Trying to set up my favorite Pokémon as a possible physical sweeper:
Absol @ Shell Bell
Adamant or Jolly Nature
EVS: Attack 252, Speed 252, HP 6
X-Scissor
Night Slash
Psycho Cut
Swords Dance
Most types, I'll have -something- effective against it: The only real weakness being Steel, which is resistant to all the attacks.
Two of the three attacks are 'High Crit', attacks: I'd like a third, if possible.
Pity Absol can't get Focus Energy x.x

Me and my clan decided to start our own Pokemon league and of course we're giving out the various types to various people. I decided to choose poison. Now the only restrictions I have for building this team are the following:
1) Atleast one of the pokemon's types has to be poison
2) No ubers
3) No one-hit ko's
4) Can't use the same held item on more than one pokemon
Heres what I have so far for the outline:
Crobat:
Air slash
Haze
Bite,
Confuse Ray
Gengar:
Mean Look
Dark Pulse
Psychic
Will-o wisp
Nidoking:
Megahorn
Poison spikes
Thunderbolt
Shadow Claw
Tentacruel:
Surf
Poison Spikes
Barrier
Ice Beam
Venusaur:
Leech Seed
Earthquake
Seed Bomb
Double Edge
Skunktank:
Toxic
Night Slash
Flamethrower
Explosion
Obviously the hardest part will be fighting off Psychic types, so any and all help with that is very appreciated. Other than that, the main goal of this team is to poison all the opponents pokemon then hit them with various other attack types. I have none of this built yet so feel free to change as much as you like. thanks

Okay, here goes. But I'm not into getting the "perfect pokemon" so I don't look for good natures or go EV training. Not to mention, I already trained 5 level 100 pokemon, and about 10 level 70+, and I just hate the specifices. Also, I may add in a bit more than 6... NOW TO THE POINT!
Blaziken@Charcoal (want to replace with CB)
~blaze kick
~rock slide
~sky uppercut
~EQ
Dragonite@expert belt
~EQ
~ariel ace
~brick break
~roost
Zangoose@razor claw
~return
~shadow claw
~swords dance
~thunder wave
Mew@shell bell
~psychic
~ice beam
~fly (need to replace, but don't know what)
~softboiled
Shedinja@focus sash (I think it's one use...why does he eat it?!)
~x-scissor
~protect
~toxic
~confuse ray
Jirachi@leftovers (I'll use lefties for my Dusknor probably)
~doom desire
~psychic
~wish
~cosmic power
Dusknoir@leftovers (NOTE:I didn't evolve him yet, nor do I have all these moves)
~will-o-wisp
~shadow punch
~rest (any other healing move?)
~confuse ray (most likely to be changed)
Smeargle@quick claw/focus band?
~spore
~sheer cold
~lock on
~agility
Thanks in advance!

Lucario
@Shell bell(I have enuough leftovers, but I thought shell bell might work better)
Inner focus, + SP atk, - ATK
Pulse bomb(always hits
Dragon pulse(no added affect
Dark Pulse(May flinch
TM91, Luser cannon(May lower opposing SP ATK
~OR~
Lucario
@Shell bell
Humble Heart, Adamant
Crunch(May lower defense
Iron Tail/Stone Edge
Focus punch/in fight/Brick break
Swords dance/Bulk up/Substitute/Stone Edge
ninjask, opener. @i dunno. Jolly
moves:
scissor cross
substitute
baton pass
swords dance
EVS: 252 speed ,129 atk ,129 hp(Ill need it for substitute.)
Dragonite
I guess Ill go with whatever lucario isn't, so if you chose physical lucario then special draggy. but I coulnt think of a goo moveset for him on my life. although if I did make a moveset it would look like:
flamethrower
Ice beam
Thunderbolt
dragon dance
@lens sumthin +sp atk, -atk
EVS: 252 speed, 252 spatk, 6 hp.
If you chose sp sweeping lucario, then I need physical dragonite. If you chose physical lucario, then I need special dragonite.
Mismagius
thunder wave/will-o-wisp
confuse ray
attract
dark pulse/sucker punch(most likely the latter)
@shell bell? Jolly
EVS:252 speed, 129 def, 129sp def
The tankl will look like...
Bastiodon@leftovers@impish nature-SHINY!
252hp 252 def 6 atk
Iron defense
stone edge
roar
stone rock thing that works like spikes.
I also need a recommendation for a physical sweeper (as support for ninjasks sword and switch) and I was thinking either sceptile, torterra, or leafeon/glaceon.
Thanks for your help! You guys rock!
Im not impatient, I just thought that posting it on this page would make it...um..easier for you guys to see. Ya tats it!

Hi there, here is my team. All lvl 100. Before you read on, take note of my abbreviations for the attributes, as they may get confusing:
SpA = Special Attack
SpD = Special Defense
Sp = Speed
Kingdra
Modest (+SpA -Atk)
@Leftovers
EV: 252 SpA / 128 SpD / 128 Sp
Dragon Pulse
Ice Beam
Surf
Flash Cannon
Metagross
Adamant (+Sp -SpA)
@Leftovers
EV: 252 Atk / 252 Sp / 4 Hp
Earthquake
Ice Punch
Brick Break
Zen Headbutt
Umbreon
Bold (+Def -Atk)
@Leftovers
EV: 252 Hp / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Toxic
Mean Look
Baton Pass
Wish
Charizard
Modest (+SpA - Atk)
@Leftovers
EV: 252 SpA / 252 Sp / 4 Hp
Flamethrower
Sunny Day
Solarbeam
Roar
Blissey
Bold (+Def -Atk)
@Leftovers
EV: 252 Def / 128 SpD / 129 Hp
Softboiled
Aromatherapy
Calm Mind
?? (I'm thinking an offensive special attack, deciding between Ice Beam, Psychic, Flamethrower or Shadow Ball)
Alakazam
Modest (+SpA -Atk)
@Choice Band
EV: 252 SpA / 252 Sp / 4 Def
Trick
Psychic
Calm Mind
Shadow Ball
Rotom
Modest (+SpA -Atk)
@Choice Band
EV: 252 SpA / 252 Sp / 4 SD
Trick
Shadow Ball
Thunderwave
Thunderbolt
========
Before you guys say anything, I DO realize that that is 7 pokemon. I have that there because I am having a hard time deciding between Rotom or Alakazam. I want a trickbander in there and both also serve as pretty good special sweepers. I realize I can probably get rid of Baton Pass altogether on Umbreon, but I figure that if my Umbreon is having trouble staying afloat, I can always baton pass to Blissey, ensuring that the toxic kills. Also, in regards to Charizard, I realize there may be a better fire sweeper, but I also realized that every pokemon and it's mother has earthquake, so I see the flying as very beneficial to his survival. Roar is also there so he can serve as a Pseudo-hazer if need arises. Both my Kingdra and Metagross is designed to be somewhat of a Sweeper / Tank. In other words, they aren't purebred one or the other. I have Kingdra in there for it's lack of weaknesses, and I've got the appropriate attacks to ward off any dragons that decide to take a stab at him. He's the designated dragon slayer of the team. Metagross is there as an all purpose pokemon and physical sweper. The four attacks he has is super effective against 13 out of 17 types; the only types it doesn't have an advantage over is Psychic, Bug, Water and Ghost.
============
Any and all suggestions are appreciated!
Many thanks in advance!

 @leftovers
careful l thick fat
96 hp, 200 atk, 36 def, 176 sp def
body slam
earthquake/?
amnesia
rest>selfdestruct
Keep in mind that i'm going for a special sponge rather than the standard physical sweeper.

This set would be better
Vespiquen | Leftovers

If you don't wanna get a new Altaria, then replace Dragon Breath with Dragon Claw, Perish Song with Earthquake, and Sky Attack with Dragon Dance. Also, give it a Leftovers.
Infernape: Razor Claw
Hasty
Mach Punch
Flamethrower
Fire Blast
Cut (getting rid of that soon, using to get into Old Chateau)
Either give it Flamethrower, Calm Mind, Focus Blast, and Grass Knot, or Give it Brick Break/Close Combat, Swords Dance, Blaze Kick/Flare Blitz, and Stone Edge. Replace it's item with a Shell Bell.
Spiritomb: Spooky Plate
Bashful
Dream Eater
Dark Pulse
Hypnosis
Shadow Sneak
Replace Shadow Sneak with Calm Mind, and the item with more Leftovers.
Toterra: Rose Incense
Jolly
Gig Drain
Rock Climb (will replace with solar beam)
Earthquake
Strength (will replace with (put move here))
Replace Giga Drain with Crunch, Rock Climb with Seed Bomb/Wood Hammer, And top it off by replacing Strength with Stone Edge or Rock Slide. Also, give it another set of leftovers.
Magnezone: Magnet
Adamant
Thunder
Magnet Bomb
Flash Cannon
Thunder Bolt
Replace Thunder with Magnet Rise or Explosion. Also, remove Magnet Bomb (?) and replace it with Thunder Wave. Remove Thunderbolt or Flash Cannon for Substitute/Mirror Coat.
Dewgong: none
Naughty
Surf
Ice Beam
Blizzard
Waterfall (will replace with (put move here))
Replace Blizzard with Signal Beam, Waterfall with Rest, and give it a Chesto Berry.

Okay...about two days or more without a rate. Then when I finally see a rater in the "last post" area on this topic, lots of other people and I were skipped. I think there should be a more active rater, or two even. Just a suggestion, cuz this is taking longer than it usually does.

Dood, dont hate, appreciate.
the raters are jus exited about the new system as we are, and Ill bet the only person who has the entire system figured out is guod (lol) give em a chance to rate everyones. Obviously, ones doing it from the back and ones doing it from the front.
I havent been rated and I posted on the 20th.
and Im sure thier just as exited about the new game as yo are, with wi fi, new pokemon, and all kinds of other things to do, they have thier hands full. not to mention thier real life. Plus the fact that there are more teams per day then there are raters.
and he just said in like, the last post not to complain.

I just don't quite find it fair that someone gets a rate within an hour or so, when we have been wating for quite a while longer. I think they just need a little bit of help, is all I'm saying... Maybe as a suggestion, they could just check all team posts prior to the last rating, so they don't skip some of us, and answer others that are lucky enough to be on the first page, almost instantly. Oh my god, was all that one sentance?
~CHJB (only reason I'm "signing" this is because I have no other appropiate closer...)

This team is for my first time through. I haven't really included possibly useful TMs in the movesets; I'll probably change the movesets when I get them. I trying to use only 3 pokes (All phys. sweepers...hah)
EDIT: On second thought, 3 phys. sweepers is probably a bad thing, considering a good phys. wall could probably take me down. But I haven't been able to find any good spec. sweepers! If you want to suggest one, go ahead.

Okay, I guess last team was not that successful as I though, that´s why I´m coming with a new Idea, this time I want you guys to rate this project, the Dancing-Team (as in double battles only)
- - -
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
~Aqua Ring
~Helping Hand
~Acid Armor
~Baton Pass
Gorebyss @ Wisdom Glasses/Splash Plate
Trait: Swift Swim
~Surf
~Rain Dance
~Ice Beam
~Shadow Ball/Psychic
Toxicroak @ Muscle Band
Trait: Dry Skin
~Poison Jab
~Cross Chop
~Sucker Punch (Needs predictation, but still)
~Fake Out
Kabutops @ King´s Rock
Trait: Swift Swim
~Rain Dance
~Aqua Jet/Aqua Tail
~Rock Slide (Since this is for Doubles, I didn´t rather Stone Edge)
~X-Scissor
Togekiss @ Shell Bell
Trait: Serene Grace
~Thunder
~Air Slash
~Aura Sphere
~Water Pulse/Nasty Plot
Starmie @ Wisdom Glasses
Trait: Natural Cure
~Thunder
~Rain Dance
~Hydro Pump/Brine
~Psychic
((First goes Vaporeon & Gorebyss, right? 1st Turn, Aqua Ring + Rain Dance, 2nd Turn, Helping Hand + Surf, Vaporeon just RECOVERS all it´s HP Back, knowing STABed, Rainy Surf and Helping Handed as well (If the Splash Plate is used then it´s bonus as well), that means killed opponents and a healthy partner.
As for Togekiss, she is one of the Thunder-Dancers along with Starmie, they can do almost any opponent, and if any sponge/tank is in the way, Toxicroak and Kabutops can take it away.
Vaporeon´s Baton Passed Aqua Ring and Acid Armor(s) will mean a durable next partner, and that´s it, how do you guys like it?))

reposting... CHJB wrote: Okay, here goes.

Okay guys, let me say this again-WE ARE AWARE THAT WE ARE MISSING PEOPLE. WE ALL HAVE LIVES AND ARE JUST AS EXCITED ABOUT P/D AS YOU ARE. WE WILL GET TO YOU EVENTUALLY. THERE IS A GOOD TWO PAGES OF RATES TO DO RIGHT NOW, I'M WORKING ON IT!

Okay, lets try my team for ingame on D/P...
Gengar @Focus Band/Leftovers
Trait:Levitate
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt
-Psychic
-Destiny Bond
Lefties for item. might want Sludge Bomb over Psychic. I personally use Explosion over Destiny Bond.
Weavile @Shell Bell/Razor Claw
Trait:Pressure
-Ice Punch
-Faint Attack
-Swords Dance
-Reflect/Torment
Shell Bell for item. Night Slash over Faint Attack, Brick Break over Reflect.
Empoleon @Leftovers
Trait:Torrent
-Surf
-Protect/Aqua Jet
-Toxic
-Aqua Ring
You seem to be going for a more defensive Empoleon, you will want to keep Aqua Ring. Toxic won't be too usefull in-game, go with Ice Beam. Go with protect over Aqua Jet, and you'll look pretty good.
Magnezone @Wisdom Glasses
Trait:Sturdy/Magnet Pull
-Thunder Wave
-Magnet Rise
-Flash Cannon
-Thunderbolt
Lefties for item again. substitute over Flash Cannon.
Toxicroak @Damp Rock/???
Trait:Dry Skin
-Rain Dance
-Toxic
-Bulk Up/Poison Jab
-Brick Break
Shell Bell for item. Anticipation would be better for trait. Get rid of Rain Dance and Toxic for Stone Edge and Earthquake.
Kangaskhan @Focus Band/Chesto Berry
Trait:Scrappy
-Fake Out/Rest
-Substitute
-Reversal
Kangaskhan @ Choice band OR Lefties
Trait: Early Bird.
Rest/Earthquake
Return
Crunch
Fire/Thunderpunch
