If you're going to hack something at least give it the right trait. You'll need to find a replacement for this if people mind fighting it. Or you can just use Shoddy.

You do know that Arceus ability is Multitype

A Froslass Bond-KO set:

Froslass/Jolly+Salac
252 Spd, 252 Attack (Intentionally 6 unused EVs)
Endure
Destiny Bond
Ice Shard
Spikes

Spiker, and when death seems close, Endure than Destiny Bond to KO the opponent as well. Shard KOs sashers and is an offensive move, though not imporatnat for the set.

Ok. I have to admit. I am new at the whole competitive-battling scene. I've managed to put some parts of a team together, but DEFENETLY need some help. Need EV's, item suggestions, and any other helpful tips too. And i'm also looking for another misc. annoyer/staller that would fit.

Rhyperior (Adamant)
-Avalanche/ Substitute (Need help deciding)
-Swords Dance
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge

Exeggutor (Modest)
-Sunny Day
-Solarbeam
-Leech Seed
-Psychic/ HP fire

Smeargle (Jolly)
-Spore
-Endure
-Endeavor
-Seismic Toss

Dusknoir (Careful)
-Pain Split
-Focus Punch
-Will-O-Wisp
-Shadow Punch

Vespiquen (Impish)
-Defend Order
-Toxic
-Attack Order
-Heal Order

???
-
-
-
-

I'm considering finding an alternative special sweeper (instead of exeggutor), or a way that I could incorporate sunny day with the rest of my team.

OTHER OPTIONS:
I'm trying to find a place for a slowbro in my team, either for sweeping or a wall. Here's the two movesets...Wall is the first, sweeping is the second.

Slowbro (Bold)
-Surf
-Ice Beam/Psychic
-Thunder Wave
-Slack Off

- Surf
- Ice Beam/Psychic
- Calm Mind
- Slack Off

Sorry for the lack of items/EV'S, so please just work with me here. ALL suggestions will be highly appriciated.

Rightyho. Haven't been here to post a team in ages, so here goes.

Empoleon @ Splash Plate / Shell Bell
Bashful | Torrent
Surf
Metal Claw
Peck
Fury Attack

Luxray @ Magnet / Dread Plate
Jolly | Intimidate
Spark / T-bolt
Crunch
Strength
Swagger

Graveler / Golem @ Quick Claw / Rock Incense
Serious | Rock Head
Rock Blast
EQ
Rollout
Def. Curl

Ponyta / Rapidash @ Flame Plate / Leppa Berry (< still experimenting with NG)
Jolly | Run Away
Flamethrower
Fire Spin
Stomp
Natural Gift

Haunter / Gengar @ Spooky Plate
Relaxed | Levitate
Shadow Ball
Psychic
C-Ray
Sucker Punch / T-bolt (< my last Gengar had it)

Staraptor @ Silk Scarf / Metronome
Docile | Intimidate
Fly
Close Combat
Quick Attack
Defog (< HM)

OPTION: Steelix @ Sitrus / Shell Bell
Docile | Rock Head
Strength
Dragonbreath
Thunder Fang
Sandstorm

Please if you rate:
- I am probably not going to catch/breed new Pokemon for natures and abilities, because this is just a working team to take me past E4 and probably only a little more. It doesn't have to be perfect, just decently strong.
- Steelix is an option that I'm willing to throw in.
- I'm more of the offensive sort, and I like versatility over power. That's why my Empoleon still has Peck.
- I'm really reluctant to use TMs that are only available once, like those given out at Gyms.
- I have just beaten the Snowpoint Gym, so I can't go everywhere to find TMs /items yet. I do have most of the Plates though, and plenty of Heart Scales for the Move Tutor.

I'm breeding bold koffings right now and this is the ev spread and moveset i plan to do as soon as i hatch a good one:

Weezing @ Black Sludge
252 HP, 252 Def, 6 HP
Bold - Levitate
- Pain Split
- Will-o-Wisp
- Thunderbolt
- Sludge Bomb/Flamethrower

However, i'm not sure about the ev spread. Should i leave it as is or add a few evs in SpDef as well?

And what about haze? Should i put it instead of one of the offensive moves?

SkyBlitz: your Frolass seems fine.

Sword of Destiny: standard weezing. unless you absolutely fear gyarados, you can forgo thunderbolt and give it haze, explosion, or sludge bomb. but flamethrower is absolutely needed to counter heracross that might have came in on a will o wisp. 252hp/252def/6spAtk.

?

An anti-opener with taunt, but it's typing and defenses aren't fit for it. you can catch boah offguard with this set (taunt/brick break/stone edge/sucker punch).
_____

Grumpig @? Nature: Careful
IVs: SP. Attack: 28-31 | Speed: 31
EVs: 252 Sp. Attack| 252 Speed| 6 Hp
Own Tempo

Psychic

Confuse Ray

Thunder Wave

Magic Coat/Attract?

focusing on speed is a bad idea. move those EVs into spDef (you have thunderwave, and grumpig has good SpDef to work with) Parafusion might just work on a defensive pokemon like Grumpig, but i think it needs a secondary attacking move. try this one:

Grumpig@leftovers
own tempo (thick fat is better though)
calm mind
psychic
shadow ball/energy ball
thunderwave

Zangoose@? Jolly
IVs: Attack 27-31| Speed: ?
EVs:?

Swords Dance

Aerial Ace

Shadow Claw

Brick Break

shadow claw and brick break has awesome type coverage, so aerial ace is OK to counter heracross. consider close combat>brick break, as zangoose will die in 1 or 2 hits, and the suicidal move in close combat is worth it. @life orb

Muk @ Iron Ball Nature: Brave
Ivs: Attack 31 | Defense: Above 22 | Sp Defense: Above 24
Evs: Attack 252| Def.: 6 |Sp.Def.:252
Stench :(

Fling

Shadow Sneak

Shadow Punch

Curse

fling + iron ball doesn't seem right on a muk, although i do like the idea of curse:

Muk@black sludge
stench???? wow... 252hp/252spDef/6atk or 252hp/129atk/129spDef
curse
shadow sneak
brick break
explosion/fire punch

Froslass@ Focus Sash Nature: Mild
IVs: HP: 30| Def 31| Sp Attack: 30| Speed: 31
EVs: Sp.Attack:252|Speed 252 | Def: 6
Snow Cloak

Ice Beam

Confuse Ray

Subby

Shadow Ball

focus sash and subby? no. @leftovers/salac, you can keep subby but consider spikes or destiny bond in the second slot.

_____

Some pokes are not yet trained but all (But Zangoose) are EV Trained
Those pokemon are: Toxicroak( Croagunk level 34) and Zangoose(Level 2)

RoT: just don't say 'trade for them'... the team is an in-game team, so keep in mind that some HM moves still needs to be kept, etc.

i think we've missed a customer as well...

Rhyperior (Adamant)
-Avalanche/ Substitute (Need help deciding)
-Swords Dance
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge

swords dance rhyperior is really a menace if played correctly. with naturally mammoth HP, substitute can work, but avalanche can absolutely destroy an outraging garchomp and fellow dragons, so go with avalanche instead. subsequently, you can ditch swords dance for megahorn or fire punch (for skarmory and bronzong) and slap on choice band. 252atk/252hp/6def if swords dance is absent or 252hp/129atk/129 spDef or def if swords dance is present.

Exeggutor (Modest)
-Sunny Day
-Solarbeam
-Leech Seed
-Psychic/ HP fire

leech seed is meh (on an exeggutor). with sunny day, exeggutor can outspeed some potential switch-ins on and induce sleep through sleep powder. sleep powder>leech seed and psychic is OK, though there are a multitude of other options (HP Fire, explosion, sludge bomb, trick room, etc.) 252spAtk/252spd/6hp, @leftovers/heat rock

Smeargle (Jolly)
-Spore
-Endure
-Endeavor
-Seismic Toss

i'd say this is best saved for double battles or the end receiver of a baton pass chain. ice shard is the new norm instead of seismic toss nowdays (no immunities, so it KOs all after endeavor) @salac. 252spd is the only necessity here.

Dusknoir (Careful)
-Pain Split
-Focus Punch
-Will-O-Wisp
-Shadow Punch

though focus punch offers type coverage, consider any of the elemental punches over it. ice punch nails dragons, fire punch can deal damage to heracross that may have switched in on a WoW, while thunder punch can hit bulky waters. 252hp/129atk/129spDef

Vespiquen (Impish)
-Defend Order
-Toxic
-Attack Order
-Heal Order

vespiquen is really set back by it's typing; a multitude of weaknesses and stealth rock weakness. i guess this works in theory.

???
-
-
-
-

I'm considering finding an alternative special sweeper (instead of exeggutor), or a way that I could incorporate sunny day with the rest of my team.

this can go in place of vespiquen:

Umbreon@leftovers
sychronize
bold 252hp/129def/129spDef
mean look
baton pass
moonlight
yawn

moonlight heals 2/3 of umby's total HP in sunlight. baton passing mean look is always a good idea, while yawn ensures a somewhat-safe switch on baton pass and give an opportunity to set up and sweep while the opponent is alseep.

OTHER OPTIONS:
I'm trying to find a place for a slowbro in my team, either for sweeping or a wall. Here's the two movesets...Wall is the first, sweeping is the second.

Slowbro (Bold)
-Surf
-Ice Beam/Psychic
-Thunder Wave
-Slack Off

- Surf
- Ice Beam/Psychic
- Calm Mind
- Slack Off

go with the sweeper (2nd) set. 252def/129hp/129spAtk can kill garchomp with ice beam.

GOMENASAI...I wrote wrong ability for arceus...it has multitype...But anyways I'm not using that team in any wi-fi matches...I use it as a training dummy for my no-uber team to train on :) Sorry again for any problems...

Uh...help rate my no-uber team..? Thanks a bunch...

Aerodactyl - Hasty - Pressure - Stone plate
-Crunch
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
- Dragon Claw

Salamence - Bashful - Intimidate - Draco Plate
-Dragon Claw
-Crunch
-Flamethrower
-Draco Meteor

Lapras - Careful - Water Absorb - Wise Glasses
-Ice Beam
-Thunder
-Psychic
-Hydro Pump

Lanturn - Hardy - Volt Absorb - Quick Claw
-Hydo Pump
-Surf
-Thunder
-Ice Beam

Froslass - Timid - Sonw Cloak - Nevermelt Ice
-Destiny Bond
-Ice Beam
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt

As usual my team will forever be an all out offence until someone knocks into my head telling me why that is very stupid...=P Go figure...
This team is my current team but is subjected to amendments if I still can't beat my legends...(Apparently I only managed to knock down 4 pokemon in my legends...Sighss...)

Thanks again and sorry for previous errors...

Aerodactyl - Hasty - Pressure - Stone plate
-Crunch
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
- Dragon Claw

ice fang will do more damage to all dragons not named Palkia, Giratina, and Kingdra, so go with that over dragon claw. @choice band/life orb.

Salamence - Bashful - Intimidate - Draco Plate
-Dragon Claw
-Crunch
-Flamethrower
-Draco Meteor

ahh, mixMence... brick break or stone edge should go in the 2nd slot. fire blast should go instead of flamethrower for the event in which draco meteor is used before it. a spAtk+ nature should be used instead of a neutral one: mild or rash are the best choices.

Lapras - Careful - Water Absorb - Wise Glasses
-Ice Beam
-Thunder
-Psychic
-Hydro Pump

a spAtk- nature and yet you still pack special moves on it? either change the nature or change the moveset. if you want this team to beat up an UBER team, you should have ice shard here to pick on lati@s lesser defense and rayquaza. waterfall>hydro pump and ice shard>psychic. thunder is OK to counter kyogre, though i don't know how much it will do with a spAtk- nature.

Lanturn - Hardy - Volt Absorb - Quick Claw
-Hydo Pump
-Surf
-Thunder
-Ice Beam

ditch hydro pump for thunderwave and give it leftovers. thuderbolt>thunder

Froslass - Timid - Sonw Cloak - Nevermelt Ice
-Destiny Bond
-Ice Beam
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt

well, something went right here. @leftovers or something...

As usual my team will forever be an all out offence until someone knocks into my head telling me why that is very stupid...=P Go figure...
This team is my current team but is subjected to amendments if I still can't beat my legends...(Apparently I only managed to knock down 4 pokemon in my legends...Sighss...)

using pokemon that aren't even overused (lapras, lanturn, maybe froslass) shouldn't be able to defeat a team of UBERs, no matter how noobish the opponent may be (OK, i can't guarantee that part)

Thanks again and sorry for previous errors...

mixLuke... adamant is your nature here so do focus on physical attacks over special... go with choice band/life orb luke:

-extremespeed
-close combat
-shadow claw/earthquake
-stone edge/earthquake

Honchkrow-Impish
Nasty Plot
Night Slash
Wing Attack
Night Shade

ehh... adamant is much better. nasty plot doesn't help any of its attacks. go with a physical set (night slash/drill peck/thunderwave/return) or an inferior special set (nasty plot/dark pulse/psychic/thunderwave or Hidden Power Fighting). @leftovers

Gyarados-Hasty
Surf
Ice Fang
Hyper Beam
Dragon Dance

jolly/adamant again. waterfall, earthquake, and stone edge/ice fang/taunt is usually paired with DDance. @leftovers.

Okay, I'm back for a team-rating, this time, I've set myself into the BL/UU lands. And prove that even if they are from lower tiers, BL/UU pokemon can still beat thorough OU <s>coughcheapcough</s> teams.

P.S. Please, do not scold me with standard movesets, I appresiate your creativity and what you think about these sets. I accept corrections coming from standard examples, but that's all.

Luxray @ Choice Band
Intimidate|Jolly/Adamant
. Quick Attack
. Spark
. Fire Fang
. Ice Fang

Vileplume @ Black Sludge
Chlorophyll|Modest/Quiet
. Sleep Powder
. Aromatherapy
. Grass Knot
. Sludge Bomb

Blaziken @ Expert Belt
Blaze|Jolly
. Overheat
. Night Slash
. Sky Uppercut
. Quick Attack

Cloyster @ Lefties
Shell Armour/Skill Link|Brave/Relaxed/Sassy
. Ice Shard/Icicle Spear
. Spikes
. Toxic Spikes
. Rapid Spin

Umbreon @ Lum Berry
Synchronise|Impish/Brave
. Tickle
. Yawn
. Confuse Ray/Secret Power
. Pursuit

Flygon @ Shell Bell
Levitate|Jolly/Adamant
. Screech
. Substitute
. Earthquake
. Dragon Claw

Notes: Luxray is mostly an Intimidate Leader with physical Boltbeam and avalability to CB Quick Attack, which is nice coming from 120 Base Attack.

Vileplume is my sleep support girl, cleric, Toxic Spikes and Sunny Day absorber and mostly Anti-Tar-Hippo-Bulky Waters thanks to Grass Knot.

Blaziken is my Anti-Skarmblisselia man, Expert Belt and having big type coverage means a little plus for him, I cannot afford EQ, tho.

Cloyster is obviously the utility girl with Spinning and Spiking capabilities, depending on her ability, her Ice-type move veries, Ice Shard (aka. Dragon's Guillotine) for a Shell Armour Cloy, Icicle Spear (aka. Subs' Guillotine) is for Skill Link Cloy.

Umbreon is the scariest one in my team, makes the opponent think it twice before settling thanks to Yawn, surpasses Subs (and therefore BP Chains) thanks to Tickle and catches opponents on the run with Pursuit, this is lovely with Spikes Support.

The set you just saw for Flygon is the unique Screechgon set, granted there is Spikes Support, opponents will have these options after a Screech: Switch to make next pokemon suffer from the Spikes or let the helpless creature there to eat a phys. STAB move with two stages less on Def.

And that was my future competitive team, I hope you do your best to perfect it but without scolding me again with standard sets as the only way of succeding, i.e. DON'T GO SO STANDARD ON ME.

Okay, I'm back for a team-rating, this time, I've set myself into the BL/UU lands. And prove that even if they are from lower tiers, BL/UU pokemon can still beat thorough OU <s>coughcheapcough</s> teams.

P.S. Please, do not scold me with standard movesets, I appreciate your creativity and what you think about these sets. I accept corrections coming from standard examples, but that's all.

Luxray @ Choice Band
Intimidate|Jolly/Adamant
. Quick Attack
. Spark
. Fire Fang
. Ice Fang

*and behold luxray's CB set... adamant for more power, as without scarf, you won't outspeed much anyway.

Vileplume @ Black Sludge
Chlorophyll|Modest/Quiet
. Sleep Powder
. Aromatherapy
. Grass Knot
. Sludge Bomb

*neither overly offensive or defensive, and I like it. consider modest and sunny day; combined with chlorophyll, vileplume will become of the fastest sleep-inducers in the game after the speed boost after sunny day. considering it is hard to find a moveslot for it, you may leave it out. if you want to try sunny day, replace it with sludge bomb and give it (maybe) solarbeam.

Blaziken @ Expert Belt
Blaze|Jolly
. Overheat
. Night Slash
. Sky Uppercut
. Quick Attack

*jolly, with expert belt and quick attack? either change up the nature/item, or quick attack. expert belt doesn't help with quick attack in anyway. try adamant, or naughty (to naturally boost overheat). this setup is OK, but quick attack seems thrown in.

Cloyster @ Lefties
Shell Armour/Skill Link|Brave/Relaxed/Sassy
. Ice Shard/Icicle Spear
. Spikes
. Toxic Spikes
. Rapid Spin

*in the battle between ice shard and icicle spear, have fun settling that. for me, ice shard bypasses cloyster's speed and ends a dragon's threat, barring yache berry. everything else looks good here.[

Umbreon @ Lum Berry
Synchronise|Impish/Brave
. Tickle
. Yawn
. Confuse Ray/Secret Power
. Pursuit

*pursuit is a nominal amount of damage, especially w/o curse in this moveset. this can run into some problems with those who use substitute and those that resist pursuit. you're also assuming that a counter will not 2HKO you, and umbreon will fail to the likes of megahorn from heracross/rhyperior or close combat from heracross/infernape, especially w/o a recovery move (wish or moonlight; actually, moonlight will go well with sunny day support from vileplume).

Flygon @ Shell Bell
Levitate|Jolly/Adamant
. Screech
. Substitute
. Earthquake
. Dragon Claw

*you'll be sad to see that this won't hurt skarmory, even after a screech.

however, screechcan work well in conjunction with spikes support.

Notes: Luxray is mostly an Intimidate Leader with physical Boltbeam and avalability to CB Quick Attack, which is nice coming from 120 Base Attack.

Vileplume is my sleep support girl, cleric, Toxic Spikes and Sunny Day absorber and mostly Anti-Tar-Hippo-Bulky Waters thanks to Grass Knot.

sadly, there are some flaws in your gameplan: an opponent carrying a rapid spinner. consider a ghost type in your party (a nice BL one would be mismaguis or spiritomb, mismaguis perferably because you lack a special sweeper) as long you have a ghost type, you can block spinners and continue to rack up spikes damage while you're at it. also, w/o spikes support, that umbreon is trash (no offense).

I am attempting to preconstruct a new team for competitive battling, as my old team sux0rd. The theme is sweeping, and lots of it. I am immune to Toxic

Well a good team is always needed :P :

Magikarp @ Focus Sash. Swift Swim
Adamant, 252 Att 129 Spd 129 HP

Splash
Tackle
Flail
???

(I seriously want to change this one, but there's nothing else I can think of) Basically your opponent laughs at you, attempts a OHKO, and ends up screaming in terror as Flail jolts their happy moods.

Mr. Mime @ Light Clay. Levitate
Impish, 252 Def 252 Sp. Def 6 Att

Reflect
Light Screen
U-Turn
???

This is some sort of Poke that sets up Light Screen and Reflect and then runs away. I don't think a fourth move would be neccassary, but what do you think? Anyway, I'm U-Turning to...

Umbreon @ Leftovers. Synchronize
Bold, 252 Def 252 Sp. Def 6 Spd

Double Team
Calm Mind
Substitute
Baton Pass

Its a basic Baton Passer. I'm asking you to help me spot anything that might screw up this defensive guy. I don't find it too possible. Anyway, Baton Pass to...

Alakazam @ Lum Berry. Synchronize
Modest, 252 Sp. Att 252 Spd 6 HP

Psychic
Shadow Ball
Energy Ball
Focus Blast

A basic Sp. Sweeper. Double Team protects Alakazam on the Baton Pass and good ol' Substitute prevents Shadow Punch from doing serious damage. Lets hope Focus Blast doesn't miss too much, as if we run out we are totally screwed by Blissey. Anyway, on the rare occasion this guy faints...

Ninjask @ Brightpowder. Speed Boost
Calm, 252 Def 252 Sp. Def 6 HP

Double Team
Swords Dance
Substitute
Baton Pass

See Umbreon for details and requests.

Salamence @ Muscle Band. Intimidate
Adamant, 252 Att 252 Spd 6 HP

Earthquake
Stone Edge
Aerial Ace
Brick Break

Ah... my team's pride and joy. This dragon here basically rips through everything, and totally rids the Physical Sweeper's reputation of `screwed by Skarm`. Uh... Anything I could do to improve? Like Alakazam, this guy doesn't need stat boosters because of Ninjask.

Magikarp... ,....your opponent will outspeed you, thus avoiding Flail and Magikarps...atk is too low...get it to G-does and then teach this moveset...

Mr. Mime's Defense are too weak, the def and HP really gets it down
If you want a U-turn pokemon have...

{azelf} @Life Orb
Naive 252 Sp atk 220 speed remaining EVs in atk
Explosion
U-Turn
Flamethrower
Psychic

This will also prevent SKarmBliss form ruining your team

Umbreon @ Leftovers. Synchronize

Subby will protect Zam for a limited time, and once you baton pass CMs your Zam will be powerful, Life Orb if you want to switch moves

Ninjask @ Brightpowder Lefties for competive
Calm, 252 Def 252 Sp. Def 6 HP Adamant/Jolly

Double Team Aerial Ace/ X-Scissor
