Got a few new Pokemon and some with changed sets.

{gengar} @Choice Scarf
Modest|Levitate
~Thunder Bolt
~Sludge Bomb
~Energy Ball
~Shadow Ball

Not sure weather I should keep it scarfed or change it to something else. Will post up EV's later but SP. ATK is 368 and Speed is 279

{lucario} @Focus Sash
Lonely|Stead Fast
~Close Combat
~Earth Quake
~Shadow Claw
~Swords Dance

Been changing up this set quite a bit from a mixed sweeper to a special sweeper. I plan to stick with this one.

{sceptile} @Lum Berry
Timid|Over Grow
~Leaf Storm
~Focus Blast
~Dragon Pulse
~Protect

I would have put on Hidden Power in there over Protect but it's HP type is grass so I didn't bother.

Ok, This is my first try at a team, so it will probably be stupid.
Note: most of the team is below lvl60, so suggestions on EVs are appriciated.

[ {pikachu} ] @ [No Item]. [Static]
[Attack-108 Defence-65 Sp.Atk-80 Sp.Def-72 Speed-139]

[Thunder]
[Strength]
[Charge Beam]
[Slam]

I'm looking for a better electric currently
[EDIT] Is Rotom [ {rotom} ] an uber, like can I use him in battle tower?

[ {blastoise} ] @ [None]. [Torrent]
[Attack-99 Defence-134 Sp.Atk-109 Sp.Def-110 Speed-95]

[Bite]
[Ice Beam]
[Surf
[Rapid Spin]

This is my "Tank"

[ {aggron} ] @ [Leftovers]. [Rock Head]
[Attack-123 Defence-171 Sp.Atk-63 Sp.Def-56 Speed-55]

[Earthquake
[Iron Tail]
[Rock Smash]
[Metal Claw]

I could use a sub for this pokemon.

[ {metagross} ] @ [No Item]. [Clear Body]
[Attack-143 Defence-131 Sp.Atk-112 Sp.Def-98 Speed-79]

[Take Down]
[Psychic]
[Pursuit]
[Bullet Punch]

This dude needs a better move set.

[ {charizard} ] @ [No Item]. [Blaze]
[Attack-225 Defence-206 Sp.Atk-244 Sp.Def-208 Speed-265]

[Flamethrower]
[Blast Burn]
[Dragon Rage]
[Fly]

This is my lvl 100 starter for FR

[ {sceptile} ] @ [BlackBelf]. [Overgrow]
[Attack-217 Defence-172 Sp.Atk-246 Sp.Def-181 Speed-293]

[Dragon Claw]
[Bullet Seed]
[Leaf Blade]
[Drain Punch](black belt makes sense now)

My first ever Pokemon. I got him when I was like...idk 8/9 anyways, his move set is changeable, but I'd need heart scales.

and um...Thats about it!

Peta: Guessing you don't have Light Ball, try evolving to Raichu and try this set:

{raichu} @ Shell Bell | Static
252 Atk, 252 Spd
Thunder-Punch
Ice Punch/Reflect
Endure & Reversal OR Brick Break & Iron Tail(?)

I think you can put the punches in FR, LG and E. Physical Sweeper. Note that this is completely experimental by me.

{raichu} @ Leftovers | Static
200 sp. atk, 52 HP, 252 Spd
Thunder and Rain Dance and HP Water OR Thunderbolt/Discharge and HP Ice and Charge(?)
A Support move.

Special Sweeper with a bit of set-up. I put less SA EVs since you can setup easily for more power.

(?) means I'm unsure. You're welcome for an expertish opinion anytime. :P

whipwhip: Glaceon really needs Abomasnow's hail. If you want a sweeper-ish Glaceon, go with: Fake Tears/Shadow Ball/Hidden Power/Blizzard or Ice Beam. For a bulkier one, try Wish instead of Hidden Power.

AABM wrote:
Yet again, I'm interested in rating my ever-changing team. But things are bound to get nowhere if I keep morphing and morphing my team, so let's just move on and get a vista of what this new weird BL/UU Team idea is about, shall we?

Note: Running a BL/UU Team doesn't mean I can't take on OU adversaries, so keep that in mind.

Luxray @ Choice Scarf
Intimidate.
Adamant | 128 Att; 60 Def; 252 Spd; 70 SD.
· Crunch
· Spark
· Fire Fang
· Ice Fang

I like. EVs should be just the old-fashioned 252atk/252spd/6hp IMO. Luxray has a good attack stat, but with low base power moves, you need to make of for it in EVs.

Ledian @ Lefties
Early Bird.
Jolly | 4 HP; 70 Att; 120 Def; 252 Spd; 64 SD.
· Encore
· Focus Punch
· Substitute
· U-Turn

Focus Punch without Swords Dance seems a bit 'fail' to me. Horrible attack stat, so Focus Punch wouldn't do much, especially without significant EV investment in attack like to have right now. Ledian does offer some decent support than your Claydol doesn't have right now: Light Screen, Reflect, and Baton Pass + Agility, Swords Dance, etc. Try to make a moveset based around Ledian's good support movepool, something like: Baton Pass/Stat-up Move/Bug Buzz/Light Screen or Reflect, perhaps?

Claydol @ Brightpowder (or another Lefties if B-powder is frowned at again...)
Levitate.
Bold | 148 HP; 144 Def; 104 SA; 114 SD.
· Toxic / Ice Beam
· Rapid Spin
· Stealth Rock
· Earth Power

I was going to say that Earthquake hits harder against TTar, so yeah. A bit on the standard side, so I don't have much else to recommend.

Mismagius @ Choice Specs
Levitate.
Timid | 4 HP; 86 Def; 212 Spd; 144 SA; 64 SD.
· Hidden Power [Ice] / Dark Pulse
· Thunderbolt
· Shadow Ball
· Energy Ball

Go with HP Ice, hands down. Again, you don't have to get fancy with the EVs: 252spAtk is needed to dish out the most strongest attacks.

Gardevoir @ Wide Lens
Trace.
Bold | 18 HP; 100 Def; 100 Spd; 192 SA; 100 SD.
· Hypnosis
· Will-O-Wisp
· Focus Blast
· Psychic

OK; at least put in thunderbolt to make it a fine Gyarados counter to an extent, bouncing back Intimidate and sending it to the grave via T-bolt. Other than that, double status I like.

Flygon @ Expert Belt
Levitate.
Naive | 124 Att; 252 Spd; 134 SA.
· Earthquake
· Draco Meteor
· Crunch
· Substitute

Another thing Flygon rips off of Salemence I guess. Flamethrower can go in somewhere to take better advantage of Expert Belt.

* Well, that wraps things up for today's AABMesque Sets, I kinda like the way they are, even if they work or not (and I think for you cold raters out there, some of these don't work at all).

But meh, I'm ready to take on any strong comment, I'm bound to test this in Shoddy myself if it sees any light there, with Chomps, Blissey and Tar running around like scared mice, but that's the way it should be anyway.

this team may get somewhere after some redistribution of EVs... but Ledian? I'd rather go with Dunsparce if you want a sheer cool factor. >.>

Okay, minor emergency. I had a Suicune slated for the following lineup (which 4ever had been kind enough to tweak and fill for me in a previous post). Unfortunately, that particular dog won't work out due to IV issues - I had thought I'd checked them before and found them suitable, but when I learned of the FRLG dog trio curse, I doublechecked and discovered that the IV spread was quite lol in nature. So I'm thinking about replacing. First, the retooled main lineup, after 4ever's suggestions:

Quote:
{venusaur} @ Black Sludge
Bold
EV: 204 HP, 152 d, 152 SD
Sleep Powder
Leech Seed
Energy Ball
Synthesis

{zapdos} @ Life Orb
[MODEST]
EV: 4 HP, 252 Spd, 252 SA
Roost
HP Grass
Thunder Wave
Thunderbolt

{marowak} @ Thick Club
Jolly or Adamant
Rock Head
EV: 4 HP, 252 A, 252 Spd
Swords Dance
EQ
Rock Slide
Double-Edge

{electivire} @ Expert Belt OR Life Orb
Adamant
Motor Drive
EV: 4 HP, 252 A, 252 Spd
Thunderpunch
Ice Punch
Cross Chop
EQ

{infernape} @ Life Orb
Naïve
Blaze
EV: 24 A, 252 SA, 232 Spd
Nasty Plot
Grass Knot
Flamethrower
Close Combat

{metagross} @ Choice Band OR Leftovers
Adamant
EV: 4 HP, 252 A, 252 Spd
Meteor Mash
Bullet Punch (wanted Thunderpunch, but this one's being bred in Pearl only. :( Besides, Electivire.)
EQ
Explosion

Now, I was considering Vaporeon for the final slot, mainly 'cause I kinda want a water in there, plus Ice Beam coverage. But I'm torn: go with a pure wall set, or perhaps put a sweeper bent on it? Or even a pass set for Wish and whatnot?

okay i'll help

DO NOT GIVE T-TAR A SPECIAL MOVE, t-tar is a attack only pokemon i suggest,

{t-tar}
adamant @ focus sash -sand stream
255 attack- 255 -def (for when someone wants to kill you with a fighting move, also why i suggest a focus sash)
-crunch
-stone edge, rock slide
-earthquake
-aerial ace

defence is a must, because of sand stream, his sp. def. gets 1.5x stronger and if a fighting type comes out and hes your last guy, what are you giong to do, not with persuit i doubt you'd win but with aerial ace you'd at least have a chance.

they can't be seen in-game. Only by making one yourself or by downloading a friend's pokedex.

you can also get a good one from a present on the Wii game.

Charizard @ Life Orb
Modest
Blaze
EV's: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Flamethrower
HP Grass/Air Slash
Dragon Pulse/HP Ice
Focus Blast

Standard Charizard without falling back on Specs. I like Charizard alot more than mence and all of the other major specs users, and HP grass if im lucky enough, if not STAB air slash is cool too.

Ursaring @ Leftovers
Adamant
Guts
EV's: 252 Attack, 252 HP, 6 Def
Rest
Sleep Talk
Facade
Stone Edge

Nothing hurts like a STAB boosted facade from a 130 base attack power ^.^. Stone edge has a good attack power if sleep talk misses facade. (there is always a risk of it selecting rest but thats true for any sleeptalker so eh)

Floatzel @ Choice Band
Adamant
Swift Swim (kinda useless here but eh)
EV's:252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Brick Break
Crunch
Ice Fang
Waterfall

I tried him out and he dominated. Brick Break covers alot, crunch psychics, ice fang takes dragons, and waterfall is a decent powerd STAB move on a band set. Ouch.

Miltank @ Leftovers
Impish
Thick Fat
EV's: 252 HP, 224 Defense, 32 Speed
Heal Bell
Milk Drink
Body Slam/return
Zen Headbutt

A good cleric and physical wall, one of the best actually i think, as long as I dont get cross-chopped or something. Zen headbutt is there for Gengar, and body slam/return for STAB boosted havoc. Heal bell is what makes it a cleric, and milk drink is what hepls it to be a wall so its reliable.

Grumpig @ Leftovers
Calm
Thick Fat
EV's: 252 Special Defense, 252 HP, 6 Special attack
Magic Coat
Charge Beam
Psychic
Rest

Rest is his only recovery move sadly, but its ok. Magic coat, well everyone knows why thats so good, charge beam can boost my special attack, and psychic for STAB boost.

Venasaur @ Leftovers
Bold
Overgrow
EV's: 216 HP, 252 Special Defense, 36 Special Attack
Sleep Powder
Leech Seed
Grass Knot
Sludge Bomb

A variation on the standard venasaur, basically designed to hit harder. Leech seed + leftovers doesnt require so many HP ev's in my opinion, and grass knot and sludge bomb both being high powered and STAB moves will benefit from some EV's.

OK I guess, since you prefer this thing over specsMence for some strange reason.

Ursaring @ Leftovers

Guts
EV's: 252 Attack, 252 HP, 6 Def
Rest

Facade
Stone Edge

is Ursaring bulky enough to resttalk? I believe that answer is no. If you want a status absorber with some decent attacking stats, Machamp or Heracross can do this better; run Dynamicpunch/Stone Edge on a Machamp or Megahorn/Stone Edge on Heracross. Of course, disregard this if you are trying to stay away from OU.

Floatzel @ Choice Band
Adamant
Swift Swim (kinda useless here but eh)

Brick Break

Ice Fang

Body Slam/return
Zen Headbutt

A good cleric and physical wall, one of the best actually i think, as long as I dont get cross-chopped or something. Zen headbutt is there for Gengar, and body slam/return for STAB boosted havoc. Heal bell is what makes it a cleric, and milk drink is what hepls it to be a wall so its reliable.

Why not Scrappy as its ability? next.

Rest works good with Heal Bell from Miltank, so you'll do fine.

Sludge Bomb to hit Grass types unaffected by Leech Seed, so it has its uses here.

Go with either X-Scissor or Aerial Ace in the final spot.

Garchomp @ Choice Band

Jolly - 255 Attack and 255 Speed

Outrage
Earthquake
Crunch
Firefang

lawl. Awesomeness. Maybe have Life Orb so it can retain its freedom to change attacks after getting the +2 Speed from Ninjask?

Forretress @ Leftovers

Impish - 255 hp, 100 + in both def stats.

Rapid Spin
Stealth Rock
Spikes
Explosion

I was thinking max out HP/Defense.

Porygon-Z @ Life Orb

Timid - 255 Sp Attack and 255 Speed | Adaptability

Nasty Plot
Ice beam
Thunder bolt
Tri Attack

ok.

Weavile @ [ Suggestions? ]

Adamant - 255 Attack and 255 Speed

Ice punch
Night Slash
Swords dance
~ [ Too late for fake out or pursuit or ice shard, aerial is not an option for now ]

Brick Break in the final spot. Life orb or Focus Sash (if you're daring) can work. Man, what am I saying: stick with Life Orb.

Salamence @ Choice Specs

Modest - 255 Sp Attack and 255 Speed

Draco Meteor
Flame Thrower
Hydro Pump
Dragonpulse

specsMence ftw.

You certainly have standard stuff here, but the team might be overly offensive. Forretress is you're only form of defense, and you have Explosion on it, so I wouldn't depend on that. You have two dragons and a Weavile of your own, so for all you know, you might get swept by Ice Shard/Brick Break Weavile. Again, Forretress is your only defense against Weavile, but if you explode it before seeing one, you're in for a 5-0 or 4-0 sweep. Another defensive Pokemon could work instead of Salamence, maybe another steel type like Metagross (who enjoys Ninjask's work as well), or a bulkywater perhaps (Suicune, Gyarados, Milotic come to mind).

Thanks, I will definately be considering to swap my Specsmence for one of my defenses. If I were to, which one do you like better -

Spiritomb @ Leftovers
Calm

Spite
ShadowSneak
Protect
Rest

PP Drainer and tank. This guy has 31 IV's in HP and Special defense, not sure about regular defense. IV breed ftw? xP

OR

Umbreon @ Leftovers

Bold - 255 HP, 100+ in both defense and special defense. << Cause I'm lazy and vitamins rock xP.

Toxic
Meanlook
Wish
Batonpass

Yes, I already have those 2, except I haven't trained my spiritomb yet >_<.

So, which one should I use in replace of which? o_o
