Ryan looked back, again, and saw a dragon that he recognized from news programs brodcasting the Kyogre-Groundon incident a while ago. He remembered that it was a legendary pokemon. Of course, the brodcasts didn't say much about the actual pokemon, but from his guess, it was a dragon-flying type, and seemed to be attacking the trainers that he had seen a while ago. Ryan asked Swabbie to land closer to the pokemon. He thought for a moment, think about what he could do to stop it.

<Okay then, that thing would probably be stung by an ice move, but I don't have any pokemon with ice moves... I know! I have that Wartortle in my pokemon box!> Then, he released Breloom and Zowie.

"Okay, Altaria, you'll team up with Breloom, fly as fast as you can, and distract that pokemon over there. Then Breloom will sneak up, and zap it with Spore. That will give me enough time to get Wartortle out of the Mount Silver pokemon center, or for those other trainers to get out of there. Take these, okay?" Ryan said, giving both of them a Wiki berry, which Breloom held, and Swabbie held in her beak.

"Now, as soon as Breloom can zap it, you two run as fast as you can to that mountain. Zowie, you've got to come with me, to the Pokemon center over there. You two can do it." He said, and Breloom and Swabbie looked at him as if that was obvious.

As soon as he turned around, he decided that that wasn't such a good idea.

"Nah, forget that. Come on!." He said, and ran closer towards the Rayquzsa, hoping that this would work."

When Joey arrived into the area, the trainers seemed to be busy trying to fight Rayquaza. He told his Pokemon to stop and hold him in place, close enough for them to see yet far enough to be ignored by the Rayquaza.

First let's see if they see me; I'll let them make the first move.

Gene woke up at the Pokemon Center with his head throbbing with pain. He turned to his side only to see Pidger in another bed hurt more than he was. Gene felt alright and asked the nurse if he could leave. He decided that Pidger should stay so he would have to do with Scythe and Larva.

When Gene went outside he saw all the trainers fighting the huge Rayquaza. Gene sent out Larva who ran towards Gene at the first sign of the Green beast. "Larva we have to help them! They saved me so we have to help!" Larva turned around still looking worried but he fought with the others. As larva ran towards the Rayquaza (with Scythe not too far behind) he was nocked back by the Ground infront of him erupting! Purukia was nearby recharging after the solar beam it had fired at Larva. Scythe ran towards it but was suspended in midair by a Psychic attack.

((You think Mew and Lati@s are good because they are sweet and cute? Whom's always the serial killer? That's right, the sweet and simple ones who keep to themselves.))

David turned around and saw his new allies engaging the green dragon, whom was preparing to strike all of them down with an aerial ace.

"Crap, those idiots." He snarled. "Charcolt, go back but stay out of Rayquaza's way. The last thing we need is for it to get pissed off at us, too."

Charcolt complied and swarmed back low.

"STOP YOU FOOLS!" David shouted with all of his breath. "RAYQUAZA IS ON OUR SIDE! THINK ABOUT IT! WHY WOULD IT STOP GROUDON AND KYOGRE FROM DESTROYING THE PLANET IF IT WAS GOING TO DO IT LATER? IT'S ONLY HERE TO STOP WHATEVER IS CAUSING THESE CATASTROPES!

"SURRENDER TO IT AND LET IT GO DO WHAT IT HAS TO!"

((Well, the Latis always run instead of fighting you, implying that they are peaceful, teh only time a Lati actually attacks you in the game is through the Southern Island, and that was because you were examining it's egg (Animals are usually protective of their kids.). Ella glared at everyone. "You guys, get the hell out of here!" she snapped, "Dave's right. He attacked because he thought we meant it harm. That's what Garde says anyway. The point is, he'll strike you all down if you don't leave, because you attacked him! GET OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be alright."

Gene heard a trainer screaming out to stop attacking Rayquaza. "If Rayquaza is helping what about Purukia!" Gene screamed, dodging a solarbeam by jumping to the side.

Gene ran back to the pokemon center hoping that Purukia wouldn't follow him. When he walked in a nurse ran to his side. "You're Pidger is in a very unstable condition, we need you to come straight away!" Gene followed the nurse down the hall to where Pidger was being kept. He sent out Scythe and Larva to be by their friend's side.

Pidger rarely moved in the next 5 minutes but only to groan in agony. For the first time Larva wasn't jumping in joy but crying.

Pidger was gone.

On another note, this is the end of the world. No more Mr. Nice Ledgendaries. If anything, the Latis and Mew might be more destructive, because of their usually calm temperment. And who said Rayquazza was EVER nice? He's just the antithesis to Groudon and Kyogre, not necessarily a good guy.
And, another note, these are the actual, original, one and only ledgendaries, not copies in any way (except Mewtwo, who is an (altered) copy of Mew). Just in case anybody was thinking of RPing in that direction.))

Still trying to shake himself out of the fog he had been, Ricky took some time before he came up with a coherent course of action. He saw Ella land, and prepare to hold off Rayquazza, allowing the others to escape.
No way I'm going to let her do that alone...
"Lance, land down there, next to Ella! Quickly!"
Lance responded immediately, as he'd been waiting for just such a command from his trainer. He dove at full speed, then pulled up just before landing safely.
Ricky jumped off, and released his other two pokemon.
"Claw, throw a Rock Slide at Rayquazza, try to slow it down some! Sonya, use Hypnosis, try to put it to sleep! Lance, Use your Dragon Claw, but only if you have a chance to get him without getting hurt yourself; one hit from Rayquazza, and you'd be gone."

((Ok, a lot of stuff has happened, so I just would like a quick show of hands as to whose characters are at the pokemon center and whose are fighting Rayquaza.))

Seeing that the others weren't going to take what David believed to be good advice, he decided to leave them and head to the pokemon center himself.

"Bah, good riddence if they want to commit suicide." He said as he ordered Charcolt off.

After an hour or more of flying, they eventually made it to the center at the base of the mountain. He recalled Charcolt and went into the lobby.

((And the Latis might be even more destructive considering the fact that the Latis aren't one of a kind. They live in small herds. You know, none of your characters know who Ryan is as of yet.))

Ryan, behind a boulder, looked at the legend, who seemed to be trying to intimidate them, by screeching it's battle cry. Ryan could guess that this wouldn't last long. Then, he saw one of the trainers Gardevoirs using hypnosis. This was Breloom's chance.

"Swabbie, fly as fast as you can, and try to distract the Rayquaza! Breloom, get there and use Spore!"

Swabbie charged off at lighting speeds, powered up by it's Dragon Dances, and Breloom snuck towards it, waiting. Ryan crossed his fingers...

( I'm at the pokemon center.)

Gene was crying so much the nurse was feeling awkward. Pidger was Gene's best friend and he didn't want to leave it. Suddenly it hit him. Rayquaza killed Pidger!

Gene ran out of the building and stood next to Ricky and Ella. Angry as hell he sent out Scythe who attacked with Aerial Ace. It hit Rayquaza but did little damage. He sent out Larva who used a Rock Slide. Rayquaza felt this one and dove towards Larva. Larva had better reflexes than Pidger so he dodged the attack.

Ryan looked behind him, and saw another trainer, the one who had been injured by Rayquaza.

<Oh> Ryan thought to himself.

"Stop it! No one can fight a pokemon like this head on!" He shouted at the trainer.

Ella groaned. "Did you see that?" she asked, "He's HURT! We'll all be KILLED unless you wisen up and get the hell out of here! Don't worry about me, I'll think of something!"
She turned to her pokemon. "I'm sorry everyone! Ember, chase the other pokemon away!"
The pokemon proceeded to go after the other pokemon, taking cares not to seriously injure them, but doing what she could.
Are you sure this is wise? Garde asked.
'I have to. I can't let them all die. They'll be alright without me, and I'm ready and willing to do this.' Ella retorted
You may be needed in the times to come. Garde replied patiently
'I'm needed NOW!' Ella protested
Very well, it's your choice. she replied, But I can't send them all back. Too many.

David saw another one of the trainers leave the lobby of the pokemon center. He was obviously heading in the direction of Rayquaza to fight it.

"What a fool." David said as he walked over to the nurse to get his pokemon healed.

After they were healed, David let them all out to stretch while he turned on the news. More reports were coming in from all over the planet. Typhoons, hurricanes, volcanoes, earthquakes, blizzards, lighting storms, land slides, the list went on and on.

"Is that one pokemon that I fought behind all of this?" He asked himself. "Or could Groudon be in on it, too. If Groudon is in on it, why isn't it attacking Kyogre instead?

"*Sigh* So many questions and no answers."

Raine paid no attention to Riki hiding under her bed. She lay down on it and tried her best to relax, but it was hard. Thoughts of Riki, Rayquaza, death, it all swirled around in her head. She just kept lying there, and didn't notice that Riki had slipped out the door and into the lobby.

Riki walked around in the lobby, looking for something interesting. He noticed the news was on and he franticaly ran to it. He had remembered how much he loved the news, and he barked in appreciation that there was a T.V. here. While watcing the news, he caught something in the corner of his eye.
Hey...isn't that one of the trainers from earlier?
Riki tilted his head at the trainer, and tried to get his attention.

David looked down at the umbreon and figured it was the one he saw earlier that day.

"Hey, little guy, what's up?"

Maybe entertaining this umbreon will get my mind off all the destruction.

Riki wagged his tail and barked. He sniffed the trainer and his Pokemon.
This is the trainer from earlier.

((I am fighting Rayquaza...))

Joey watched the Rayquaza battle continue. He was beginning to think it would never end. "Land us down near those other trainers." Joey ordered his Ghost Pokemon. They obeyed and brought him down by Ricky and Ella.

They gently put Joey on the ground. Joey didn't quite know what to say, seeing as they thought he was dead. "I...return to fight."

((I am also fighting Rayquazza.))

"Ella! What are you doing, you can't take him on alone! If we can just put him to sleep with Hypnosis, then we can all get out of here!"
Ricky shifted his attention back to the battle. Rayquazza, distracted by both the Altaria and the Larvitar, was ignoring Lance.
"Lance, now's your chance! Use Dragon Claw!"
The smaller dragon fluttered to right next to Rayquazza, and then attacked with two powerful swipes right on it's flank. Rayquazza, caught by surprise, reeled around and swatted at Lance, but missed.
"Sonya, now! Use hypnosis!"
Sonya concentrated for a moment, but nothing happened.
"Drat, a miss. Don't worry about it, Sonya, we'll get him next time!"

((Wait a sec, Riki knows Faint attack, Xaliaphous. Then why doesn't it attack Raine with that? ))

Breloom looked at the legendary, and concentared for a second. It saw that it was distracted by the other trainers and Ryan's Altaria. So, then, it lunged towards it, and hit it with Spore, perfect accuracy. But it didn't fall asleep, like most other pokemon would. Instead, it turned on Breloom, and lunged at it with lighting speed, bu tBreloom rolled over, and into a dense patch of trees nearby. It could not follow, so The Rayquaza looked at the dense formation of trees, and let loose a stream of flames from it's mouth, igniting the trees.

"Dang it! Swabbie! Get down there and use Dragon Claw!" Ryan shouted.

The Rayquaza ignored his shouting, and continued to bomard the trees with flames. Then, the fluffy dragon dove towards it, then swiped it with it's claws, and flew away as quick as it could. The legendary felt that attack, then turned around, and charged at it.

"What the? That pokemon is hardly thinking..." Ryan muttered. "Swabbie! Dive!"

Then, as Swabbie dove, the Rayquaza dove down after it, Ryan picked up one of his normal pokeballs, and tossed it at it. The device droped a few meters away from it, tried to suck the Rayqauza in, then shattered in a second. Ryan didn't expect it do do anything, but it stalled the pokemon, and Swabbie got away.

((Ooops, I forgot. ^^))

"So what do you need, little umbreon?" David asked as a news report came on.


"We interupt this story to bring you an important message." The news caster began. "Goldenrod City is currently too dangerous to continue broadcasting. This is our last broadcast. Goodbye and God be with you."

The screen went to the color test and David turned off the T.V. with a sigh. "Geez. You know something, little umbreon, I am curious why that blue and metallic pokemon didn't kill me and the absols. It destroyed half of a city and killed lots of people. Why was I spared?"

Riki noticed the brodcast, and a few tears fell down his cheeks.
Those people....This is terrible...
While sniffling, he ran up to the room that Raine was in and he jumped in her arms. She looked at him in surprise, but softned and kissed his head.

Jim walked down the hall of the pokemon center toward his room as he saw an umbreon running down the hall. "Whoa!" Jim took a step back and watched Riki run into Raine's room.

Jim began to follow and knocked on Raine's open door. "Is everything OK?"
