Hi!
I submitted this to my County fair...and won second place for it. I was quite pleased with the result.

You should be proud of it, its really neat and its nice to see something quite unusual like cross-stitch in the sea of drawings and sprites. I like it a lot ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

wow, thats interesting, do you have one of those programs that tells you what color numbers to use once you copy the sprites in or something? anyway, its really good.

Thanks, both of you!
I thought it might be cool to post something a bit different.
I picked the floss colors out myself, using the one that I felt most closely matched the sprite's color. Yeah, I had a program that tells me which color numbers to use, but the design was made before I installed the program. And, I like better the colors I select over the ones that the program selects for me. Most of the time, they are pretty close to what I'd have selected, but sometimes they are way off.
Have a Pikachu pattern that I stitched too...and have scads of other patterns that have been made, but not yet stitched. Once I figured out a method to make the sprites into patterns, I can have a pattern made (before color selection) in under five minutes. Color selection and stitching take much longer. Lots of fun, though.

That's wickedness. I love it. You should be proud of yourself. I've never thought of stitching a Pokemon sprite, good idea. You should've won though
It's interesting that you used almost the exact colours, I copied them into Paint, very good.

I don't believe I've seen someone stitch pokemon before, but you've won me over on the idea.
They look so realistic, they look almost exactly the same as the sprites. You definetly should have won that competition thats for sure. Keep up the good work.

Brilliant cross-stitching!
I've got a question: what brand of thread do you use?

Wow thats awesome. When i saw "cross stitch" on the forums i was getting ready for something terrible, but it turned out to be pretty cool. I like how youve used each pixel as each "cross stitch" well done.

Two questions: How long did it take, and can you send me a pattern? I hate doing those cross-stitch projects that come in a bag, but these I would do anytime (I'd cover the walls in 'em).
