Dragonite was definetely most helpful getting through the story mode and sevii islands but right now probably my Blastoise.

Blastoise cause the early gyms will be easy with him /Squitle/Wartortle the most..

Psychic, Amnesia, Recover, Solarbeam (for that nasty Tyranitar and Dewgong)

Lv.87:Thunder,Drill Peck, Protect, Light Screen.

Lv.86:Blast Burn, Iron Tail, Flamethrower, Fly.

Lv.74:Blizzard, Ice Beam, Mind Reader, Reflect.

Lv.64:Hyper Beam, Double-edge, Wing Attack, Ancientpower.

Lv.62:Earthquake, Thrash, Crunch, Rock Slide.

mine would be my lvl 72 Gengar which knows thief, So i get items, he is immune to poison, has levitate so he does not get affected by ground moves, and he is a ghost so normal/fighting moves do not affect him either.

Strangely, thus far, my most useful pokémon turns out to be my butterfree.

Though, I haven't even had Leaf Green for a week yet, so maybe that'll all change when I face the top Gym Leaders and the League.

mine is my good oll, mew. i got him from a special event from toys r us. i trained him from lvl 10 to 80. and i put in a gameshark code, were if you use transform, itll transfer the pokemon the you transformed intos data like you caught it. well, with the move tutor, i taught my mew that so..... boop! i ve got almost every Pokemon data! (execpt those darn legendaries! )
