I'm having a Single battle soon. I don't know if my team is versatile and adaptable enough, since I have NO clue what he has..
oh, and i think when you suggest breeding you should suggest the parent that learns it at the lowest lvl possible (saves time)... i almost jumped out the window when i found out altaria learns dragon dance at lv40, beating seadra/kingdra's lv 65 (and horsea's lv 50)
I play pokemon emerald, but can't trade that often.
Here i go...
*note: no repeated items for metagross, salamence and swampert for BF purposes. and no hidden power please
lv 50 | Adamant @ Choice Band/SB/Lum/???
252 atk, 252 spd, 6 sp. def
HP type: Water
meteor mash
EQ (YAY!!!)
shadow ball (YAY!!!)
sludge bomb (already used the explosion tutor, so YAY!!!)
lv 50 | Adamant @ Choice Band/Lefties/SB/???
252 atk, 252 spd, 6 sp. def
(will probably change to 20 hp, 252 atk, 48 def, 48 sp.def, 140 spd if putting d-dance)
HP type: Untested
brick break
EQ
rock slide
a-ace
I'm probably going to put D-Dance somewhere, what should i forget?
lv 50 | Hardy (might change to brave) @ lum/chesto/lefties/???
252hp, 129 atk, 129 sp. atk
(will probably change to 108 HP, 96 atk, 96 def, 136 sp.m atk, 72 sp.def)
HP type: Steel, but I'm going to retrain, so ???
Surf
Ice Beam
EQ
Rest/Brick Break/Rock Slide?
lv 50 | Modest @ Lum
252 sp. atk, 252 spd, 6 def

Metagross @ Lum Berry / Leftovers (Can't Decide)
Adamant l Clear Body
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
Shadow Ball
Sludge Bomb
Agility/Rock Slide/Explosion > Shadow Ball. Leftovers or Choice band.
Milotic @ Leftovers
Calm l Marvel Scale
Surf
Icebeam
Recover
Mirror Coat / Light Screen / Confuse Ray (Can't Decide)
Rest, Sleep Talk, Surf, Ice Beam. Rest activates marvel scale, and you attack with talk. Or, just recover, and c-ray in the end.
Alakazam @ Leftovers
Modest / Timid (Can't Decide) l Synchronize
Calm Mind
Psychic
Recover
Thunder Punch
FirePunch > T-punch. Deals with steels.
Breloom @ Leftovers
Jolly l Effect Spore
Spore
Leech Seed
Substitute
Sky Uppercut / Focus Punch
Focus Punch, with swords dance/hp rock/hp ghost > substitute.
Salamence @ ?????
Adamant l Intimidate
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Aerial Ace
Dragon Dance
@Sheel Bell moves are good, though.
Ludicolo @ Leftovers
Modest l Rain Dish
Leech Seed
Giga Drain
Dive
Rain Dance
Mega Drain > Giga Drain (lotad levelling). Calm > Modest, but modest is okay.
Skarmory @ Leftovers
Careful l Keen Eye
Spikes
Toxic
Whirl Wind
Double Team / Agility
A regular move should be on. Drill Peck or steel wing (note: Whirlwind + Drill peck is impossible - thats why there's roar).
Dusclops @ Leftovers
Impish l Pressure
Pain Split
Will-O-Wisp
Seismic Toss
Shadow Ball
Brick Break/Focus Punch > S-toss.
Slaking @ Choice Band
Adamant l Traunt
Hyper Beam
Earthquake
Shadow Ball
Brick Break
Good.
Ninjask @ Leftovers
Adamant l Speed Boost
Baton Pass
Substitute
Sword Dance
Silver Wind / Double Team
Good.
Cradily @ Leftovers
Bold l Suction Cup
Confuse Ray
Recover
Giga Drain
Anceint Power
Toxic, Barrier, Recover, Ancient power.
Well theres what I need rating. Sorry for having so many Pokemon to be rated.
Salamence, Milotic/Ludicolo, Alakazam, Metagross, Ninjask, and Dusclops/Slaking. Cradily is not good, I don't like breloom (small movepool - no rock slide hurt it, better off with machamp/heracross in my opinion), skarmory has little use in game.

Rain dance/Thunder or T-bolt + T-wave. Calm Mind > Spark. If going with Rain Dance, HP Water > Crunch/CalmMind.
Impish @ Leftovers Or @ Chesto ?
-Thick_Fat-

Return
Yawn

Lots of options. Teeter dance, Leech Seed, Focus Punch, Shadow ball for avoidance (could go sandstorm > leech seed, though). Specialturne has Needle Arm, FaintAttack, T-punch, and LeechSeed/Sandstorm/TeeterDance. The hp is pathetic, so some avoid lefties, and just have it dodge using bright powder.
Sorry about the delay - I didn't get my email

shadow ball
sludge bomb
Agility/Rock Slide > Shaodw Ball. Everything else hits quite nicely. However, with those other moves, shaodw ball does less than the others. (ie, shadow ball vs. dusclops, as opposed to meteor mash). @Choice Band if using 4 attacking moves, @Lum for 4 moves (against friend, use feties)
lv 50 | Adamant @ Choice Band/Lefties/SB/???
252 atk, 252 spd, 6 sp. def
(will probably change to 20 hp, 252 atk, 48 def, 48 sp.def, 140 spd if putting d-dance)
HP type: Untested
brick break
EQ
rock slide
a-ace
Dragon Dance > Brick Break. Unless you expect t-tar. but there are better counters, so, yeah. @Shell Bell.
Lots of movesets. Curse in the last spot. This should be the t-tar counter (rock resist, sandstorm immune, stab on good 95 power move that can ohko t-tar). Curse will raise the defense and eq power. Brick break exploits steels (EQ does that better, as does surf). Rest is good for status (the choice in taking this monster down).
lv 50 | Modest @ Lum
252 sp. atk, 252 spd, 6 def
HP type: Fighting
Leaf Blade
T-Punch
Crunch
dragonbreath (no d-claw)
Good. D-breath gives extra para chances.
lv 50 | Quirky @ lefties
252 hp, 129 def, 129 sp.def
HP Type: Untested
rain dance
dive/toxic
giga drain (used pp max)
leech seed
Ability? Rain Dish, prefferably. Breed for mega drain (get lotad up to like 20 or 30, and it'll learn mega drain) That'll give lots more pp. Calm or Modest nature. Dive if you want to avoid them, toxic if you really want to cause bi damage (and, leech seed/toxic run on the same counter)
lv 50 | forgot @ SB/Scope Lens/King's Rock/White Herb/???
129 sp. atk, 129 atk, 252spd
HP Type: Untested
Sky Uppercut
Flamethrower/maybe overheat
Rock Slide
A-ace
SwordsDance > Aerial Ace. Fire blast maybe. @Leftovers/Salac berry.
I'd probably switch out metagross/ludicolo for a healer or passer. See, metagross can double as a physical wall. Colo is a good drainer/annoyer, but all clerics are special sponges (ludicolo's main purpose)

All of them but Zapdos are the Water-type (read my nickname). I love the water type, and I use these pokes at the Frontier, usually Zapdos, Ludicolo, and Swampert or Milotic(my team's superstar, my favourite poke). I was wondering whether this last one should have Dragonbreath or Toxic, so I would like you to give your opinions^^

You have flamethrower, no need for overheat. Go with Dragon Dance/SwordsDance/EQ/Rock Slide/Brick Break in the last spot. EQ + Rock slide has 2 resists (claydol and flygon). Brick break can hit harder on some others, though.
3. Snorlax
Adamant
Chesto Berry
-Rest
-EQ

-Rock Slide
Curse/Shadow Ball > Rock Slide.
4. Gengar
Timid
Bright powder (or pls suggest)

@Leftovers. If @Brightpowder, Destiny Bond could fail (they won't hit you ).
5. Jolteon
Modest
(Pls suggest)
-Thunderbolt
-Protect
-Thunder Wave
-Toxic
Baton Pass + Agility > Protect + Toxic. Toxic isn't good as there is already another status.
6. Metagross
Jolly
Choice band (suggestions are welcome)
-Meteor Mash

Choice Band is fine. Explosion/Sludge Bomb in the last spot.
I am playing against my friends. Our rules are no ubers/legendaries and unobtainable berries (Salac berry for example)

No liechi either, I take it? Anyway, switch out kingdra, as it isn't that good (alot of other waters get surf/ice beam/rain dance/swift swim). I'd reccomend either a salamence (physical sweeper, intimidation), or forretress (spikes, rapid spin, physical wall), or, because you need a surfer and beamer, cloyster (can you get it?), with spikes, rapid spin, surf, and ice beam.
Oh, and welcome to psypoke
Thanks in advance.

Ok, thanks for the rating^^ Now I will post my re-made team. I have bred some of them for better DVs ( Ludicolo and Swampert, actually)and changed some of their moves. As for Ludicolo, I will keep the same moves(Surf, Ice Beam, Giga Drain and Rain dance)and same ability(Swift Swim) for I will use it as a sweeper for the Frontier and against my friends.I also dropped Zapdos for Articuno, so that the party looks more like a Water army
Articuno, modest@???maybe Starf?
Ice Beam
Water Pulse
Agility
Endure/Reflect??
Swampert, sassy@Shell Bell,evs: 252 sp.def, 100 atk, 156 def
Curse
Earthquake
Rocs slide
Return/Brick break/Focus punch??
Ludicolo, modest@???lum/brightpowder???
evs:236 sp.atk,100 def, 172 sp.def
Surf
Ice beam
Giga drain
Rain dance
Milotic,modest@Leftovers, evs:148 sp.atk,208sp.def,152 def
DVS:atk 28, def 24,sp.atk 31, sp.def 25, spd 30, hp 31
Surf
Ice Beam
Dragonbreath
Recover
Azumarill,naughty,@Scope Lens,evs:252 atk, 128 def, 128 sp.def
Substitute
Focus Punch
Return
Iron Tail?Rollout?
Suicune,adamant(T_T),@Focus Band,evs:100 sp.atk,156 speed, 252 def
Surf
Ice Beam
Roar
Calm Mind
Now, explanations. Sassy Swampert will have max. special defense, and will be able to raise its attack and defense, no need for special attack or speed though. Ludicolo, sweeper, will be in the Frontier team with Swampert, so that it cannot hold Lefties. Milotic*superstar*, has not been changed, but I exchanged Shell Bell for lefties. Azumarill cannot have special attacks(it has got Huge Power) due to its horrible sp.atk.I might use it in the Frontier too, or against my friends(our rules: no same held items, no ubers, no same pokemon in the party). Finally, Suicune: I could use it as a PP-drainer with the combo Pressure+Protect, but I chose for a Calm Mind sweeper/tank. Again, no same held items, no same pokemon in the party. Thanks in advance^^
By the way, those number I posted before under the names of my pokes are DVs, not EVs^^Anyways, thanks for the previous rating

Umm, bold/252 Def evs. is reccomended, so it survives more physical hits (like Earthquakes and most focus punches).
@Leftovers of course.
What is Earthquake doing on there though? You recognize that the base attack is 10, right?
Common moves on blissey:
Sofboiled - 50% recovery
Heal Bell/Aromatherapy - Status support for your team
Calm mind - more offensive, but the idea is to be an even bigger pain to take out with an even greater Sp.Def.
T-bolt + Ice beam - 2 pokemon resisit. Calm Mind, Softboiled, T-bolt, Ice beam is the usdual set for these blisseys.
Flamethrower + Psychic - lots of things are weak to it, but a few more resist. Much like the bolt-beam above.
The rest when i get home - in about an hour (sorry).
bluestrike wrote: My final gardevoir is going to be:

But I cannot decide between Will-o-Wisp, Magical leaf or toxic for the fourth move... which one should I have?
Definately Will-o-Wisp of those 3. It will help you stay alive longer. Keep in mind that you have to breed for it, though.
Hypnosis is another option - put them to sleep so you can power up safely.

For the last 2 spots, Mind Reader/Sheer cold is an option. Though, I personaly like reflect in the last spot, so it isn't a guaranteed ko from a rock slide. Starf berry seems good, though a lum can come in handy.
Swampert, sassy@Shell Bell,evs: 252 sp.def, 100 atk, 156 def
Curse
Earthquake

Ice beam takes out those that resist EQ/Rock Slide combo ({claydol} and ). Its also good for salamence. Or, go with rest in the last spot.
Ludicolo, modest@???lum/brightpowder???
evs:236 sp.atk,100 def, 172 sp.def
Surf
Ice beam
Giga drain
Rain dance
@Leftovers, Rain Dish ability. Calm. Toxic, Leech Seed, Dive, Mega Drain > Giga Drain (Former for pp, latter for Power). Brightpowder could be used so you avoid even more attacks
Milotic,modest@Leftovers, evs:148 sp.atk,208sp.def,152 def
DVS:atk 28, def 24,sp.atk 31, sp.def 25, spd 30, hp 31
Surf
Ice Beam
Dragonbreath
Recover
Could go with refresh > dragon breath, but you're good otherwise.
Azumarill,naughty,@Scope Lens,evs:252 atk, 128 def, 128 sp.def
Substitute
Focus Punch
Return
Iron Tail?Rollout?
HP Ghost would have been best. Test your hidden power type, please. @ a pinch berry - this may be where you want liechi or starf.
Suicune,adamant(T_T),@Focus Band,evs:100 sp.atk,156 speed, 252 def
Surf
Ice Beam
Roar
Calm Mind
Bold would have been nice. I like rest > Ice beam, simply because you will take poundings while you power up or roar.
Absolutely no problem.
Ratings are all done, again.

umm, your team looks rather good
For , maybe sludge bomb for power and status.
For , swords dance, definately.
I'd reccomend a healer, only because status kills you. Blissey or Vileplume (you need a grass type). If going with vileplume, try to give metagross agility.

Some healer with defense.
Curse Miltank
Granbull
Yeah, thats it
Status kills you, and the defense of your team is sort of lacking.

I assume you have access to tutors, and can breed? Dragon Dance or Swords Dance > Dragon Claw. The special pool sort of sucks (and the special attack is good), but at least it gets a decent attack and physical movepool. Getting back, shell bell is good for the item. Adamant or Jolly nature is best.
nidoking
admanant
item leftovers
ice beam

thunerbolt / megahorn ??
sludgebomb
Megahorn, to deal with darks and psychics. Rock Slide > Ice beam. Keep it fully physical. Leftovers or Choice Band is fine.
gyarados
careful ? not sure if right one
item ?? thinking quick claw
ice beam
dragon dance
eq
surf
Return > ice beam. Substitute > Surf. Hidden Power is needed here, really. Any physical one.

@Leftovers. This looks good.
dragonite

Substitute, Focus Punch, T-bolt, Ice Beam is the standard mixed-sweeping dragonite. It is a monster I speak from true experience.
and lastly my favourite
mewtwo
item?
nature bold
moves
psychic
ice beam
thunderbolt
flamethrower
Calm Mind > Flamethrower. @Leftovers or Shell Bell. Modest/Timid nature.
what do u guys think?
Pretty good overall, but a bit of an ice weakness.
You know what - I'm too tired to quote all of your teams. Time for fast rate:
Sum_1
Zapdos - Drill Pech, T-bolt, T-wave, HP Grass. HP Ice is used to destroy grasses which resist electrics. With drill peck, you deal with those grasses, thus freeing up for you to kill water rocks, rock grounds, etc.
Venusaur - Very tanky, very defensive. At least, it should be. Leech Seed, Sleep Powder, Synthesis, razor leaf. no breeding. High critical. High accuracy. Will last for a looooooooooong time.
Arcanine - Aerial Ace, and howl/iron tail in those spaces. Good stats, no movepool. its horrible.
Gyarados gets dragon dance, eq, return, hp of any physical type
rhydon - mega horn > substitute. brick break > focus punch.
Blue strike - shadow ball and body slam would be best. Though, return could go instead of body slam. Your choice (I like status).
rayquazard:
should have brick break, EQ, Rock Slide, and Aerial Ace. Choice Banded.
should never deviate from the standard, unless you know what you are doing. Calm Mind, Surf, Thunder, Ice Beam @Leftovers . thats it. Ky00ber.
is the male lati. they are characterized by the defensive moves and stats. Safeguard, light screen, and wish (on latias) are common. For latios, safeguard, calm mind, dragon claw, and psychic.
looks horrid. Meteor MAsh, EQ, Shadow Ball, and Sludge bomb for status.
I'd reccomend a special wall, and a healer. Blissey fits this well. A better physical wall, with some side-damaging move. Forretress, with spikes, does this very well.
That sceptile is a mess. Lose the hms, lose the giga drain. Leaf blade is good. T-punch, Crunch, Leech Seed, dragon claw are common moves

Why have Body Slam or Return when I could have earthquake?
