Mawile@?
Lax|Hyper Cutter
~Charge Beam/Brick break/Focus punch
~Baton Pass
~Crunch/payback
~Iron Defense/stockpile/substitute
This is a weak pokemon, iron defense will be tough to use, if they switch to a special sweeper he won't be fast enough to baton pass out of it, unless you max out his speed evs and pass agility to him. Charge beam might not be the best since it has a tiny special attack stat, sub has strategic value, but his low hp doesn't compliment it. Payback if you don't expect a speed boost. Stockpile is a semi-vain attempt to survive a special attack to baton pass. Brick break has great type coverage with crunch, and focus punch is good if you can predict switches and scare them from switching in a special sweeper.
Ariados@?
Rash|Insomnia
~Protect
~Attract
~Sludge Bomb/Body Slam/toxic
~Spider Web/pursuit
This one is Really weak and hard to use, the only possible way I can think of this working is if you take a baton pass route with your pokemon and pass defenses to this guy and tank some stuff. Then you've got some options.
You'd also want to get a different nature since that'd be breeding. If you do though, you can SpiderWeb to trap then pass it to the killer you need. Agility won't help him much, but it's a very valuable passing stat.
If that's not an option then you'll probably have to go with an annoyer, like the one above.
Swampert@ Leftovers
Adamant|Torrent
~EQ
~Waterfall
~Stealth Rock/rock slide/stone edge
~Avalanche/Ice Punch/Hammer Arm/rock slide/stone edge
Well, Avalanche and Ice punch puts fear into potential grass types or dragons as well as anything that gets hit, but they are harder moves to get and rock will cover move of that pretty well. Hammer arm has different coverage that can sync up with the other attacks, but stealth rocks are good to have. And shell bell doesn't work all that well.
Girafarig@leftovers
Modest|Early Bird
~Rest
~?
~?
~Oder Sleuth
I'm not gonna edit the above more than I did before realizing that there's so much you can put there that it would look silly with all the different options.
Yeah, he Can learn crunch, but it is physical now, and you have a modest nature, so it'd be crazy weak. Shadow ball/psychic are good alternatives, especially since you can switch in on ghost attacks.
I'm not quite sure what you're going for, but oder sleuth would only help one of your attack, are you running into evasion problems?
Shadow ball, Psychic, Energyball/grassknot, are viable attacks if you want to work that special attack stat.
But you can also take the baton pass route, with def and special attack passing already possible, you can run amnesia and double both defenses for this pokemon then tank. Something like Rest, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Amnesia. Or you can give up an attack for baton pass, and make a small chain for huge defenses.
Heracross@ChoiceScarf/leftovers/life orb
Adamant|Swarm
~Megahorn
~Close Combat
~Night Slash/Pursuit
~Earthquake/Rockslide/Stone Edge/Sleeptalk
I understand what you're going for, but Heracross has some powerful weaknesses, particularly flying. And even if he knocks something out and/or bulks up he'll need to switch out to be safe. This set works Best with Jolly, but is still awfully good Adamant. So think about it.
Since you'll have to switch anyway close combat isn't a problem. Night Slash is an options since A lot of people will try to wall megahorn/Close Combat with a ghost. Pursuit is because of focus sash on flimsy ghosts. Of course no matter what you're predicting a switch so be careful.
Earthquake is high power and good coverage, but if you scarf a quake and they switch to a flyer/levitator they get the advantage in the battle.
Rockslide/stone edge aren't as reliable or strong on average, but they work as an alternative to earthquake without as much fear of the immunity.
Sleep talk is for people who run into sleeping techniques a lot, I Think it still works fine with scarf, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong and I'll edit it out asap. It would give you a good advantage and make you immune to other status affects for a while. Probably not the best for the average player anyway.
If you go with baton passing, you can forgo the scarf for an agility pass. Leftovers for staying power life orb for short range killing power.
Any Pokemon With high Attack that can learn Fling and with a high enough speed stat to do It with an iorn ball? I would prefer a Dark type for STAB. Iron ball halves speed, it would only work against particularly slow pokemon like snorlax, no matter what.
I have to go suddenly, but pm me and we'll talk about what you're willing to do.

I am using the pm tactic to see how many people want their teams rated. Many Bug Catchers make 1 or 2 posts, get their teams rated, and leave. With the long waiting list, they probably posted their teams, waited, and moved on. PM ME IF YOU STILL WANT A TEAM RATE, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU WANT ME TO DO IT, PLEASE (this way, I can bolden your name, which indicates you are still here and waiting).
Also note: Any post missing vital information entirely (ie, Natures, EVs, Hold items) without asking for a suggestion, will be subject to skipping - DO NOT CRY TO THE MODS, AS THEY HAVE TOLD YOU OVER AND OVER.
I am dealing with Zoso2220's team right now. Pigeon will be dealt with later tonight.

I hast returned from the terrors of my mind ! I hast plenty of time to rate your dark manifestations ! I rating. I will get through has many as I can.
Mewsix:
Quote: (typhlosion)
Blast Burn (yes, horrible, isn't it?) Yes, it is.
Flamethrower
Flame Wheel
Rollout
Yes,I need help getting better moves then just fire moves, that's why I'm here
Well, Mewsix, you need some moveset help. But don't worry, that's why I'm here Alright, Blast Burn is horrible. Rollout is even worse. And please, don't put three fire moves on it. The fire move you need is Fire Blast. Typhlosion is a very bad pokemon, and it doesn't have much moveset wise. You could give it earthquake, maybe. And a hidden power, maybe grass would be good. Or ice. It learns Endure and Reversal, too. That's nice. Other than that, I don't know what to say. Try not to use typhlosion. There are much better fire types out there. They beg to be used over the guy.
(empoleon)
Aqua Ring
Hydro Cannon (yes bad)
Surf
Peck
PECK?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!111?!!?!?!?//!!?!?! Of all moves, why would you put PECK on an empoleon? WHY??? Alright, you've got one good move, and that's surf. Keep that. Now put on yawn. A very, very good move. Yawn will force switches. After all, who wants to get put to sleep? With yawn forcing switches, put on stealth rock to do damage while forcing switches. Put on flash cannon for dual stab, and you're set.
(Lucario)
Aura Sphere
Iron Tail
Shadow Claw
Dragon Pulse
Getting better. Although Iron tail is really bad. I'd put Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon, Psychic, and Dragon Pulse with choice specs.
Salamence
Zen Headbutt
Flamethrower
Dragon Claw
Fly
You have half physical half special here. Salamence is famous for the brand spanking new Specsmence set, complete with Choice Specs (duh). I myself do not know the specsmence set, but know it has Hydro Pump, Draco Meteor, and Fire Blast. You might want to try that.
(Sceptile)
Frenzy Plant (yes,very bad)
Leaf Blade
X-Sissor
Dragon Claw
I would criticize you for having physical moves when it has a significantly better special attack, but Sceptile's special movepool is rather limited. If you want to go for a Physical sweeper set, you could try Leaf Blade, Earthquake, Dragon Claw, and Swords Dance. An interesting and highly effective moveset from the days of RSE used leaf blade, substitue, leech seed, and hp Ice to recover the Hp lost from Substitute via Leech Seed. Sceptile has a good movepool, lots of moves are open to it. Just NO FRENZY PLANT
(manectric)
Spark
Thunder wave
Quick Attack
Bite
Manetric. Very very bad Pokemon. Why do you have all physical moves on a special pokemon? If you must use Manectric, try Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Flamethrower, and Hidden Power grass or Ice. Although I'd use another Pokemon.
Well, some interesting sets you have there, Mewsix. I would suggest looking on the psypokes main site to see what the Pokemon highest stats are before you make a moveset. Having a pokemon keyed to special attacks use physical moves would be rather poinless. Also, I noticed that you did not specify natures, items, or EVs, so I did not factor those into account.
Well, that's the only one for right now. Sorry. I will rate more ASAP. Until next time, Ciao!
*EDIT*: Sorry PL, you posted while I posted, so I didn't see the new rating list. I would no longer like a rate, as I have a rather significantly changed my team. Sorry if I rated someone who didn't want to be rated.

This is a 3rd Gen team, that I want to be adapted for 4th Gen Battles. Please help me out with this.
I do not mind about Natures normally, as it is only 10%, and these are for casual battles.
Same goes for EVs, although I normally get 100 for the stats I want through vitamins.
I need suggestions for Items though, if you could help with that I would appreciate it.
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Earthquake
-Rest
-Psychic
-Thunderbolt
-Will-o-Wisp
-Calm Mind
 I dislike CB.

-Swords Dance
-Endure
-Reversal
-Megahorn
-Crunch
-Flamethrower
-Sunny Day
-Solarbeam
-Heal Bell
-Milk Drink
-Body Slam
-Shadow Ball
I dunno if this is a good team overall. If there are any really big flaws please point them out and suggest a change.

zoso2220 from Page 23 wrote: I need some help on a sixth pokemon. The main problem with my team is that all of them are pretty mediocre at defense, so im trying to think of a good sponge that wont hinder my team. You can also rate my pokemon as they are right now, but its not really necessary. You will probably just notice that they are pretty standard and boring sets, and well, they are. Thank you.
(starter)
Gyarados @ Shell Bell
Jolly | Intimidate
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Ice Fang
Waterfall
Earthquake
Stone Edge
@Liechi Berry or Choice Band. EQ + Stone Edge has 2 resists (Flygon and claydol), so thats a good combo. Waterfall for STAB, and Ice Fang for flinch/freeze and the 50 million things weak to it. This does help with the Defense, as it lowers the attack.
Scizor @ Leftovers
Adamant | Swarm
252 Atk, 129 HP, 129 Sp Def
Swords Dance
X-scissor
Brick Break
Iron Head
This looks about right. You may want U-turn > X-scissor. Leftovers isn't really reccomended on this one - you could go with @Life Orb, but get the HP to 289 (28 damage recoil). Technician is best with that one though, as you need quick attack.
So, at the risk of counding confusing:
Scizor @Life Orb
~Swords Dance
~Quick Attack
~Metal Claw/Iron Head (same power, basically, but the attack vs flinch is in question)
~X-scissor/Brick Break/Roost.
Togekiss @ Kings rock
Timid | Serene Grace
252 Sp Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Shadow ball
Air Slash
Aura Sphere
Roost/softboiled
Nasty Plot > Roost/Softboiled. Otherwise, why use it :S
Electivire @ Leftovers
adament| Motor Drive
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Thunderpunch
Earthquake
Ice Punch
Cross chop
I'll say this again - I find T-bolt better than T-punch because T-bolt is good with Gyardos, Skarmory, Bulky waters, etc. @Life orb, it attacks.
Gallade @ lefties
Bashful | Steadfast
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Leaf Blade
Psycho Cut
Brick Break
Earthquake
@Scope Lens, can try for Close Combat > Brick Break. Night Slash may be considered over EQ, as Dark + Fighting has no resists.
?????? Edit: i have been thinking bastiodon, but im not sure, how does this pokemon do? Maybe aggron? skarmory?steelix?
Bastiodon @ chesto
Impish | Sturdy
252 HP, 129 Atk, 129 Sp Def
Metal Burst
Rest
Stealth Rock
Rock Slide
This is best, in my opinion.
Aggron @ Leftovers
Adamant | Rock Head
252 Atk, 129 Sp Def, 129 HP
~Earthquake
~Rock Slide
~Double-edge
~Avalanche
Looks good. May want stone edge > Rock Slide, for power.
Skarmory @ chesto
impish | Sturdy
252 HP, 129 Def, 129 Sp Def
Roar
Spikes
Drill peck
Rest
not @Chesto - Roost > Rest, @Leftovers
Steelix @ Leftovers
Impish | Sturdy
252 HP, 129 Atk, 129 Sp Def
Stealth Rock
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Rest
Roar/Explosion > Rest - it won't survive the sleep.
SAIRAM from Page 22 wrote: Here is my team
 @???
252Atk 252Spd 6Hp
Adamant
Swords Dance
EQ
Fire Fang
Dragon Claw
Basic Physical Sweeper.
@Leftovers or Yatche Berry. You could go with Stone Edge > Fire Fang, for power (and a bit of coverage). the critical ratio is pretty good, and the good defenses means it can take a hit.
{porygon z} @Life Orb
252Sp.Atk 252Spd 6Hp
Prferably Timid
Nasty Plot
Tri attack
Shadow Ball
???
Special Sweeper. Dont want to be a bolt-beamer like starmie and this is almost sure to OHKO anything(other than Blissey) after Nasty Plot.
Recover, so it lasts longer. Signal Beam, for confusion. Your choice.
 @Expert Belt
252Sp.Atk 252Spd 6Hp
Modest
Psychic
Surf
Thunder Bolt
Ice Beam
Special Sweeper.
Looks right. Super effectove on lots Though, you may want rapid spin to combat all the spikers out there. Maybe > Surf or Psychic?
 @???
252Atk 252Spd 6Hp
Jolly
Meteor Mash
EQ
Zen Headbutt
???
Agility gets you to 400 speed. Rock Slide/Stone Edge because EQ + Rock move = good combo. Sludge Bomb for status, explosion when you blow up. Pursuit to chase after Dusknoir and others that fear you. Oh, and magnet rise, if you are into that. @Leftovers or Choice Band (Choice band with Rock move, sludge bomb, or explosion, leftovers with agility/magnet rise). @Life orb is an option for versatility (as in, Pursuit).
Physical Sweeper.
 @Maybe Engima
252Hp 129Spdef 129Atk
Impish
WoW
Ice Punch
Payback
Shadow Punch
Tank. This is more offensive i need defensive moves.
WoW is good. Pain Split/Rest > Payback. The last moves are up to you. T-punch + ice punch is good to combat spinners (thats what dusknoir's main purpose is - blocking spinners). Its also good to have 2 bolt-beamers. Fighting + Ghost is a good combo, but thats pulled off better with Togekiss on the special side. Go with curse and 1 attacking move, and you will force switches (so, you'd be better with a spiker, but thats it).
I need a 6th member for my party prefferably something that does'nt share many weaknesses like these
 @lefties
252Spd 252Atk 6HP
Jolly
Substitute
Leech Seed
X-Scissor
Leaf Blade
I wouldn't. HP Ice > X-scissor, though. That is, if you really want to use it.
OR
 @King's Rock
252Sp.Atk 252Spd 6HP
Timid
Nasty Plot
Air Slash
Aura Sphere
???
Shadow ball, as Shadow Ball + Aura Sphere = no resist. @Leftovers.
Which is better for my team?
How much does the Expert Belt and Muscle Band increase by?
20% for expert belt. 10% for muscle band.

Please tell me if the EVs sound good, because I've never EV trained before, but I'm definitely going to start.
...Also while we're at it...

OR:
Manaphy @ Damp Rock

Ice Beam/Grass Knot
I was originally going to have Ice Beam instead of Psychic, but this way he can deal with other water types as well. The Damp Rock will make Rain Dance last longer, but I'm not quite sure if I want it to in case I have to switch, especially to some one who is weak against water/uses fire moves.
Your help is greatly appreciated!
...Also, here's my idea for my Palkia:
 @ ?
Pressure, Timid
252 SP, 252 Sp. ATK, 6 DEF
Earth Power
Spacial Rend
Surf

That thing is awesome with Choice Specs, but you already have one Choice Specs poke on your team, so you may want:
Palkia@Life Orb/Expert Belt
Pressure | Hasty
252 Sp. Atk, 80 Atk, 176 Spd
Surf/Aqua Tail
Dragon Claw/Spacial Rend (Use both moves on the left or both moves on the right)

OR:
Palkia@Lustrous Orb/Damp Rock
Pressure | Hasty
252 Sp. Atk, 80 Atk, 176 Spd

Rain Dance
Thunder
Use the top Manaphy and the top Palkia and Vice-Versa.

Protect
Aerial Ace/X-scissor: substitute is bad with focus sash, since you just waste your own sash protection by cutting hp. Use X-scissor or aerial ace instead in case you want to hit something.
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP is standard
Lucario: Modest Nature @ Choice Specs
Aura Sphere
Psychic
Dragon Pulse
Shadow Ball
EVs in Sp. Attack and Speed. Remaining 6 in HP.
You're obviously not passing into this, since this guy is special-based, so choice is ok.
Tyranitar: Adamant Nature @ Life Orb (Baton Passed To)
Earthquake
Crunch
Dragon Claw
Stone Edge
6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Speed. Just because you got some speed boost from Ninjask doesn't mean you can just ignore adding speed. Also, you only want 252 HP EVs for sub-punching, otherwise, there are far better things to spend EVs on.
With Life Orb's boost, you could try Fire Blast/Ice Beam/Crunch/Stone Edge with 216 Atk, 196 Speed, and 96 SpA. It's far less predictable.
Metagross: Adamant Nature @ With a BP, you're trying to sweep and not take enough damage to get a pinch berry activated. Leftovers./color]
Explosion
Meteor Mash
Magnet Rise
Zen Headbutt
[color=blue] Once again, add speed. 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 4 Hp.
Crobat: Jolly Nature @ Quick Claw
U-turn
Hypnosis
Mean Look
Aerial Ace
EVs in Speed and Sp. Attack. Remaining in HP.
If you're using him for trapping, follow the blue instructions. If not, stay timid, use your EVs, and use Nasty Plot/HP Ground/Dark Pulse/Air Slash but use Expert Belt.
You only have 5 pokemon for some reason. Get a sixth, I recommend some sort of tank pokemon. Snorlax is good here.

Gallade @?, Steadfast
Rash
Psycho Cut
Shock Wave

Brick Break
@Scope lents. Leaf Blade > Shock Wave (physical vs special, and the special attack sucks), and Brick Break/Close Combat. While Close Combat does more damage, its a question of defense drops.
Tyranitar @ [?], Sandstream

Aerial Ace

It won't like going fast, especially with better options. Rock Slide/Stone Edge > Avalanche. Now, the Atk > SpAtk, so Crunch/Dragon Dance/Brick Break/Dragon Claw > Flamethrower

Timid
Crunch
Flamethrower
Shadow Ball

you've got one move right (flamethrower). A better option than the 2 physical moves, and the one inferior special move is Dark Pulse, Sunny Day, and Solar Beam. Timid or Modest is good. @Petaya Berry. or Dark Pulse, Flamethrower, HP Grass, and Nasty Plot.
Magnezone @[?], Magnet Pull

I am entering a series of online gyms. The Gyms are Dark, Electric, Ghost, Ice, Normal, Poison, Steel, Flying. 4 of the Pokemon the leader uses has to be that type, others can be anything. Here is my team. They are Ev-trainer, but I can't remember so I shall just put their stats:
Metagross @ Quick Claw. Clear Body
Adamant
Stats:
Hp: 315, Atk: 352, Def: 268, Sp. Atk: 178, Sp. Def: 188, Spd: 190
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
Brick Break
Explosion
Fighting his way through as many foes as possible, Metagross will then explode for a 1-Hit KO.
Houndoom @ Power Herb/Heat Rock. Flash Fire
Modest
Stats:
Hp: 263, Atk: 169, Def: 108, Sp. Atk: 320, Sp. Def: 168, Spd: 261
Flamethrower
Solarbeam
Dark Pulse
Sunny Day
A basic special sweeper with good STABs, the trouble is choosing items. Heat Rock means longer Sunny Day, but Power Herb means I can let off a Solarbeam quickly without the giveaway of Sunny Day.
Starmie @ Focus Band. Illuminate
Modest
Stats:
Hp: 261, Atk: 167, Def: 206, Sp. Atk: 328, Sp. Def: 206, Spd: 329
Recover
Surf
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Standard special sweeper.
Salamence @ Focus Sash. Intimidate
Adamant
Stats:
Hp: 394, Atk: 405, Def: 196, Sp. Atk: 230, Sp. Def: 196, Spd: 236
DragonClaw
Earthquake
Ariel Ace
Roost
Says it all.
Tyranitar @ Focus Band. Sand Stream
Adamant
Stats:
Hp: 355, Atk: 303, Def: 270, Sp. Atk: 178, Sp. Def: 250, Spd: 130
Earthquake
Stone Edge/Rock Slide
Dragon Dance
Taunt
Physical sweeper to the core, Taunt is to stop Whirlwinds, Will-o-Wisps and such. After this is withdrawn, the idea is to put Metagross in, who doesn’t care, or Houndoom, to Sunny Day the sandstorm away.
Gengar @ Big Root. Levitate
Modest
Stats:
Hp: 261, Atk: 149, Def: 156, Sp. Atk: 394, Sp. Def: 186, Spd: 319
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Giga Drain
Sludge Bomb
Another sweeper.
If you can give suggestions for types, stratergy (i.e. replace a sweeper with a tank). I do have, in paticular, a Modest Milotic with Ice Beam, Surf, Recover and Substitute, for tanking purposes. I need the reply soon.

Another team, for you guys to rate. I'm complete lost so please help me organize this.
Skarmory@Leftovers
Impish 236 HP, 46 Atk, 228 Def
Roost
Drill Peck
Spikes
Whirlwind
Drapion@Black Sludge
Impish 158 HP, 110 Atk, 216 Def, 26 SpDef
Cross Poison
Crunch
Fire Fang
Toxic Spikes
Gallade@Choice Scarf
Adamant 6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
Close Combat
Earthquake
Night Slash
Psycho Cut
Gengar@Petaya Berry
Timid 6 HP, 252 SpAtk, 252 Spd
Energy Ball
Sludge Bomb
Shadow Ball
Substitute
Blissey@Leftovers
Bold 160 HP, 252 Def, 98 SpDef
Stealth Rock
Softboiled
Thunder Wave
Seismic Toss
Garchomp@Life Orb
Jolly 52 HP, 206 Atk, 252 Spd
Swords Dance
Substitute
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
This is the current team that I have made. I have put in Drapion to rid of opponents who use toxic spikes as well as block some weaknesses that come with my other pokemon. Gallade is there for an added spice (note: I've been swept completely because of damn cresselia). Please tell me all of the possible flaws because I am starting to go completely insane because of choice scarf users. Please feel free to suggest new pokemon to replace gallade and drapion if ever. I have removed all of the weakness links except for Ghost, since only few pokemon use shadow ball except for gengar. I've put into retirement Weavile (he can't fit in), Bronzong(simply can't take it) and Hipowdon (can't take much SpAtk's).
Thanks in advance.

Another new rater! Finally passed that exam, with a perfect score no less!Darjulok wrote: Can someone rate now these Pokemon?
Metagross @ Leftovers, Clear Body
Relaxed, 252 HP, 129 Atk, 129 Sp. Def
Iron Defense
Magnet Rise EQ/Rest
Zen Headbutt
Meteor Mash
Physical sweeper and tank hybrid
Iron Defense takes care of EQ, so Rest if you want healing, EQ if you want to at least neutrally effect 489 pokes.
Metagross @ Choice Band/Shell Bell, Clear Body
Adamant, 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Earthquake
Hammer Arm
Zen Headbutt
Meteor Mash
Physical Sweeper
Not much to say, maybe Jolly? Rock Slide or Thunderpunch might be better than MM, which is only SE against rock, which EQ covers.
Claydol @ Leftovers, Levitate
Impish 252 HP, 129 Def, 129 Atk
Cosmic Power
Rapid Spin
Explosion
Earthquake
Tankspinner (?)
The only tiny problem I have with this set is Skarm. Resistant to Explosion, ontouched by EQ. This, however, in unavoidable, but something to think about when you use this.
Cacturne @ Leftovers, Sand Veil
Relaxed/Sassy, 252 Def, 129 Sp. Def, 129 HP
Leech Seed
Sandstorm
Ingrain
Toxic
Toxi-Drainer (?)
With Cacturne? No, it doesn't have the defenses. If you're looking for a toxi-drainer, Ludicolo might work. However, if you want Cacturne, your only hope is to BP speed onto it, or have Sandstorm already out. If you want Ludicolo:
Ludicolo@lefties
Bold, 252 HP, 129 Def, 129 Sp Def
Leech Seed
Giga Drain
Toxic
Substitute
Sceptile @ Choice Band/Muscle Band, Overgrow
Adamant Jolly, 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Leaf Blade
Crunch
Rock Slide/Dragon Claw
X-Scissor
Physical Sweeper
Finally, at least a decent set for this thing in 4th gen. Replace X-Scissor with EQ, and go with Rock Slide to a bit more to skarm, Crunch for Bronzong, or Dragon Claw for Breloom.
If someone would take up commenting on my rates, I would be much obliged.

No...Power Herb means that you can use
a over-powered
Blast Burn/Hydro Cannon/Frenzy Plant/Hyper Beam/Giga Impact...
without the "must recharge" turn...
Right?

I checked on Bulbapedia. They have a offical statement fo it, this has happened so often. It allows you to use up the herb to skip the turn charging that is one of solarbeam's downfalls, the pther being that a sunny day to avoid this also gives the game away.

Can someone please rate my team for me?
Lucario@Choice Scarf. Modest
252 Sp Atk, 252 Spd, 4hp
Aura Sphere
Dragon Pulse
Dark Pulse
Flash Cannon
Palcity! Very Happy
Let's see... Lucario choice scarf as starter is
pretty unusual, but a good idea, he hits 418 speed. Psychic over Flash cannon though.
Infernape@Life Orb. Adamant
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4hp
Close Combat
Fire Punch
ThunderPunch
Grass Knot
Mostly Physical sweeper. Grass Knot is there for those pesky water/ground types. Swampert, Quagsire, etc.
Infernape is fairly fragile, especially if that huge power is hitting back for 1/3, so you may want expert belt instead. In that case,
run close combat/flare blitz/thunderpunch/swords dance. (Stone edge also works in place of thunderpunch.)
Go jolly with 24 Hp/252 Atk/232 speed, since orb/belt provides extra power. Use grass knot in place of thunderpunch if you're really
that afraid of bulky waters.
Starmie@Choice Specs. Modest
252Sp. Atk, 252Spd, 4HP
Thunderbolt
Psychic
Surf
Ice Beam
Choice Specs Starmie
Another sweeper? I would go for spinner here, since you'll be switching around a lot to get past walls/sponges.
Even though stealth rock deals only a little to Lucario, it damages Infernape significantly, especially since he's hurting himself.
Spinner is Timid @Lefties with surf, ice beam, recover, and rapid spin; 172 HP 120 SpA 216 speed.
Electivire@Muscle Band. Adamant
252Atk, 252Spd, 4Hp
ThunderPunch
Ice Punch
Brick Break
Earthquake
Physical Sweeper. Couldnt get Cross Chop on him so i settled for Brick Break
Aaahhh! another sweeper! I could see you using him since Infernape dies fast especially if you're using life orb, though.
Low kick works well, if you choose not to put Grass Knot on Infernape, instead of Brick Break. Otherwise fine.
Skarmory@Jolly (help? Leftovers?)
252Speed, 129 Def, 129Sp.Def
Toxic
Spikes
Roar/Whirlwind
Drill Peck
Toxi-Spikes-Shuffler-PseudoHazer
Stealth Rock > Toxic. One of the two spikes moves should be Roost instead.
Also, Skarmory should be Impish with 252 Hp, 96 Atk, 156 Def, 4 Speed. Shed shell
What would be a good 6th member to compliment the Skarmory?
A good sixth member would be one who can toxic, if you want to go that route. Otherwise, more bulky pokemon,
like bulky Gyarados, or even a tank like Bronzong would work. Gyarados might be good, just for additional potential to set up Motor Drive.
EDIT: Sorry about color, i re-read the rules and noticed that.
Overall, a good team. Can defnitely hit hard and fast, for lots of damage.

I'm so confused, but I'm using the list from page 27, don't hate me if you're before that >.>dnade wrote: Rate PLease :
Gallade @ Leftovers WTF? No. With your diversity, definitely expert belt
Jolly , Steadfast
Psycho Cut
BBreak I prefer Close Combat, but whatever
Stone Edge
Night Slash
( Physical Sweeper, i know SDance is standard but i want to cover up the weaknesses)
SD is standard? Anyway, there are more uses for Gallade. If you want a choice scarfer, make it Adamant. Otherwise, moveset looks good.
Cacturne @ Leftovers
Mild,Sand Veil
Ingrain
GigaDrain
Leech Seed
Spikes
(Drainer , I put it over Breloom as all but 1 of its weaknesses are covered by Gallade,as well as usefulness)
What is up with the drainer Cacturnes? He doesn't have the defenses. At all.
My vote still goes to this baby:
Ludicolo@lefties
Bold, 252 HP, 129 Def, 129 Sp Def
Leech Seed
Giga Drain
Toxic
Substitute
Your call, though. Ingrain isn't great, because they can switch to Salamence and DD up. What then?
Luxray @ Icicle Plate Not even close. If you want this poke, Expert belt again.
Adamant,Intimidate
Thunder Fang
IceFang
Fire Fang EQ
IronTail/Crunch/Toxic/ThunderWave
(Elemental Physical Sweep, And whatever u call using toxic or thunderwave)
Luxray isn't the best for this set. It would work much better on good old Electivire, Ice punch, Thunder punch, EQ, cross chop. If you want Electivire, make him Jolly with 252 Att, 252 Spd. Same item.
If need be, suggest any other pokemon that may replace the few i have in the team.
I already suggested things to replace the latter two with. I would suggest two tanks to follow this up, how about Skarm and Umbreon? Finally, you need a special sweeper in there. Since you have type diversity everywhere, raw power should work. Alakazam or Porygon-Z would fit perfectly with this team.
Note to everyone: I will TRY to make at least a daily rate to get rid of some of the mess. PM Peanut Lover if you are on page 26 or before so your team will still get rated.
#2!

Please, for the sake of your forum membership, Ease on the flames, and for the sake of everyone not thinking your a iliterate fool, Use your ! & ? & * in the correct places with REASONALE spelling. People respect it for you opposed to what you explain as Lazyness.

Firestarter has been busy, for a long time.
It took well over 2 weeks. Please be patient.
Da best:
1.) No need to flame
2.) We have the right to deny a rate to anyone, for any reason. Be happy you got one, and that quickly.
3.) You need to understand - the worse your grammar, the more unhappy we raters will be, the longer it takes, the more some raters regret their service.
4.) In the first post, I BELIEVE it talks about what grammar to put it in - we aren't your English teachers, nitpicking at the English. At the same time, we'd like to be able to comprehend your spelling and grammar. don't type like you talk to your friends, or light speed typing chat rooms.
/end discussion.
All other teams are dropped. Any questions, pm me (first), or a rater (if they understand my system - I sometimes don't do things in the most organized fashion).
It only took 32 DAYS! *confetti*
Pigeon wrote: Okay, this isn't my "team" really, but I just want my possible Dialga moveset rated, because I have my Diamond version saved right in front of Dialga so I can catch him and trade him to Pearl.
 @ ?
Pressure, Modest
252 SA, 129 DEF, 129 Sp. DEF
Aura Sphere
Earth Power
Flash Cannon
Dragon Pulse/Draco Meteor
Special Sweeper.
Please tell me if the EVs sound good, because I've never EV trained before, but I'm definitely going to start.
Dragon. Steel. Sky high defenses. Base 100 HP. Dialga works as a good tank. More importantly, it works in uber because it can take plenty of good hits. Seeing as you have Palkia (better special attacker, InMyOpinion, as it gets STAB on essential types (Water, as opposed to Steel)), consider Dialga as physical. While the special attack is better. consider the superior defense, and (after boosts) attack. Bulk Up, Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Rock Slide. Or, leave it as it does best - no bulk Up, pretty purely special. Thunder, Ice Beam, Aura bomb, Draco Meteor. @LEftovers. Get the HP to 401, first, then max out the Special attack. and Def.
...Also while we're at it...
 @ Damp Rock
Hydration, Timid
252 SPD, 252 Sp. ATK, 6 HP
Water Pulse/Surf
Psychic
Rain Dance
Rest
I was originally going to have Ice Beam instead of Psychic, but this way he can deal with other water types as well. The Damp Rock will make Rain Dance last longer, but I'm not quite sure if I want it to in case I have to switch, especially to some one who is weak against water/uses fire moves.
Your help is greatly appreciated!
See, this is where you should have Kyogre of your own. Or throw it on Palkia, but I'lll get to that later. Anyway, Tail Glow > Rain Dance, Surf > Water Pulse (lol, confusion).
...Also, here's my idea for my Palkia:
 @ ?
Pressure, Timid
252 SP, 252 Sp. ATK, 6 DEF
Earth Power
Spacial Rend
Surf
Aura Sphere
Rain Dance > Earth Power. @Leftovers.
Things to think about:
~Thunder - Kyogre is one of the premier uber, starting to surpass Lugia. Which means rain and Thunder
~Ice Beam - Lati@s, Lugia, Groudon, Rayquaza, no Shedinja (with spikes/toxic/etc being common). Maggie's only a slight problem. You wonder why this is so common?
~Aura Sphere - T-tar. Blissey. Magneton. Not as many as in normal, but you still hit a fair amount.
~Earth Power - almost as powerful as EQ. Why isn't it useful? It hits just a few - Magneton and Metagross.
~Flash Cannon - 120 after STAB, and worse coverage than fighting. Why use it? You will get more out of super effective ice beams and thunder(bolt)s (190 and 240, respectively). Aura Sphere does better (180).
~Draco Meteor - Can you say MEGA DAMAGE? 210 after STAB. No resists (ZOMG, a metagross/magneton? 1-2HKOs anyway). Several are weak. Consider it.
There is so much you could do with this uber team, the premier of which is having a Kygre, throwing in blissey, and throwing in Forretress (spin and spike). PM me for help - this team varies so much, as this is just the tip of the iceberg
