"Sonya, talk to Garde. Does her plan make sense?"
Perhaps, perhaps not. Ella is right, though, we should leave now. We will not have time to later if her "plan A" fails.
"Alright, fine, my pokemon agrees. I'm going to disengage, and get to a safe spot, but I'll stay close enough to be able to help if your plan fails. Alright?"

((Dammit! I had this pretty, long post typed up... and I go to post, and it logged me out. *sigh* basic jist, plan A doesn't work, Rayquaza whacks Alta, Garde makes it so Ella can talk to Rayquaza. They have a chat, he leaves, she goes to tend to Alta, Garde takes them to the pokemon center. *sigh* I'll go rewrite it later, if I need to. Right now, my brain is fried.))

((Okay, cool. Basic Gist works. I'm meeting up with you back at the pokemon center.))

Ricky approached Ella as she entered the pokemon center.
"Hey Ella, that was impressive! How did you get Rayquazza to leave without killing anybody?"

After a few more hours, Cinnabar Island eventually came into David's view.

"Oh God, no." Was all he could say as he saw nothing on the island except smoke and ash. Even at the distance of 5 miles away, David could tell there was nothing left of his home city.

Suddenly, a giant white bird shot out of the water and shot an electric bolt in Charcolts path. Charcolt swerved and dodged it while the giant bird gracefully flew up in Charcolts path to prevent him from carrying David to the Island.

"Lugia! If you did this, prepare to die! If you didn't, get out of my way!"

-I will do neither, David.- Lugia said to David via telepathy, which David was a little taken back by.

-Latios and Latias are not finished with their job on the place you call, Cinnabar Island. So, you may not interfere. Plus, despite the fact that you and your pokemon are among the 37,000 creatures that have chosen to live through this event, I will take you to your death before I let you stop the cleansing of the inferior.-

((And here's the reason. The legendaries are up to something called cleansing of the inferior. What is it? Why are they doing it? Find out next time on, Pokemon Armaggedon.))

Gene ran to the pokemon center. When he got there they were planning to send Pidger to Pokemon Tower to bury him but Gene wanted her to be buried at Viridian Forest where he was born. Gene got the HM for fly out of his pocket and gave it to Scythe. He replaced Slash with Fly.

They left the building with Pidger's body and Scythe flew them to Viridian Forest.

After hours of flying they got to Viridian Forest. When they looked down Gene burst into tears. Viridian Forest was burnt to the ground. A Flame Thrower was aimed right next to Scythe. It missed but Scythe sill decided to fly to the ground to land. Diving after them was Moltres. Gene sent out Larva and attacked with a Super Efective Rock Throw. Moltres hit the ground as Larvitar was surrounded with light! He was evolving! The light surrounded Larva and was soon gone to leave a Pupitar in it's place.

Ella blushed. "Give Garde the credit. It was her idea to have me talk to him. He didn't want a fight. He thought WE were in cahoots with Groudon and that time legendary that showed up earlier. He just wanted to scare us." she sighed. "I explained things, and he headed off to do what he needed to do." She looked around. "Where's nurse Joy? Alta's hurt."
Nurse Joy came over. "Alta?" she saw the Altaria Garde was keeping suspended in midair. "Ah. Will the Gardevior let her go?"
She could just ask me! Garde told her, offended.
"Not EVERYONE can talk to you, you know." Ella told her soothingly, "Yes, Garde'll let you take Alta. Take good care of her. She's my baby"
Joy nodded. "Of course." she said, looking slightly confused. She took Alta to the back to heal her.
"Ah, a little side effect." Ella said, by way of an explination. "I can talk to pokemon now."
((Sorry, I forgot to mention that. Spaced.*frowns*))

"CLEANSING OF THE INFERIOR!" David shouted in disgust. "What in god's name are you legendaries up to, Lugia?"

-We are saving the world by purging it of those unfit to survive. You, your pokemon, and any others that have been or will be spared are among those we have deemed fit for survival. Those absol that fought along side you were also deemed worthy. That is why you and they were allowed to see Diaruga. We wanted you to leave.-

"So, Diaruga is its name. But, why couldn't the townsfolk see the absol?"

-If you saw a large pack of absol running into your town and barking like mad, you would run. We legendaries have a deadline, no pun intended, we couldn't risk them seeing the absol, running, and then Diagura have to hunt them all down...-

"So you allowed me, my pokemon, and the absol see it to scare us off. When we didn't run, it teleported us away."

-Correct.-

"Well, Lugia, I hate to disappoint yo...No, scratch that. I'm going to love disappointing you. Charcolt, heat wave!"

((Lol, I feel special because I'm one of the 37,000 superior survivors.. .))

Jim looked at joey and smiled. "You're still just as happy as ever aren't you?" Jim patted him on the back, glad to see he was alive. Jim then looked at Riki and Gruesome interacting with each other.

"I don't think you've met my pokemon yet, so how about now?"
Jim sent out Akil, Wyatt, and Gleda. Wyatt and Akil began playing with each other a few feet away, whilst Gleda decided to talk to Riki and Gruesome.

"Hi guys!" said Gleda very cheerily, sticking her right hand straight up in the air.

The wave of hot air did not even phase Lugia. Infact, all it had to do was throw up a simple protect shield. When the wave cleared, however, it saw that David and his charizard, Charcolt, were gone. Lugia turned around and saw them flying as fast as they could towards Cinnabar Island.

-Clever. All the more reason why you are chosen to survive.- Lugia said to David telepathically as it stopped him and Charcolt with a psychic attack.

The psychic attack froze the two in the air while Lugia took its sweet time flying over to them.

-I see we made a correct choice indeed with you and your pokemon. You are not cowardly enough to run away from your goal, even when facing me. Yet, you are not foolish enough to engage those stronger than you, directly. As for your pokemon, they too are brave enough to take any challenge on.-

"Why are you doing this, Lugia? All this 'cleansing' will only destroy civilization."

-You are wrong, David! The cleansing of the inferior will save it.-

((Sorry, my cable's been shut down and I have to use another computer at the moment. I should get my cable back tomorrow.))
Riki tilted his head at Gruesome. "Whatever." A shiver went down his spine, he knew the other Pokemon was right. He looked at Gleda. "Hi..." He sat down, threw his head back, and puffed a small toxin from his mouth (Toxic). He ran another direction.

Gleda coughed and gagged on the toxins infiltrating her body.
"HEY!" she yelled at Riki running away. "What was that for?" Gleda tried to use a metronome attack that would hopefully catch up with Riki, but instead she got a mega punch.
"Crap!" Gleda continued coughing and ran over to Jim.

Jim picked up his injured pokemon and held it as if it were a baby. "Oh no," he said looking at Gleda covering her mouth and her constant coughing. "Good thing we're at a pokemon center." Jim ran inside the pokemon center and got his sick togetic healed in no time.

Ryan, nine tenths through the mountains on way to Mount Silver, suddenly felt his energy drained from him.

"Ugh... What was that?" He muttered to himself, colapsing on the ground, holding one hand to his head. Then, his Growlithe ran up to him, and nudged him, distracting him from his sudden painful headache, and to a large herd of blue and red dragons.

"What the? Those...pokemon, they're Latios and Latias. I knew that they lived in groups, but that's the largest that anyone has probably seen. Oh god, this can't be a coincidence."

((Radio, I already have Latios and Latias on Cinnabar Island destroying it. Please pick a different legendary/group of legendaries.))

((Radio Willy, daveshan is correct. Also, for simplicities sake, we're going to ignore the Lati@s dex entries that mention herds of them; there's only going to be one of each for this RP. Otherwise, they wouldn't be quite as ledgendary.
pelligargetic, yes, Nurse Joys are alive anywhere that there is still a pokemon center. If the pokemon center is gone, then no, not really.))

"Um... talking to a pokemon as powerful as Rayquazza? I suppose that's an interesting idea, but, well... I guess I can't believe it worked. Did it say anything about what it needed to be doing that we distracted it from? That could be useful information."

OOC: So the 21 known legendaries are going to destroy everything on their own? Yeah right. The Latis aren't that legendary in the first place, if you ignore their stats and rarity. Besides, I was just mentioning them as a detail in the background. Simple enough?

((Pelligargetic, Riki threw his head back when he threw the toxin out from his mouth. So, if he didn't move, it would land on him. Gleda wasn't in reach of the toxin.))

"What kind of toros crap are you trying to hand me, Lugia? Killing those you deem weak is going to save society? My a..."

Silence, David! Lugia roared telepathically. We did not pick names out of a hat, nor do these choices have to do with race, ethnicity, nor religion. They are based on those who are genetically inferior. For too long, your society has found ways to keep people and pokemon whom have genetic diseases alive and, what's worse, you allow them to reproduce.

This has put a severe strain the DNA of every species on this planet. If left unchecked, no animal will be able to exist.

"So only 37,000 people and pokemon are genetically worthy of survival? You can't convince me that the gene pool is that far gone."

It is more then that, you posses a strong survival instint. All those whom we have chosen to live posses it.

Lugia was about to say more, but Latios and Latias zoomed up to it and spoke with it telepathically.

Good work. David, you wanted to see your precious island and now you may.

With that, Lugia launched David and Charcolt straight at Cinnabar with a massive whirlwind.

"Ummm...sure. Why not?" Jim turned to look at Gleda. "Hey Gleda, why don't you go follow Riki? That'd probably be more fun than watching Joey's pokemon eat souls."

Gleda nodded and ran after Riki.

The sky seemed even darker over the mountains now, blocking out most of the sunlight. A light rain fell from the clouds, and Ryan slowly got up, and looked up. The ground stopped shaking from time to time, and the rock slides were fewer. Zowie, uncomfortable with the sudden rain, tried to shake the water off. Ryan looked at the dog, then decided to take his mach bike out of his bag, then instructed the dog to follow him. The puppy pokemon wagged it's tail crazily, and started panting, running down the path as fast as it could. Ryan took off after it on his bike, and soon arrived at the Mount Silver pokemon center.

Ryan quickly dismounted, and folded the bike up, and stuffed it in his bag.

"Come on Zowie! Maybe someone in here knows what is acually happening around here." Ryan said, before walking up the steps and through the sliding doors. He tried not to think about what had happened at that town, but it kept on nagging him, no matter what he did.

Ella blushed. "I can hardly believe it myself." she admitted, "and it mentioned something about 'stopping the others' plans'. I'm not sure what he meant, I didn't want to question him." She sighed. "I never thought I'd see a legendary in my life, much less that one. I certainly never expected to have a chat with him. Or any other pokemon, for that matter." She looked around the Center nervously. "I just hope Alta's alright."
