Sapphire
C-Emerald

No, you can't, I tried. But you can trade over deoxys. I know that sounds stupid, but that's your only hope. I went through the same "if only I bought emerald before I went to the tour". What are the nature and IVs?
