Mark 2, this one has shading and a nice little box. As well as my digi-signature

His name is Sondutar. I changed the hands, he is a bi-pod now and can stand on his hind legs.

I like the idea, but some/more shading would be good. I really like it as a new Pokemon, but an alternative to Pupitar? Perhaps with a different colour scheme. I would imagine it to be Dark and Steel, but that would completely contradict Pupitar's typage...

I like it. 9/10. :)

It's a nice pokemon, but it's very...lined. You might want to make the outlines a bit lighter, and make the pokemon itself rounder. Maybe you should shade it in different colors, it would make it more realistic.

Very nice, but it REALLY needs to be shaded. 7/10

Ha, shading is practically non-existent in vector. I'll try add some gradients.... some day...

Woah, nice drawing. I wish I could draw anything except airships...

Anyway, ditto to what the others said about shading. I have one slightly n00b-ish question: What is "vector"? From what I've guessed, it's an art-form, but could you enlighten me as to what it is more specifically?

Vector (in art) Generally refers to simplified, or sometimes chaotic artwork. Basically it lacks major toning and depth.

Well mark two is up, enjoy.

A little bit skinny. And its eyes are, somehow, Digimon-ish, but I liked them! The whole concept itself is nice, and I loved the name. Good job!

No, that's not what a vector is at all.

You see, none-vectored artwork is made up of pixels. These are called Rasters. The closer in you zoom on a raster, the more blocky or pixelated it becomes and it loses quality.
Vectors are still made up of pixels, but in a different way. You can zoom in as close as you want on a vector and it will never lose quality.

Also, its not true about being simpler. Vectors can be as complicated as you like. It's all about how you use them.

That's quite a neat Pokemon. I like the design on its stomach. It's quite scary, which is cool. Maybe add some blue or green to it- otherwise its a little *too* different from Larvitar.
