Looks good, maybe @Shell bell because of Swords Dance? You won't really need the extra boost after that...
@ choice band : adamant nature : solid rock
252atk 129hp 129 def
eathquake
stone edge
megahorn
avalanche
I guess it could work, but move the defense EV's to special defense. Remember, with sandstorm out you get 1.5x Sp Def, and Rhyperior really needs it. Although it could work, I wouldn't recommend Choice Band, if you make it more of a sandstorm-tank it would be a beast.
 @;leftovers : lonely nature : sand stream
252 atk 252 spd 6hp

thunder fang
Very important, make sure you open with TTar. Jolly for nature, and replace Thunder Fang with Stone Edge or Rock Slide.
 @life orb : adamant nature
252 atk 252hp 252 atk, 129 spd, 129 hp
earthquake

agility
explosion
Looks OK, but consider the fact that you get completely walled by Bronzong and Skarmory.
 @smooth rock: ???? nature Careful
sandstorm (in case tyrantitars gets overwritten and he dies)
stealth rock
explosion
earthquake
I guess it's alright, watch out for special. Steel types don't get the Sp Def boost, only rocks do.
{ramphardos}(sp?)@ choice scarf: jolly nature
zen headbutt
stone edge
???
???
I see what you're going for, but it gets outsped by too much. Consider:
Rampardos@Shell Bell
Jolly, 252 spd, 252 Att, 6 HP
Rock Polish
Head Smash/Rock Slide
Zen Headbutt
Earthquake
With this, you can outspeed anything unboosted, and most choice scarfers. As long as you can survive the first hit (preferably with Sandstorm still out), you can destroy teams with this.
thnx in advance
Again, start with TTar and Rock types get a 1.5x boost to their special defense.

bluestrike wrote: This is a 3rd Gen team, that I want to be adapted for 4th Gen Battles. Please help me out with this.
I do not mind about Natures normally, as it is only 10%, and these are for casual battles.
Same goes for EVs, although I normally get 100 for the stats I want through vitamins.
I need suggestions for Items though, if you could help with that I would appreciate it.
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Earthquake
-Rest
hmm... due to the attack changes in DP, swampert deals primarily as a physical sweeper now. waterfall>surf and avalanche>ice beam. curse should replace rest but if u dont feel like breeding, then rest is OK but not recommended.
-Psychic
-Thunderbolt
-Will-o-Wisp
-Calm Mind
gardevoir has pretty low speed for a sweeper and if u do get a WoW in, it probably cant survive a couple atks to calm mind and sweep. shadow ball>WoW and leave CM alone or replace it with energy ball? so u can put specs on it to make up for its speed
 I dislike CB.
-Earthquake
-Meteor Mash
-Rock Slide
-Agility/Swords Dance
no need for CB since u have agility/SDance in the 4th spot. if this is emerald, then try to teach it an elemental punch (preferably ice) and replace it with rock slide. go with agility btw
-Swords Dance
-Endure
-Reversal
-Megahorn
endure/reversal combo has alot of counters in DP now (a lot of priority moves where created) so u might just have to abandon it. brick break>reversal and rock slide/stone edge>endure to hit flying types
-Crunch
-Flamethrower
-Sunny Day
-Solarbeam
just make sure u survive to get a sunny day in... and dark pulse>crunch so it's a spec. sweeper
-Heal Bell
-Milk Drink
-Body Slam
-Shadow Ball
u should really restart this one to get scrappy, which makes norms/fighting atks hit ghosts. shadow ball is spec. now so replace it with a brick break and return>body slam. but for this to work, scrappy is needed
I dunno if this is a good team overall. If there are any really big flaws please point them out and suggest a change.
to me it is actually well-rounded but u would want a real (not gardevoir) spec. sweeper. a boltbeamer is best here, maybe a porygon-Z or another popular spec. sweeper is togekiss
phew... glad i got that one over with

Darkwarlock999 wrote: I am entering a series of online gyms. The Gyms are Dark, Electric, Ghost, Ice, Normal, Poison, Steel, Flying. 4 of the Pokemon the leader uses has to be that type, others can be anything. Here is my team. They are Ev-trainer, but I can't remember so I shall just put their stats:
Metagross @ Quick Claw. Clear Body
Adamant
Stats:
Hp: 315, Atk: 352, Def: 268, Sp. Atk: 178, Sp. Def: 188, Spd: 190
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
Brick Break
Explosion
@leftovers(or life orb?)/choice scarf(CScarf not so recommended, since u wanna explode when u actually want to) maybe agility can go in somewhere... maybe over brick break and @leftovers
Fighting his way through as many foes as possible, Metagross will then explode for a 1-Hit KO.
Houndoom @ Power Herb/Heat Rock. Flash Fire
Modest
Stats:
Hp: 263, Atk: 169, Def: 108, Sp. Atk: 320, Sp. Def: 168, Spd: 261
Flamethrower
Solarbeam
Dark Pulse
Sunny Day
A basic special sweeper with good STABs, the trouble is choosing items. Heat Rock means longer Sunny Day, but Power Herb means I can let off a Solarbeam quickly without the giveaway of Sunny Day.
having power herb means u should abandon sunny day basically. i am not fond of houndooms at all but if u really want this set, then leave as is. houndoom is not surviving after sunny day ends so ditch heat rock. lefties again?
Starmie @ Focus Band. Illuminate
Modest
Stats:
Hp: 261, Atk: 167, Def: 206, Sp. Atk: 328, Sp. Def: 206, Spd: 329
Recover
Surf
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Standard special sweeper.
no focus band, and illuminate??? err... rapid spin>recover since u dont have a spinner on ur team (skarms in that steel gym rite?) recover is only for aesthetic purposes and doesnt back up its low defences much. otherwise, looks good
Salamence @ Focus Sash. Intimidate
Adamant
Stats:
Hp: 394, Atk: 405, Def: 196, Sp. Atk: 230, Sp. Def: 196, Spd: 236
DragonClaw
Earthquake
Ariel Ace
Roost
Says it all.
i dun think it needs focus sash (pretty random too -_-) and stone edge/rock slide>roost (its supposed to sweep, not take hits) and arial ace is for stab so i guess it can stay but crunch/fire fang is recommended. @choice specs (since it cross-demands adamant)
Tyranitar @ Focus Band. Sand Stream
Adamant
Stats:
Hp: 355, Atk: 303, Def: 270, Sp. Atk: 178, Sp. Def: 250, Spd: 130
Earthquake
Stone Edge/Rock Slide
Dragon Dance
Taunt
Physical sweeper to the core, Taunt is to stop Whirlwinds, Will-o-Wisps and such. After this is withdrawn, the idea is to put Metagross in, who doesn’t care, or Houndoom, to Sunny Day the sandstorm away.
crunch should go in sumwhere for stab, maybe over taunt (i kno... hard decision for u)
Gengar @ Big Root. Levitate
Modest
Stats:
Hp: 261, Atk: 149, Def: 156, Sp. Atk: 394, Sp. Def: 186, Spd: 319
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Giga Drain
Sludge Bomb
Another sweeper.
wheres shadow ball T.T put that over psychic. @choice scarf/specs
If you can give suggestions for types, stratergy (i.e. replace a sweeper with a tank). I do have, in paticular, a Modest Milotic with Ice Beam, Surf, Recover and Substitute, for tanking purposes. I need the reply soon.
i am a huge fan of bulky waters =) so if u want the milotic, put it over houndoom (not a fan of it) and rest>recover to remove status and put marvel scale to good use.

If you think I've misunderstood your strategy here I apologise and please pm so that I can correct it.
SkyBlitz wrote: Froslass(Timid)+Lefties
252 Spd, 252 SA, 4 HP
Hail
Blizzard
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Ok, Froslass doesn't have a very high Sp. Def and Def, so I woluldn't waste a turn to use Hail eventhough it boosts Blizzard's accuracy. Try this instead, teach Froslass Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt and Destiny Bond. This way, you can make full use of Froslass's high speed to take out a foe in two hits. After taking out that Pokemon your Froslass should be nearing fainting so just Destiny Bond the next pokemon and you would have KOed 2 Pokemon with just 1.
Starmie(Timid)+Lum/Salac
Not sure what the EV spread should be, seeing as it's a CP/Recoverer with two attacking moves.
Recover
Cosmic Power
Surf
Ice Beam/Thunderbolt/Psychic
A good tanker moveset you have there, I'm using a similar kind of Starmie and I maxed out its Hp and Spd EVs. (Since you already have Cosmic Power, and Starmie already has higher than average Sp. Def and Def, so maxing out its low Hp would be better.) Also, you'll want to use Cosmic Power before the foe attacks your Starmie, so maxing out its Speed would be a priority.)
Garchomp(Jolly)+CB?
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
Earthquake
Dragon Claw
Fire Fang
??? (Crunch/Brick Break?)
Actually, I've always thought that you should teach Swords Dance to a Physical Sweeper so go without the Crunch/Brick Break and teach it Swords Dance. (Trust me, Garchomp is 1 of the best Pokemon to teach Swords Dance, it becomes a nightmare with just 1 Swords Dance used.)
Tyranitar(Adamant)+Lefties
252 Atk, 252 Def/Spd, 4 Hp
Dragon Dance
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Thunder/Fire/Ice Fang
I know that Tyranitar is weak against Water types but I strongly advise against Thunder if you're playing it as a Physical Sweeper. Also, did you forget that Thunder's accuracy is only 50% in a sandstorm?Rest & Chesto berry combo can also be an alternative to Fire/Ice Fang. (This way, you can Dragon Dance more...)
Sceptile(Timid)+Lum
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
Dragon Claw
Leaf Blade
Swords Dance
X-Scissor
The moveset is great for a Physical Sweeper but there's a big flaw here.
You are not teaching any Special Moves right? So what's the point of contradicting your Physical Sweeper combo with a Timid nature? Get an Adamant/Jolly 1, it will serve you much better.
Regirock(Adamant)+Lefties
252 Atk, 252 Def, 4 HP
Curse
Explosion
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Since Regirock is slow (Which means it will most likely get hit first.) I suggest you do away with Explosion and use the Rest + Chesto Berry combo. This way, you can Curse more, which means you can dish out alot more Damage after 2 or 3 Curses.

i'm so bad when it comes to making teams, ugh.
i haven't even begun to figure out items or evs, since i don't know if i like this team or not, so you don't need to bother with rating that part of it if it's too much trouble.

i'm thinking switching to a baton passer with calm mind for milotic, but i needed a grass move in there somewhere, ugh. i guess i could use leafeon for armaldo, and possibly remove swords dance in favor of another attack move.

 @ Life Orb/Choice Band/Shell Bell
Adamant | Sand Stream
252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 HP
-Dragon Dance
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Crunch
Physical Sweeper
If you're teaching Dragon Dance, I suggest you do away with the Choice Band and give it a Leftovers instead. Other than that, an overall powerful sweeper.
@ Focus Sash/Leftovers/Flame Orb (to activate ability) ??
Bold | Marvel Scale
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SAtk
-Hypnosis
-Ice Beam
-Recover
-Surf
Tank?
If you're playing it as a tank, you should cover up for its weakness against Electric & Grass type Special moves by maxing out its Sp. Def. (The most common type of Electric & Grass type moves used in battles are Special based, etc: Thunderbolt, Thunder, Solarbeam, Energy Ball, Grass Knot.)
So max 200 EVs in its Sp. Def instead of Def as you already have the Flame Orb to boost its Def. But still, I guess Leftovers should be a better item for Milotic.
 @ Leftovers
Bold | Synchronize
252 HP / 129 Def / 129 Sp Def
-Toxic
-Baton Pass
-Mean Look
-Monlight
Toxi-Trapper
I don't think Mean Look is necessary, (Normally, people won't switch out their Pokemon because if you think carefully, you waste a turn just by switching out a Pokemon, so if the Pokemon that the opponent switched out gets KOed during that wasted turn, he/she would have incurred a double loss, that is, 1 Fainted Pokemon & 1 Badly Poisoned Pokemon.) so swap that with wish and you'll have a healer in the team. Also, you would want to replace Moonlight with Double Team, this way Umbreon would become a very good support Pokemon.
If you don't understand what I'm trying to say here please pm.
 @ Leftovers/Shell Bell
Impish | Pressure
252 HP / 129 Atk / 129 Sp Def
-Brick Break
-Thunder Punch
-Will-O-Wisp
-Pain Split
Tank
Basically, I think this build is fine although it might be weak against Special Sweepers. Oh, and Shadow instead of Thunder Punch would allow you at least a normal hit to all Pokemon. Of course, if you're teaching that so that it can counter Water and Flying types that's fine too.
 @ ??
Adamant | Clear Body
252 HP / 129 Atk / 129 Sp. Def
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake
-Explosion
-Zen Headbutt
Physical sweeper/Tank?
I would disagree with the Tanker part, so just max out 252 EVs in its Atk & Spd. Also because Explosion would work better with a Speedy Metagross.
 @ Choice Specs
Timid | Adaptability
252 Sp Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt
-Try Attack
-Ice Beam
Special Sweeper
Replace Shadow Ball with Nasty Plot and you will see how destructive Porygon-Z can get. (With 1 Nasty Plot and your Porygon-Z's Adaptability, your Tri Attack will be able to KO many Pokemon in 1 hit.) In this case, you'll have to remove Choice Specs and give it a Leftovers instead.
This is my first competitive team, so i'm not too sure if the combonations of these PKMN is good. Please help!

Stealth Rock
EQ
Ice Fang
Roost
Physical Sponge
i would've put EVs in speed and u-turn>ice fang so u can outspd an ice beam and escape from it as well. otherwise, its good.
Blissey@Lefties
Bold 162 HP, 252 Def, 96 SpDef
Aromatherapy

Spiritomb@Lefties
Bold 200 HP, 110 Def, 200 SpDef
Will-o-wisp
Nasty Plot
Dark Pulse
Pain Split
Wall, SpAtk Killer
not much to say here either. i'd say calm mind>nasty plot since u can power up ur STABed dark pulse and up ur sp.Def as well. that way, u can also put sum more EVs into def.
Dusknoir@Lefties
Careful 252 HP, 76 Def, 180 SpDef
Shadow Sneak
Ice Punch
Will-o-wisp
Pain Split
Anti Spinner, Atk Killer
wats up with all these tanks >.> dusknoir (IMO) is just a much better version of spiritomb.
Infernape@Expert Belt
Jolly 6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
Thunder Punch
Fire Punch
Grass Knot
Close Combat
Physical Sweeper
a suicidal move (close combat) deserves life orb. i also know ur wary of waters (grass knot) but it just wun do much against lets say, a milotic (jolly+no spAtk EVs=garbage spAtk) and if u took the time to breed in fire punch, i dun c y u couldnt have bred blaze kick instead. blaze kick/flare blitz>fire punch and rock slide/stone edge>grass knot.
Swampert@Lefties
Brave 108 HP, 96 Atk, 96 Def, 136 SpAtk, 72 SpDef
Surf
Ice Beam
EQ
Rest
Mixed Sweeper (Rids of Skarms, Forretresses, and other sponges)
how does it rid of skarms -_- (surf/ice beam isnt gonna 1HKO it b4 it roars u away) i see that u r full of physical sweepers but swampert can do so much better at being physical now. waterfall>surf and avalanche>ice beam. u could also run curse instead of rest, but if not its OK.
Basically the only aim of my team is to be able to take hits while killing others. The only weakness is the BP'ers. I wasn't able to include phazers on this one. Please do comment on this.
ur weakness is also spiker/SR rapists. for a spinner/spec. sweeper combo, go with starmie. timid@life orb/lefties: T-bolt, ice beam, surf, rapid spin
Thanks in advance

Infenape @ King's Rock, Blaze
Modest

Close Combat

Blast Burn
since u have a modest infernape (finally an OK nature) ditch close combat for HP fighting/focus blast? and blast burn needs to go. the special moveset for infernape is really shallow so i cant even think up of a move at the moment. @lefties again. u can try to run an adamant one and give it EQ/swords dance/flare blitz/blaze kick/stone edge/rock slide, etc... get where im going here? (get a physical one)
ur also full of sweepers so u need some tanks/sponges (dusknoir, umbreon for wish-passing, skarm are possible choices) or a baton passer is really good here if u really want a sweeping team (ninjask )

for sum reason, everyx i preview the post, the zangoose moveset doesnt appear O_o wierd.

Naughty is a no can do, you're not teaching any special moves right? So what's the point of getting a Naughty one? Get an Adamant/Jolly one, it will be a lot better. Also, depending on situations, you might want to switch Brick Break with Crunch/Rockslide.
Kingdra-Modest Nature-Item-Choice Specs
Ability-Sniper
Ice beam
Dragon Pulse
Surf
Flash Cannon
Evs-252 Sp atk 125 def 125sp def
In my opinion, Signal Beam would be a much better move for Kingdra but if you don't feel like breeding a new one then just stick with Flash Cannon. Also, if you're giving it a Choice Specs, you would want to ensure that your Kingdra gets the first hit most of the time so max out 252 EVs into its Speed rather then into its Def & Sp. Def.
Latios-Calm Nature-Item-Wise Glasses
Dragon Pulse
Calm Mind
Psychic
Recover
EVs-252 Sp atk 252 speed 6 hp
One very important thing you missed out, Latios is considered an Uber when you give it a Soul dew but if you don't have a Soul Dew then I suggest you give it Lum berry. Also, you'll want to max out its natural Special Sweeper capabilities by getting a Timid/Modest one and if you want to counter more types then you should teach it Surf/Thunderbolt.
Other than that, an overall good moveset for a Latios.
Dragonite-Nature-Naughty Item-Persim berry
Outrage
Dragon dance
Aerial ace
Roost
EVs-252 atk 252 speed 6 hp
Basically, I don't really like the Outrage + Persim Berry combo cos it's so very easily countered. So teach these instead: Dragon Dance, Fly (Cos its power is now 90.), Earthquake and Aqua Tail. This way, you'll be able to hit every single Pokemon in the game for at least Neutral Damage. Also, do change that nature into Jolly/Adamant and an item like a Yache Berry will work wonders with Dragonite cos people will be blasting it with Ice Type moves.
Shiny Gyarados-Jolly Nature- No item
Ice fang
Stone edge
aqua tail
Dragon dance
EVs-252 atk 252 speed 6 hp
Ok, in my opinion, between Earthquake and Stone Edge, Earthquake would make a better choice for Gyrados. An item like a Wacan Berry will work wonders with Gyarados cos many people will be blasting its quad weakness with Electric Attacks.
Charizard-Modest Nature-No item
Dragon Pulse
Flamethrower
Air Slash
Roost
Evs-252 Sp atk 252 speed 6 hp
A nice Special Sweeper you have there, I have no comment with the moves and I would suggest a King's Rock/Charti Berry/Passho Berry/Wacan Berry for an item.

A sweeper every team need one has a priority changed move,

opinion...
He is indeed a good starter, but I suggest you do away with Stone Edge (I think an accuracy of 80 may be a little too risky.) and teach Blaze Kick (Breed with Hitmonlee) instead cos Sweepers often cannot afford to miss (You may not realise it now, but when your Lucario misses at the wrong time you will be hopping mad.) as they can't tank damage. Also, Lucario should be fast enough to go first in many situations so do away with Bullet Punch and teach Swords Dance instead and you would have one Super Sweeper.
 @Choice Band
Brave
Ev:Att & HP Max
Ability:Immunity
-Return

Choice Band,Return for stab,EQ ,Thunder Punch for Skarm/

(See if you can survive a
Choice-Stabed-350Att-200Base damage attack...i guess not)
Basically, I think if you're going to abuse TR, then I guess it won't hurt to use the Belly Drum + Rest + Chesto Berry combo. For Snorlax I suggest you teach Ice Punch and Earthquake/Thunder Punch in addition to Belly Drum & Rest cos you'll be able to counter more types. For this case, you'll have to give it a Leftovers instead of a Choice Band and in my opinion, Thick Fat would be better than Immunity cos it gives you resistances against 2 very commonly used types of moves, Fire & Ice. Of course, this is only a suggestion so if you feel like using Snorlax for the Self-Destruct then that's fine too. (I know how well that Choice Band + Self-Destruct combo works cos I've tried it before.)

-Trick Room
I need some fire resistence(2 Steels) and another TRer the
only good non-uber choice i found...Slow(king)(bro)!
Again, I'm not the kind who likes to take chances so I think your Slowking/bro would be better off with Psychic rather than Focus Blast cos Focus Blast has such a low accuracy.
 @Soul Dew/White Herb *Shiny*
Timid
Ev:S.Att & Speed Max
Ability:Levitate
-Draco Meteor
-Shadow Ball
-Energy Ball
-Thunderbolt
Now my special little dragon girl...
Man i can tell'ya she is nasty one...
Don't mess with her or you might get hurt...
I agree with the part that she is nasty and I'll have you know this, there is no other item that holds greater priority than a Soul Dew for the Dragon twins. There is of course, the exception of battles in the Battle Tower, where the Soul Dew is useless. Ok, basically I think if you want to counter as many types as possible then I suggest this moveset: Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Surf and Psychic/Shadow Ball/Dragon Pulse. Also, I know how tempting it is to use the Draco Meteor + White Herb combo but trust me, the moveset I suggested is far better for Latias.
The Idea is use trick room And Attack first using slower pokes...
Nothing very hard..
In that case, I suppose you'll have to make sure that your Lucario and Latias goes first if not they will be badly affected by TR as they are Sweepers.

Ok! Another team. This is only for casual battles with friends, so i dont think i need a rapidspinner/baton passer etc.

My fourth move is my problem here. Ground + Ice only has 4 resists, so maybe a third attacking move is not essential.

I need a sixth, and I am very unsure about Umbreon. I liek SkarmBliss, and i quite want a wisher, but I really dont know. Your thoughts?

infernape (or soon to be) has a lonely nature, which is useless unless u try to make it a mixed sweeper. to take the most out of the nature:

I can see what you're trying to get at here but I've one combo here that you'll love for sure: Swords Dance, Endure, Reversal and Night Slash.
1) You'll never have to fear any Type..you'll hit all Pokemon in the game for at least Neutral Damage.
2) They either get blasted by reversal or they get hit by a Powered Up Night Slash (That is, if they're resistant against Fightning Types, otherwise, do use Reversal.) cos you'll most likely have Swords Danced before. And, good news, 2 of the types whom Fighting types moves are weak at are the Ghost and Psychic types. Your Night Slash will cut through them like a Hot Knife through Butter.
3) Lastly, you must give it a Salac Berry in order for this combo to work at its fullest and make sure you max out its Speed by Hook or by Crook.
Electivire
Jolly
Motor Drive
Thunder Punch
Brick Break
Fire Punch
Ice Punch
Hhmmm..a nice moveset, but I think Cross Chop works better than Brick Break. Of course, if you don't want to go through the trouble of breeding a new one and all that stuff then I understand.
Garchomp
Adamant
Sand Veil
Fire Blast
Sword Dance
Earthquake
Dragon Claw
At last, I see someone who knows how well Swords Dance works with Garchomp...but one problem, never teach Special Moves to Physical Sweepers...that's what I always think. Do replace that with Crunch/Rockslide/Fire Fang, it works so much better.
Darkrai
Timid
Bad Dreams
Thunderbolt
Psychic
Dark Void
Dark Pulse
Darkrai became one of the Pokemon at the top of my list when I found out how Evil it can get. My combo is similar to yours, but I taught Double Team instead of Psychic as it works hand in hand with his Dark Void. Just put the foe to sleep and Double Team away. of course, you'll need a leftovers for this combo and you can always swap Dark Pulse for Ice Beam when necessary. Honestly, this combo is unstoppable...
Spirtomb
Bold
Pressure
Psychic
Nasty Plot
Shadow Ball
Dark Pulse
Not bad, except maybe you can teach WOW instead of Shadow Ball cos you already have Dark Pulse, and do remember to give it a Quick Claw...its speed really fails it.
Manaphy
Modest
Hydration
Surf
Icebeam
Tail Glow
Energy Ball
Overall ok, but I think Shadow Ball would be better than Energy Ball. (Surf already takes care of Rock & Ground types, which means you'll only be countering Water type Pokemon with that move. So switch to shadow ball and you can counter many other Pokemon, like Mewtwo for an Example.
Yeah this time I spelled with correct english since we in school LOL

I am trying to base my team around Pokemon I like rather than powerful ones, so here's some ideas I have. I can't decide which six or three are my favorites, so I'm planning to just raise a bunch I like, and swap them out as I see fit.
I haven't fully raised this team yet or used the TMs, so I still have time to change strategies if I must.
Edit: I am editing my own post as I come up with my own ideas to improve my team. My current idea is to have fewer Pokemon use weather moves, ie, have just Sunny Day and Hail rather than SD, Hail, SS, and RD. That way I waste fewer rounds adjusting the weather.
 @Wide Lens (f)
Will-O-Wisp
Fire Fang
Protect
Iron Tail.
My favorite Pokemon, so I choose her despite how weak she is. The Wide Lens is because her two best moves (Will-O-Wisp and Fire Fang) both miss too often to be reliable. I really don't know what else to do with her as she lacks the staying power to be a Toxic killer and Fire Spin no longer prevents enemies from attacking.
Edit: But with the Wide Lens, Iron Tail might actually hit... maybe. Still undependable, but if Flareon gets forced against a rock type it gives her a chance.
 @Lum Berry (m)
Surf
Acid Armor
Aqua Ring
Baton Pass
Typical Baton Pass strategy I suppose. I pretty much have him to pump up his defense, use Aqua Ring, and pass it off to another Pokemon that could benefit from it (namely Leafeon or Flareon, but whomever...)
 @Leftovers (m)
Sunny Day
Synthesis
Leaf Blade
Fourth move...?
My 'tank', I guess. His job is pretty much to try to outlive enemies, especially given my team's tendency toward status effects. Perhaps I'll give him Toxic? Or maybe another strong move to take advantage of his high attack power.
Edit: Looking at his stats more closely, and realizing how weak grass is to so many types, I don't plan to use Leafeon fully as a tank. More like a physical sweeper with just an unusually high defense. Toxic still seems like the most viable fourth move, giving me a slight chance against all but steel types. If only Vaporeon could learn Water Sport...
 @??? (f)
Sleep Powder
Dream Eater
Whirlwind
Bug Buzz
Sleep Powder is usually 75% accurate, but with Butterfree's Compound Eyes it should hit nearly 100% of the time. Dream Eater and Bug Buzz take advantage of her high special attack while at the same time restoring her HP based on the damage she does... maybe I should give her Big Root? Or maybe replace Bug Buzz with Giga Drain? Whirlwind is of course for pseudo-hazing, annoying enemies, or getting rid of unfavorable type matchups.
 @??? (m)
Hail
Blizzard
Haze
Shadow Ball
The last move I am unsure of. Possibly Water Pulse in case he gets stuck against a fire type, since it will have the triple benefit of working with his special attack rating, being super effective, ad perhaps confusing.
Edit: To take care of Pokemon that ice doesn't work against, Shadow Ball will use Glaceon's special attack to his advantage. It also gives my team a little extra anti-psychic/ghost.
 @Focus Band (?)
Endeavor
Aerial Ace
Close Combat
Double Team
I chose Aerial Ace over Brave Bird because I wanted my team to have another always-hit move. Gender is a question mark because I haven't bred a good Starly yet.
 @Bright Powder? (m)
Rock Slide/Throw/whatever
Stealth Rock
Rapid Spin
Earthquake
Not really sure how much I like this. And you know, I find it pretty disappointing how few Pokemon have a way to defend themselves against spikes and traps! At any rate, Stealth Rock would make a good combo with Butterfree's strategy of nailing enemies with status afflictions and swapping them out.
Edit: Not sure about Bright Powder any more, but now using Sandslash as a spiker/sweeper rather than a sandstorm annoyer. It's better this way as it doesn't force my team to waste so many rounds changing the weather. At any rate, my Sandslash's nature and EV gives him high defense and special defense so he should be able to survive a few hits while he does his thing.
 @??? (f)
???
I have no idea. I tried using things like Me First, but it turned out to stink. She doesn't have the durability to be a Baton Passer, and rarely even lives long enough to use Foresight. Her special attack is HORRENDOUS, so she can't use any special moves really. So far the only thing I do is pretty much have her use Return over and over. It at least does good damage... but I have no idea how to use a Furret. I think I'd stick U-turn on there too, maybe... *sigh*
Apologies and thanks to those who read this post. I am sorry to be another n00b n00bing up the forum. Neutral
