Gleda laughed again. "People huge, Aggron huge, or Lugia huge?"

((I'm guessing some Pokemon are afraid of huge people. ))

"Lugia huge."

Gleda stopped smiling. "Is...is that how the people died? Did the legendaries kill them?"

Riki mentally smaked himself.

"Gleda...unfortuanatly...that is a reason."
He sighed.
"But don't worry. Raine wouldn't stand for it, and neither would your trainer."

Gleda smiled again. "Isn't it great to know that we have great trainers like that?"

Riki smiled. "Of course it is!"

(( I think it's been long enough, don't you?))

"Hooray!" Gleda did a flip in the air (making sure not to hit Riki of course) and clapped her hands. Gleda turned around and floated back a little so that she was once again next to Riki. "We're in the valley! YAY!"

((Yeah.))

Riki smiled. "Here we are. Let's look through some of the trees for some Pokemon!"

"OK!" Gleda happily flew up to the one of the trees. "Hellooooooooooooooooo? Is anybody here?" Gleda climbed higher up the tree in search of something like a Pineco or Minomucci. Finding nothing in the tree, she continued to climb to the top.
Once at the top of the tree, she yelled "Hi Riki!" waving her arms in the air. "This is the funnest thing ever!"

Riki smiled. "I hope you're having fun up there!" He looked through some brush and jumped back. "I found something!"

"What'd you find?" Gleda yelled out. Gleda then dove deeper into the tree and stuck her head out from the mid-section.

"I think it's a bird!"

"A bird?" Togetic flew out of the tree and down to where Riki and the 'bird' were. "You mean like a pidgeot?"

Riki nodded. "Uh huh..."

Gleda set herself on the ground and poked the 'bird'. "Ewww... what is it? Is it a pidgeot?"

The 'bird' did nothing.

Riki saddened. "I think its dead."

"That's...horribble..." Gleda began to cry again, each of her tears falling upon the bird.
"I thought...that the legendaries were supposed to protect us! But now they're off killing us all!" Gleda was now sad and angry at the same time.
"Why are they killing everybody?! Not everyone is a jerk, and even jerk's have the right to live!" Gleda used softboiled on the bird, trying to restore its health, but no such luck.
"When they come for me...I won't be going." Gleda wiped off her tears and started to dig a hole to properly bury the bird in the ground.
"When they come for us, I'm going to fight with everything I have!"

Riki put a paw on Gleda's shoulder.
"They're not going to come for us. I won't allow it."
He started to help her dig the hole.

Gleda looked at Riki and smiled. "Thank you Riki. That...means a lot." Tears filled her eyes again as she smiled, but this time from joy instead of sorrow. (Like what your partner does multiple times in Mystery Dungeon )

((Gah. I've been listening to the same song almost 400 times in a row. I've tallied it.))

Riki smiled. "I wouldn't let them hurt no one!"

((Lol, I know. They cry a whole lot. xD))

Gleda smiled again and went back to digging. When the hole was done, she pushed in the bird. Gleda began to say a prayer to the legendaries, but then stopped.

"Dear God, I pray to you, curse the legendaries for bringing such sorrow into this world. At one point and time, they brought peace, and helped to keep it, but now..." More tears began to form in her eyes as she continually tried to wipe them away.

"...They've destroyed the world and killed many innocent people." Riki finished her sentence. "Gleda, please stop crying, it's making me cry." A few tears fell from his cheeks.

"Yes. After these incidents, those creatures, the ones we once called 'protectors' and 'guardians', shall no longer be treated with respected, but will be attacked upon sightings. Amen." Gleda finished the prayer and pushed the bird into the hole.

Riki put dirt on top of the hole until it was all covered up. He sat down as his eyes swelled up.

Gleda sat down next to Riki and patted his back. "It's OK, Riki. We'll get through this. We may not have our 'precious guardians' anymore, but we'ev got our trainers and each other." Gleda smiled.
