All around David and Charcolt was death and destruction. Frantically and with tears in his eyes, David yelled at the top of his lungs. Hoping someone would here his call. But no one responded.

He released Shot, his arcanine, and Yurtle, his torkoal, to help him search for any survivers. None were found, even at Blaine's gym. All he saw was dead bodies. He eventaully found the body of Chris, a bitter rival of his and the one who called him back to Cinnabar.

"I'm sorry I couldn't help, Chris. I wish I was here, fighting along side you. This whole thing the legendaries are doing is toroscrap."

He sat down on a rock and sighed. "But what can I do? What can any one do against all those legendaries. They move so fast in all directions and..."

He stood and decided to leave Cinnabar, since there was nothing he could do there. After finding a few potions not destroyed, he recalled Shot and Yurtle. Then, he healed Charcolt and ordered him back to Mt. Silver.

((Well, do we have any other specific instances where we need to see the Ledgendaries destroying stuff, or is it pretty clear that pretty much everywhere has been leveled to the ground by now?))

"Stopping the others' plans? Hmm... I think I have an idea of what that may mean. We've seen the other ledgendaries causing destruction; remember Groudon in the Mountains? I guess that means that Rayquazza's task is to stop the others in their destruction. It's kinda fitting, I think, that the Sky God is going to do what it can to save the world from Destruction.
"The question, then, is what are we going to do? It's pretty clear that the ledgendaries have hit just about everywhere, there isn't a single TV or Radio station still operating, and the computer storage system is down; Nurse Joy even said that she'd lost contact with the other Pokemon Centers."

((Sure, the whole world is destroyed except for us, our pokemon, and other random survivors.))

Flying back to Mt. Silver, David and Charcolt were crying. The tears fell down to the tourched earth that they were flying over.

"I think it's all gone, Charcolt. Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, the Sevii Islands, even Shinou is probably destoryed by now. All because of some genocidal rampage that the legendaries went on."

Charcolt growled something to David. He knew what his pokemon was asking.

"What we do now is find a way to move on."

Ella nodded. "That makes sense." she said, "Although I hate to admit it. What happened to all those pokemon in storage? I had a huge amount of them in my own box, from all my travels." She blinked away a tear. "All those pokemon..." she trailed off for a moment before snapping back to reality. "I hope he can do it." she said, "I hate to think that the world is really coming to an end."
It is. Ember piped up suddenly, deal with it.
"Ember, don't." she snapped, "Just because I can hear you, doesn't mean you can get like that."
Ember sighed. I've always been like this. You just never could hear me to know."
Ella groaned. "Ember, my brain hurts as it is. You're not helping matters."
She turned back to Ricky with a sigh. "Sorry. Ember's being a brat."

"Well, if it's any comfort, your pokemon might not be gone completely. All we know is that we can't access them from here, but they might still be alive, at Bill's house. Um... that's okay, I guess. I can kinda feel what they're thinking; not really words, just emotions. Ella is hurt, and Ember is angry, right?"

Ella laughed. "I'M Ella." she told him, "Alta's hurt, Ember's pissy, and Garde's...." she looked about. "Where IS she?"
I'm with Alta. She wanted someone to stay with her, and you're needed. Garde replied
"Oh, come on, Garde!" Ella said, having jumped, "You scared the crud out of me."
Sorry. Garde replied insincerely, You need to get used to this.
"Ha, ha, ha." Ella replied, "Now is not a good time, Garde."
She sighed. "Garde's with Alta. And she's being a little nutty. Scared me half to death, hearing her in my head from across the Center."

After many hours of flying, David and Charcolt made it back to Mt. Silver. He made it back to the pokemon center and had the nurse, whom was a little shaken up, to heal Charcolt.

After getting Charcolt healed, he walked out the door, climbed on top of a hill, took a deep breath, and screamed his head off.

"AAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"That feels better."

Larva, Gene's newly evolved Pupitar, looked happy that he had evolved. His mood didn't last as Moltres got up and pecked at Pupitar. Scythe protected Larva and slashed at Moltres with Aerial Ace. Moltres retreated backwards but kept attacking. Larva used a Rock Slide that hit Moltres on the head. Scythe used a sword dance then attacked with Quick Attack. Moltres' wing was injured by this attack and it cried out in pain. Gene was half happy and half sad to see Moltres in pain afterall it was the pokemon that destroyed the forest. But Gene's guilt took over so he got some rope out of his backpack and tied it to Moltres' tail. He grabbed the other end of the rope and started to drag it to a pokemon center. Scythe and Larva grabbed the rope aswell and helped Gene.

((seymourgaudo101: Okay, that's just not a very believable post. You're taking on Moltres with a Scyther and a Pupitar, and winning? And what's with the rope, Moltres would not allow itself to get caught with anything as puny as a rope. For one thing, it'd burn right off, or get burned off when it uses a Flamethrower at Scythe. Sorry, but can you edit your post to make it somewhat more believable? Keep in mind that this is a ledgendary you're supposedly taking on, who at the very least is at Level 100 (regardless of their in-game status), while yours are probably in the 40-50 ish range (which goes for everyone else, too, if they're curious).))

"Oh, right, you are Ella. Sorry about that, I don't know where my head was. Hmm. I can't feel Garde at all now; I wonder if Psychic pokemon can select who they "talk" to, while other pokemon just have their emotions out for all to see?"
that is precisely correct, Ricky came Garde's voice in Ricky's head.
"Whoa! Oh, sorry, I guess Garde's freaking me out now too."

(Maybe the pokemon in the forest were helping defend the forest. Such as 100000000000000000000000 wurmple. Or even 100000000000000000000000000000000 Pidgeys. Wurmple may not be strong but maybe there were alot of them. And I thought that when Moltres fainted it fire went out and yes I said FAINTED so it might not be able to resist. Thank you for your time.)

((How about we compromise? seymourgaudo can find out, once he takes the "moltres" to the pokemon center, that it is actually a ditto disguised as moltres to take over what remained of Viridian forest.))

After he was done screaming, David took a walk down to where he heard some trainers talking ((QoI's and JsXtm's characters)).

"Sorry to interrupt, but I have something you guys might want to hear. If you have any family or friends who aren't extremely lucky, they're dead."

(Or even mew, pretending to be fainted so it can get to a pokemon centre to destroy it. Mew can morph.)

Riki noticed Gleda running after him and stopped. He turned around.

"Hi again Gleda."


Raine decided to walk out from the Pokemon Center's lobby. She looked at the sky.
"How many are left...?" She shrugged and released Mew and Corby. They stretched out, and ran off towards other Pokemon.

((Mew is strong enough to destroy the center from the outside, easily. It'll make more sense, and solve a possible dispute, that it is a ditto that was trying to take over what was left of the forest.))

"Where are you going? Can I come?" Gleda asked Riki.

Ella laughed. "SHe has that effect on a lot of people." she replied, "And yep, she can pick who she wants to know she's there."
She jumped when David walked up, with his disturbing news. "I'm alone." she said, "I've got no one, but what happened? How do you know? Why are you all sooty?"

(I was thinking that if it was a real Moltres it would be happy it got healed and then it would help us because I so kind. Yay for me!)

((The issue is, your pokemon aren't tough enought to beat Moltres. It isn't that Moltres will be happy to be healed.))

"I went back to Cinnabar Island. Lugia and the Lati's were there destroying it. Lugia told me, telepathically, that the legendaries were all doing something called, the cleansing of the inferior. Lugia told me that there are a total of 37,000 people and pokemon chosen to remain alive."

He sighed. "Our pokemon and we are among those. Too bad that guy who got killed by Groudon didn't make it. Ghost trainers tend to be people you can rely on to keep their cool in hard times."

((Remember, David doesn't know Registeel's character is alive.))

Ella gasped. Everything now made a lot more sense. "That's what Rayquaza meant." she said, "Stopping the others. He must not want that to happen. I wonder if there are any others who are against it..." She trailed off for a moment, thinking.
She jumped a bit when he mentioned that ghost trainer. "Oh, he's alive after all." she said, "He came and tried to help in the fight. I think he's outside. His pokemon saved him."

((Sorry, been too busy to get on. Yeah, the Ditto idea would be believable.))

"Dead...? No, it can't be true. My sisters... my family... it can't be true. Maybe... Maybe it's not. Maybe they were among the 'chosen', if that's what they want to call it. Maybe..."
Ricky collapsed onto a bench, and lowered his head into his arms. The soft sound of his crying could be heard.

((Flareon's going to blow up the center?! Raine isn't going to be very happy about that...Just kidding...^^))

Riki shrugged. "I guess."

After hours of dragging the "Moltres" Gene finally arrived at the pokemon center. When he got there all he could see was a pile of dust. Gene saw something twitch in the ash. It was Nurse Joy. Her body was weak and she was bearly breathing. When Gene got to her she was dead. "Not a good day is it Scythe." When Gene looked around though there were two Scythers. "What th.....!" Gene didn't get to finish his sentence until one of the Scyther morphed into a Pupitar. Gene was annoyed by this but Larva was happy to have a friend to play with, even if it was a copy of him. It eventually clicked to Gene what had happenned. "Scythe use slash on the Pupi.....! Which one's which?" There was only one thing to do that he could think of. He threw a pokeball at one of the Pupitars. The pokemon went inside. He also threw a ball at the other one. They both went back in tyhe ball without a dispuit. Gene was annoyed that the newly caught Ditto had taken the form of a large pokemon that was hard to carry. "Ok, Scythe use fly!" But Scythe was too weak from battling the Moltres look-a-like. "Damn it!" Gene started his walk to the closest..... well anything.

Ella sighed. "Ricky... It'll be alright." she said, hesitantly patting him on the shoulder. "Where are you from? Do you need to go check on family?"

((Question: Now that the world has ended, what do we do? Who are our antagonists going to be? Do we hunt down the legendaries to get revenge on them or does anyone else have a better idea?))

((maybe... we search for survivors? Then try and restart, rebuild, all that sort of thing. Or maybe we're not all supposed to have survived?))
