Using old rod is easy, using super rod is a little tougher. When you fish, once you see "there's something..." , you press A. If I did not remember wrongly.

Yes, you remembered wrongly. You have to press A when it says something like "...Oh! A bite"

Yes. Everytime it says "Oh! A bite!" after a series of dots press A right away. Eventually it'll be on the hook and you'll engage in battle.

Okay, I'm now at the Battle Frontier, and I'm trying new pokemon. I caught a mareep in the Safari Zone, but it's too high level for me. I checked the Psydex, and it says that mareep can breed with ditto. But, when I put the two together, nothing happens. They've been in there for 2 and 1/2 weeks. What's going on?

EDIT: forgot to mention that yes, I have put them in the day care. I'm not an idiot.

Anything, but ditto and unbreedables, can breed with ditto.

Have you walk around? It isn't only time, but the number of steps that triggers egg formation.

Also, what does the man say when you talk to him, about how well they like each other? If he says "They prefer to play with other pokemon than with each other, then there is no chance they will make an egg. Check The Psylab's Breeding Info for more details.

No no, u didn't understand. No egg has been produced. They just sit in the day care and cost me money . nothing is happening. No egg. And I know it's steps, not time. I've hatched lots of eggs. Also, how do u get a light ball? I keep on hearing how much better pikachu is then raichu if it has a lightball...

You can get a Lightball off of a wild Pikachu in RSE, 5% of the time.
Read the link I posted earlier. The phrase he says affects the chance of an egg being produced each 256 steps; If it's the absolute worst, then they won't produce an egg, period. Other that that though, yes, Ditto breeds with everyone except ledgendaries. If the phrase the man says is one that has a possibility of producing an egg, I'm not sure what's up.

I know this is a really stupid question, but can I trade with pokemon XD from my Ruby cartridge, before I have beaten the Elite 4? It's just that I want a NIdoking on my Pokemon Ruby so that it can use Mega Horn against Sidney, but I don't want to find my memory card, controller, game and cable just to find out that I can't damn well trade.

I trade Charizard from Fire Red to Sapphire (completed.)

I trade Charizard from Sapphire to Ruby (incomplete)

1.Where do you get the pinch berries?
2.The site says that poke get happiness points for leveling up. Will my Eevee get happiness points if I level it up while breeding?

1.) The pinch berries are found in 3 places:

Liechi Berry - Attack - Mirage Island

Ganlon - Defense
Salac - Speed
Petaya - Sp. Atk
Apricot - Sp. Def

^^The above 4 are either with the jirachi bonus disc, or a Pokemon Colluseum Coupon

Lansat - Critical Hit - Silver
Starf - Random 2 level - Gold

2.) Yes, if it levels up by daycare, it will gain happiness points

perhaps it is asked in a page before this, but i don't have the time to read all the 36 pages. i play pokemon ruby, but i have a berrie glitch. i also have pokemon leafgreen so i link them together so i can updait the berrie program. but each turn i try, my gameboy says the berrie program can not be updaited. turn off the power of your gameboy and unplug the link cable. so does anyone know how I can lose my glitch?




p.s. i think there are some spelling mistakes, but that is because i am dutch

I remember Krisp mentioning this before. I'm sorry but the older versions of RS cant be updated on the Berry Glitch. And dont bother sending a petition to Nintendo as they wont bother(i think).
