Cool place. I've attempted to join but those damn confermation codes always get me. It wont let me register but ill try again later.

I have 7 members so far and it is growing! Yippee! I have set up the PokeCenter and PokeMart things. I hope more will continue to come. Oh, I also have the ranks set up! Come and see!

Same for me!! I think it might turn out to be a very good forum but I can't seem to be able to join but after a few tries it tells me that I have exceeded the registration attempts limit and tells me to wait for another session....Help pease DP02

Thanks to all the members who have joined. This is growing quickly and I am soooo happy. To give an update about the boards:

Right now, we are voting on what our forums type is going to be. So far, we are going to be a "Dark Forums" . . . lol! Doesn't that sound sooo menacing. Our mascot is going to be darkrai, umbreon, or absol. That's of course the most obvious choices.

So far, I have had 3-4 people sign up to start the journeys. Firefly (heartofdarkness) has chosed Buizel for his starter. Cellblock has chosen Vulpix, and preblooch has chosen Budew. Right now, Cellblock and Firefly are battling. Each week, there will be new starters and the types will change as well, that way it's not redundant.

Budew
Vulpix
Buizel

Here's how a battle works on P.J.:
Both players send out pokemon (or with wild, I'll do the wild pokemon), and choose an attack. I then look at the chosen pokemon's stats and base the attack on their stats. Pokemon with +Def/Sp.Def will lose less HP and pokemon with +Sp. will be able to dodge more. I'm trying to make it as close as possible instead of just saying it hit, {pokemon here} loses this much health. After both players have posted an attack, I will do a little rendition of the them both and give the current HP and stuff like that.

I have set values on how much experience each pokemon must gain and will gain after a certain battle. Just like in the games, one will gain more exp. in battles than in wild encounters. And, just like in the games aswell, a trainer will win money from the opposite player for defeating him.

Also, the lottery is up and running! The base prize is 50 dollars and is raised each week!

The Pokemart is something special too. I have set up an unactive account named "Bank", who posts at each supermarket-market. When they purchase an item, lets say a pokeball (which is 7 pokedollars), they will donate the set amount of money to the bank which will then be used as rewards for contests I am setting up and for the Gym Leaders that will be present.

Another thing that will be happening soon is that I will be setting up jobs. These aren't your normal jobs of Mod and stuff. These are for those that want to be Gym Leaders, Elite 5 members, Super-Gym Leaders, etc. There were 2 things there that may seem different and you're right! PokeJourney is going to be a new fresh experience!

A bonus is going on! Anyone that joins within the next 3 days will receive a bonus of 400 pokedollars!

Actually, i already got the vulpix.You have to wait until new starters are created, and you have to choose from the new ones. ( Once every week, 52 times a year. )

I don't think so cellblock, there's two people with budews. I think dp02 is letting more than 1 people have the same pokemon, they might as well change it someday for something better...

Yes, thats it. Many people can have the same starter. If they don't want the one of the choices, then they wait for next week's starters

I have updated much since last week.

Due to some spam heaps, I have created Trainer's Corner. This board is for members to sign up to battle with other members. The experience will still be gained and the money will still be won.

Another update is the new starters. Because we have 3 of each starter (poor ryhorn), I posted them early. They are Yukikiburi (sp?), Pineco, Duskull.

The teams have also been created! The forums members have been super excited about it, as have I. There are three teams:
Team Opal -- This is the evil team that think pokemon are just beasts of burden.
Team Silver -- This is the good team that fight for the freedom of all pokemon. They are the main rival to Team Opal.
Team Turquoise -- This is the neutral team. They clean up the mess from the other two teams. They are the main rival to Team Opal. They have no feelings toward Team Silver.

Team Opal's team leader is Cellblock.
Team Turquoise's team leader is CiaranDUK.
MVP is currently in process on becoming Team Silver's leader.

Join team opal! We have more time on getting pokemon stronger by not wasting time on friendship!
