I am learning HTML and would like to know how you ppl here at psypokes made such an expansive website??

This website is not written in HTML. The pages you see a generated by PHP scripts, which are powered by a MySQL backend (I think).

HTML is a very restricted language; you have to hard code everything. PHP is more dynamic; the same bit of code can be used to generate hundreds of pages.

Get yourself a good foundation in HTML, so that you understand how generating a webpage works. Then, if you're serious about it, I'd suggest looking into things like PHP.

If you are interested in learning HTML, I would recommend you go here. This is where I learned the majority of my present HTML knowledge. Hope it helps you as much as it did me.

It was really a combination of MS Word, Geocities Page builder with a bit of bbcode here and there.

On a more serious note, Frontpage is useful for learning html so if you can get it it might be useful to play around with.

For simple websites html will do, so once you've mastered that you can go onto more complex languages like php.

If you really want to get yourself setup register for a free web host and muck around on that uploading your creations etc. You will most likely have to encorporate ads on free hosts.

is the site you are using a free web host and if not where can i find one??
and ms word is Microsoft word??
