I am now banning anyone who makes a new account and donates Psybucks to themselves. I am completely out of sympathy for these idiots. I changed five ranks this week already, including one to Fails at Life because of it.

There will be no more warnings.
There will be no more pity or sympathy.
There will be no more excuses for stupidity and not being able to follow the rules.
There will be no more probation rank, and the ones currently serving probation for abusing this system will have that rank for a very long time.
And there will be no more creating alternate accounts to get past this probation, because from now on, you'll be permanently IP banned.

I'm going to assume by that you mean that there won't be probation for Psybuck abusers, but there will still be normal probation for breaking of other forum rules?

Probabtion is used before banning for the less pronounced crimes - like spamming. That can sometimes be subjective and circumstantial.

Yes, but then they could just make a new account, but I'm just going to assume you meant to also IP ban them.
Deleting and IP banning them would work better than banning, as (As me and Treeckoluv experienced with our spamming friend, Tmaster) if they visited a friend's house who also goes on Psypoke and access their own account, then voila, neither of them can access the site if the person who came over got banned, wich is unfair especially if the innocent one was a mature, active and responsible member.

I think that getting rid of the probation system completely is not good, banning someone right off for making a mistake (see my first 5 posts) seems a bit......harsh.

However getting rid of the probation system in just this case I agree with, if they decline to both ignore the rules/announcements AND can't think enough to reason that donating to yourself is not allowed, they're probably n00bs.

IPs are basically your Internet identity, and it is pre-determined. It ain't like Pokemon, it doesn't change unless you contact your Internet provider and ask for a change. which then brings up that problem...

Edit: I believe you're the first grade computer dope here. An IP address is dynamically allocated by your ISP each time you log onto their services. If you disconnect then reconnect your router, and log back on, it will change. This is the norm, as many ISP support dynamic allocation. Of course, if you haven't already realised, an ISP only has a limited number of IPs they can give out, so there is a chance that you will get the same one if you log back on. You can also request for static IP address, in which case the same IP is allocated each time you log on.

what happened was my friend was not going on psypokes anymore because his computer broke and other stuff so he said i could have his psybucks so he came over to my house and used my computer to do it because his crashed.
