Yes, I think it was. Kudos to them for their fabulous guides (and a rather odd one on how Pokemon breeding works...)

Nope, at least, all my art learning came from there and I wasn't a member!

Cave of Dragonflies = Made of win
Your sigs are astoundingly good for Paint, I'd give an average of 8.5/10. It's good that you're getting Photoshop soon (though I still stand by the GIMP as just as competent ), then you can really start making excellent sigs!

The heck is "made of win"? I don't seem to get it... XD
Anyway, that spriting guide on Cave of Dragonflies was kinda cool, it went deep. Actually, it was only today that I first even read a spriting guide, and that was the one there. Didn't really contribute much when it comes to recolors, that's probably the most self-explanatory spriting thing there is, IMO.
Great you're getting Photoshop, though I'm kinda afraid of it. It's got all these functions and stuff, and I have no idea what they're for. You should try going on Filter -> Plastic bag or something, that was a kinda cool effect, I thought...

Yeah, make of win confused me too...
Anyway, here is my latest sig.
The idea came to me during a Politics lesson when I spelt exterminate wrong. Then I added the Dove soap, and thought I would make a sig out of it. I'm going to use it as my sig for a while now. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Artistically, it gets 3/10. No effects, changed colours, bad text and scrappy rendering. But of course, that's not the point of the sig! 10/10 for funneh!!
I suppose it's quite appropriate, since Doctor Who starts again tomorrow.

Yeah, you got it.
Considering the art, I didn't have the desired font, I was looking for something spiky, to convey the harshness of the Dalek's words.
But meh, I'm glad you found it amusing!
And I so intend on watching that...why did Rose leave?!?! (But then again, she was a chav...)

We're talking about Doctor Who - a British sci-fi show that is made of purified, condensced win.

Ooooohhhh, British show. that explains things..... (why I hadn't heard of it).
back to subject, ur siggy is.... ok (I probably wouldn't have chosen that exact brand and type of product). as far as paint projects go, that's worth a 86/100

Yeah, the reason you wouldn't get it is because the image in question (the Dalek) screeches EXTERMINATE when it wishes to kill its opponents. Hence, the play on words, and inclusion of a cleaning product. I wasn't really going for art there, just humour.
I suggest you somehow watch Doctor Who. Youtube it or something, it is the god of british television. As GQ would say, it is "undiluted win" or something.
(I love that new saying...)

"Undiluted win"? Where did that come from. Ever so random..... like all moments of life, like right now, a monkey can fall out of the sky. *Seconds later, an unfortunate Monkey falls out of an airplane that was delivering him to the SF Zoo (it's a very crappy zoo).* Sad.

Quote: it is the god of british television
Understatement!
I love the dalek one!
Something so amazingly large It would take up 8 pages of numbers/10!
And ah-ha! I just got word (rushes onto word and trys to make a brilliant sig like obsidians but fails very miserably).

I think it's great, Obs, because it made me laugh even though I have no idea about that Dalek thing you're talking about. XD
Oh, and the new "win" thing is just confusing me. Cut it out now, would you? [/teacher impression]
Oh, and Doctor Who goes on norwegian television sometimes. I never watch it, though, there are so many bad shows around that make me quit TV completely sometimes.. Everybody is just watching Lost or Prison Break anyway, so...

Major Update! I got my hands on my sister's camera and took pictures of all my....well, pictures. I would have scanned them, but I don't have a scanner, so i didn't. They're large, so I'll hyperlink them.
The Pika Family

Random Milotic Picture:

This is a picture of Dragonair using...PurpleBeam?!
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r314 ... gonair.jpg
Here is Carvanha; I am really proud of this one
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r314 ... rvanha.jpg
This is Magikarp, flailing about:
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r314 ... gikarp.jpg
Now, the three Kanto Finals:
VENUSAUR
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r314 ... nusaur.jpg
In my opinion, I mucked this one up. It looks like it was hit by a Sludge Bomb on the left...
BLASTOISE
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r314/Obsidian_Wolf/Blastoise.jpg
I love this one, I really wish he was real so I could hug him...
CHARIZARD
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r314/Obsidian_Wolf/Charizard.jpg
This is easily my best. Look at the eye! I think that I really managed to capture the essence of Charizard in this one. The fire's crap, but it's the picture I like best.
So, ratings please!

OMG</center>
... I can NOT believe you drew those, Obs, they're incredible. I'll comment on the Kanto finals, because they were the only ones that didn't take an hour to load on this sehr mucked up comp.
VENUSAUR: It's brilliant! I've never seen Venusaur like this before, and it's just amazing you actually drew these. You should really try to get a scanner and use this in a sig or something. It's great!
BLASTOISE: My favourite. It's just like I want a Blastoise to be, and the look on its face makes it astounding. An even better reason to get a scanner, lol..
CHARIZARD: I like the energy of it, but miss the rest of his body. This would do good if you were to digitalize it as well, .
9/10 for sure, Obs! These are great! If only I could draw as well.. *sobs*

Those are fantastic! I like the venasaur one best. Iknow how hard(or how hard I think) it is to draw pokemon because I had several goes. I manged to draw a cleffa and lugia sucsessfully out of an entire how to draw pokemon book which had 25 pokemon in. Your drawings are great! I hope you draw some more...[/u]

Thankies!
Yeah, the Charizard one was a little but of a mistake, because I started with the eyebrow, and then realised it was too big. But I was far too proud of the eye to start over, so I carried on. Perhaps I might do a big one.
The majority of them were taken from TCG scans. I went on PokeBeach, copy pasted them, printed them off, and then drew them. I fell down the stairs with the Milotic one, hence the creases.
I thought the Venusaur one was crap...but if you like it, well, that's good!
Thanks people!

Woah, I am so impressed! You should use some of them in your sigs! I love the Dragonair one, which is my favourite. The Blastoise one is great too!
Hmmm...Magikarp is a bit too...box-like. Make the lines curve more maybe?
Overall, a 7/10. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
