I need some characters for a story that I'm potentially going to write; here's the prologue to it.

Prologue: A Land of Adventure

In the beautiful land of Tohjo, long before the humans came in and settled, there lived thousands upon thousands of pokemon all across the land. 44 villages dotted Tohjo, each one named after the unique berry grown in that village.

But right in the center of Tohjo, was the largest village, so big it was, that it wasn't a village. It was a city; Diamond City. A majoity of the pokemon of Tohjo lived in this metropolis. They lived in quite an advanced civilization; rivaling the humans that they would, over time, make. In Diamond City, was the government, or the Council. the Concil consisted of 5 Pokemon elected by democracy that ruled over Tohjo.

The current 5 Council members were Alakazam, Slowking, Gardevoir, Hypno, and Xatu. They ruled peacefully and fairly without any mishaps or troubles until one day, 4 of the Council members were missing. It was later found out that a malicious evil had taken the Council members to a far corner of Tohjo; Tohjo Falls.

Xatu was the lucky one to escape from the evil, who managed to Fly away just in the nick of time. With no one in control, the Pokemon of Tohjo would live under siege. Since they had no army, it was usually the Council members, using their incredible Psychic powers, to deeat any harmful intruders, such as the Stampede of the Tyranitar (but that's another story).

Now Xatu is despreate to rescue his fellow Council members, but he cannot do it all alone. But most of the other Pokemon were to afraid to help him. Except for one. There was a Sneasel who couldn't take this sitting down. Xatu was pleased that there was someone brave enough to face this evil, but it wasn't enough.

Now Xatu and Sneasel need help, and fast. Without the Council to protect and guide the citizens of Tohjo, the evil could easily take over Tohjo; possibly even Johto and Kanto. Perhaps even Hoenn and Orre as well. Xatu and Sneasel managed to find a small, select few to participate in this quest; and they need your help too. So, are you up to the challenge?

And there it is. hopefully you've figured out by now that I need ideas for characters. If you'd like to submit one, here's what you need to do.

~List the name of the character
~List the Pokemon that the character is (Not a Legendary of course)
~Personality of the Character (Be as descriptive as possible; I cannot work with tiny scraps.)
~Brief history of the character (Not too brief)
~Make sure you PM me.
~That's about it!

I'll start writing the story when I get enough charatcers, or when the amount of requests die down. I'll start writing it then. Story line suggestions are good too.

Why don't you give pokemon nicknames instead of the pokemon names.

Character:

Character Name: Ruth (female)
Pokemon Name: Masquerain
Personality: Very serius, most likely to prefer being alone. Other pokemon name her as "Lonely Ruth"
History: While being a Surskit, it was extremely rejected and separeted from the others, and this was because it's lack of power. But once it had evolved, it had been contaminated with a strange illness that gave her permenent extreme power (you can guess?!...yes im talking about pokerus!). With it, the power to defeat its foes vengegully came. As after this, she was hated even more. Madly, it became alone, giving others the chance to call her "Lonely Ruth".

Name: Walrein
Walrein
Personality: Walrein a territorial pokemon, doesn't like sharing land, Walrein roams the Tohjo waters looking for new areas to take as territory. It doesn't like communicating.
Breif History: There have been many attempts by water pokemon to calm Walrein down, but it doesn't work. Walrein used to be happy, but now it is lonely and sad/angry.

Name: Snooze

Pokemon: Snorlax

personality: Lazy. Likes to get drunk.

History: Snoozes trainer abanoned him in the middle of a forest where he completely forgot who he is. Since then he has been searching for answers.

~Crazy. he gets into trouble almost all the time. Loves to bite things... and occasionally spray others with watergun... (not fire or ground types tho!) hes not evil... only.... naive. (compared to a human he is in his teens.)
~Lives just outside Crystal City in a swamp community. His parents are both Feraligators so he always loves to get out and have some fun. Particularly for this reason is why he joined the group .. also to show that totodiles are good for something! His parents are very strict so once he gets out he tends to wander off occasionally... but always seems to find his way back to wehre he needs to be.

( the reason i say he wanders off is because i dont know how often i will be able to stay on the thread.) like i may be gone for a day or two at a time depending

Well that was what I was going to do first, but maybe we could make it an RP instead. Depends on popular opinion though.

Three, and they're not really the sort of thing where you reach a maximum number. They're like stories- each one is different, and just because you have one it doesn't mean you don't need another.

I wouldn't mind roleplaying this, but I could see it as a good story too. I won't vote- I'm good either way.

Excuse me, Sneaky Sneasel, but do you need any more characters? Are you going to post your story here? Will it be like an RPG, with people playing with their own characters?

I agree with everything Gryph has said...

the Hobbit had 15 characters in it! on the hero side yes! 1 human wizard 1 hobbit and 13 dwarves... or maybe it was 13 but my point is that you can have alot... and all those characters played a significant role as well...
(granted tolkien is arguably the best fantasy writer ever)

also i am good any way you decide to go... i would love to read bout my totodile or help the story along myself... it is up to the creator

I think you should do it as a story, but in chapters, just a suggestion

The only only reason I'm putting up 2 options (Rp or story) is because I rarely finish stories, and honestly, I'm not too good at them either. Also, I'm afraind I might not portray your characters correctly, which could poteintally runi the entire thing. That's why I'm leaving the decision up to you guys.

if ur not good at story's,then let kryten2x4b or rubypoke or gryph do it for u!!but,i think a story is a WAY better idea than a rp

If three other writers are going to write a story, each using their own characters, then that's a roleplay.
