really, hyper beam? ditch that for trick, slap on choice specs and you have a fine starter in TrickSpecs. Tricking specs instantly decapitates a defensive-oriented pokemon, and psychic can mash stuff if you do not choose to trick.

I've changed that last move about 4 times since I posted this >.< , Though I have yet to try trick, With alakazam's horrible DEF though even using a turn to trick an opponent leaves him open to a usually fatal attack. Hyper beam has been used basically as a special version of Explosion, he's dead meat afterwards...

Wall breaker *Perfect switch in for those who try to fire scizor*

I would think that a Heatran, Aracnine, Ninetales or even a Houndoom would work better as a Flash Fire setup. They all have superior movepools to this horse and some have better stats. Although fire and bug removes the likes of steels and Cresselia, it doesn't offer much in the way of type coverage and that can be your downfall as well. Really, stick to a Heatran (@specs, flamethrower/dragon pulse/earth power/explosion) or Arcanine (@choice band, extremespeed/flare blitz/crunch/thunder fang) if you want to take advantage of flash fire.

Wall

Since you have curse, bulk up its HP and spDef in the EV department. That way, it can switch into psychic better than you think and fire a shadow sneak back at them.

HP DV is 30~31 so it's good there, I think I might drop 100 out of def into S.def though.

Denial attacker

denial attacker? new term, wrong pokemon. rock slide is good with it's speed, but it doesn't flinch that much to take advantage of flinch+confusion; besides, its usually paralysis+flinch, so this fails. ditch surf and confuse ray for waterfall and night slash I guess. If you get a Kabutops w/ swift swim, rain dance instead of x-scissor is a worthy option to consider.

I choose X-scissor over dark slash since he's gets more type advantages in combination w/ rock and water. I use surf over waterfall since it drops defensive walls like Rypherior and Fortress better than Waterfall is able.

but why neutral nature? @life orb if you want a pure sweeper, but with sturdy defenses, leftovers is also good.

After about 3 PC boxes full of Scythers I gave up . Life orb sounds like a good plan

Mixed Attacker

it gets earth power, so use it over earthquake. if you ditch roost for draco meteor, you would have an imposter specsMence, which does work well and can surprise.

I favored EQ over EP so it can't be special walled, and even with modest nature it's attack is still quite powerful, Roost is there for lack of a better move, and I'm kinda squeamish over Draco meteor's S.Atk drop >.> I'll give it a try
