Ok, these are 3 Pokemon I'm working on right now.

Salamence @ Yache Berry/Focus sash/Muscle Band
Adamant, Intimidate
110 HP, 250 Attack, 150 Speed
Dragon Claw
Crunch
Aerial Ace
Roost

Arcanine @ ?
Serious, Intimidate
200 Attack, 200 Special Attack, 110 Speed(Not sure about these yet)
Flamethrower
Crunch
Safeguard
Helping Hand?

Swampert @ Leftovers
Serious, Torrent
100 Attack, 100 Defense, 100 Special Attack, 100 Special Defense, 110 Speed
Surf
Earthquake
Protect
Refresh?

I'm probably gonna use these Pokemon for double team battles. I made Arcanine to compensate for Salamence's Ice-weakness, while also dealing with his lack of capability to battle Steel types. The biggest issue I'm having with Salamence is his item. I don't know wether to give him a Yache Berry or Focus Sash to survive Ice-type attacks, or to give him a Muscle Band to power up his attacks. About Arcanine's item, I really don't have any idea, so any suggestion would be more than welcome.

I'm by no means an official rater, but you have 3 of the pokemon that are on my team, So I can't help myself :P

{muk} @ black sludge
Careful | 129 HP, 252 ATK, 129 S.DEF
-Poison Jab
-Curse
-Shadow Sneak
-Explosion

Good, IV-wise I'd move the S.DEF into DEF to help him buff a quick EQ or strong physical attack so he can get a few curses in.
Also Brick break can be used over Explosion to help with his Steel immunity. + Ghost/Fight has no resistances.

{kabutops} @ king's rock
Adamant | 6 HP, 252 ATK, 252 SPD
-Waterfall
-Rock Slide
-Swords Dance
-Brick Break

From what I hear King's rock doesn't increase flinch on move that already have a flinch rate in D/P. So since your doing a sword dance set I'd recommend a focus band or something to help keep him alive longer. He has good DEF but his HP is very low.

{hitmonchan} @ muscle band
Jolly| 252 ATK, 252 SPD
-Mach Punch
-Thunderpunch
-Ice Punch
-EQ

Hitmonchan's base speed is 76 so there isn't a great boost with nature as opposed to a +atk nature. (Though w/ hitmonchan it's a pain to breed a +atk one >.<) Doing an Adamant with Agility and spreading 200IVs in HP and 56 in DEF will help him withstand a hit to get agility in. which makes his base 152. and with that you can switch out STAB mach punch for STAB close combat >:D
As for agility you can take either EQ or Thunderpunch out. Depending on your preference. Hell, I still debate which of the two to use on mine. I've usually gone with thunder punch.

Okay, one thing I should say first is that our battles have no restrictions, save for Ubers. That said, here's my team I want to use this weekend:

Alakazam @ Choice Scarf
EVs 252 Sp. Atk 252 Spd
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
Energy Ball

Lead pokemon set up to try and 1HKO the opponent's lead, especially if it's Swampert. The nature boosts Speed.

Ludicolo @ Leftovers
EVs 252 Sp. Def 252 HP
Toxic
Leech Seed
Rain Dance
Protect

Special Sponge/Drainer, nature boosts Sp. Def.

Salamence @ Choice Scarf

Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Flamethrower

physical Sweeper, nature boost atk. Adamant, if I remember correctly. Flamethrower for Skarm/Bronzong.

Weezing @ Leftovers

Sludge Bomb
Will O Wisp
Pain Split
Explosion

nature boosts def. Physical sponge, wisp to deal with other sweepers explosion when critical.

Heracross @ Choice Scarf

Earthquake
Megahorn
Close Combat
Stone Edge

standard heracross sweeper, nature boosts atk

Dusknoir @ Leftovers

Shadow Sneak
Nightshade
Pain Split
Will O Wisp

nature boosts def. Swith-in against anything I don't want to fight with anything else. My catch-all poke.

thanks for your time, any helpful hints will be appreciated, bonus points for tech against Breloom sweepers.

Hi! I have a pretty well-balanced team, I think, but I want to get it rated. I'm still trying to find the perfect balance, and I like what I've got so far. I don't really get EVs, so... I just won't put them.

{gastrodon} @ Soft Sand/Miracle water (depends). Sticky Hold
Calm

Earthquake
Stone Edge
Surf
Ice Beam

I would consider her a special sweeper, I suppose.

{infernape} @ Charcoal. Blaze (of course!)
Brave

Close combat
Flamethrower
Rock Climb
Blast Burn

I don't really know, I have a lot of trouble finding a good moveset for him.

{gengar} @ Big Root. Levitate
Hasty

Sludge Bomb
Psychic
Dark Pulse/Shadow Ball
Giga Drain

{machamp} @ Fist Plate. No Guard
Hasty

Cross Chop
DynamicPunch
Poison jab
Strength

I try to give him my super-inaccurate moves, because he never misses.

{rampardos} @ Magnet. Mold Breaker
Modest

Iron Tail
Thunderbolt
Dragon Pulse
Toxic

No idea. He just poisons them n' TAKES 'EM DOWN.

{staraptor} @ Amulet coin (any suggestions?). Intimidate
serious

Fly
U-Turn
Steel Wing
Aerial Ace

Meh. His moves are so-so.

I hope I can get my team as strong as my Hoenn team! ( {sceptile}, {wailord}, {aggron}, {salamence}, and the other two that I forget)

Surf
Stealth rock

I would consider her a special sweeper, I suppose. (Wtf? A gastrodon a special sweeper?)

{infernape} @ Charcoal. Life orb/choice specs Blaze (of course!)
Brave??? Modest/Adamant/Jolly/Timid

Close combat
Flamethrower/Fire blast
Rock Climb ??? Mach punch
Blast Burn Lol hyper beam moves. Go with grass knot.

I don't really know, I have a lot of trouble finding a good moveset for him.

{gengar} @ Big Root. Do you just go through your bag picking out random items? Use Focus Sash. Levitate
Hasty Timid

Shadow ball
Thunderbolt
Focus blast
Giga Drain (WTF?) Hypnosis

{machamp} @ Fist Plate. Choice Band No Guard
Hasty Jolly

Dynamicpunch OR Cross chop
Poison jab Ice punch
Strength (OMG WTF) Thunderpunch
Payback

I try to give him my super-inaccurate moves, because he never misses. Just because they're inaccurate dosent mean they're good O_o

{rampardos} @ Magnet. (OH MY GOSH WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU) Focus sash Mold Breaker
Modest Holy crap WTF ADAMANT

Iron Tail Crunch
Thunderbolt <???? Stone Edge
Dragon Pulse <?????? Pursuit
Toxic <????? Earthquake

No idea. He just poisons them n' TAKES 'EM DOWN. In competitive battling, rampardos will almost never survive long enough to even use toxic, much less attack after that. And in-game trainers do not count as competitive battling.

{staraptor} @ Amulet coin (any suggestions?) Um, yeah. Choice band. Intimidate
serious Adamant or jolly

Fly Terrible, terrible move. You use fly, I switch to pokemon resistant to fly. Simple as that. Use Brave Bird instead.
U-Turn
Steel Wing Return
Aerial Ace Aerial ace AND fly on the same moveset? Use Close Combat.

Meh. His moves are so-so.

I hope I can get my team as strong as my Hoenn team! ( {sceptile}, {wailord}, {aggron}, {salamence}, and the other two that I forget)

To be honest, if your hoenn team was as terrible as that one, then I dont even want to rate it. You had terrible movesets, terrible items, terrible natures, but I'm assuming that was your in-game team. If you wanted me to rate it, I'm not going to put numbers because it would make you sad, instead I will say it was very very low. Click here for a site if you need a referance for more movesets.

Did you get this moveset from smogon, by any chance? The only thing wrong with it is the nature :)

Heracross@Flame Orb Choice band/scarf
Guts
6 HP/252 Attack/252 Speed
Jolly Adamant would work better, but jolly is okay.
Substitute Pursuit, so you can switch in to a dusknoir's will-o-wisp and hit hard when he switches.
Megahorn
Close Combat
Stone Edge

Gardevoir@Life Orb
Synchronize You could, say, switch in on an electivire's thunderpunch and get a speed boost.
252 hp 224 spD 32 Speed
Modest
Psychic
Thunderbolt Will-o-wisp
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball Wish

Gardevoir is not meant to be a special sweeper.

Claydol@Leftovers
Levitate

Nothing wrong with this one.

Bronzong@Macho brace makes gyro ball extremely powerful.

All in all, a pretty good team that needed few changes. 8.5/10

Thank you.Although I wonder why Wish didn't show up on Gardevoir's moveset...It was on its moveset.Yes,I did get the moveset from Smogon.I only chose it because it was easier to use(Full power Draco Meteor slaughters a Machamp, while another Salamence of mine with Dragon Claw couldn't.It needed to set-up.)I wanted a sweeping Gardevoir for surprise.

Thinking of Jolteon set:

{jolteon} lv50 modest
Item: ???
EVs: 252sp. atk, 252 spd, 4 HP
Particular IVs: 25 SA, 28 Spd (Did not inherit my Lucario's 30 and 31 ;()
T-bolt/Charge Beam
Substitute
Double Team/T-wave
Baton Pass

Baton Passer

By all means this is not the best. I got tired of trying to get my Lucario's SA and SPD IVs, so not Egg moves either (i'm contentish with these). No HP, it's not Grass nor Ice (maybe I'll consider it, if it's worth it). I could put in Shadow Ball or Bite... I'm not sure.

Help?

Double team, you're gonna be faster than most pokes anyways and you can Baton pass it.

I dont see much wrong with it, but you should at least try (I know you're tired of it) a couple more times to get the right HP, and a speed boosting nature, perferably timid.

...Rude much?
First of all, swearing?

I can't change my Pokemon's nature. They're level 65 and it's too late for that. AND NO, I didn't just "Go through my bag and take out random items". I carefully planned, 'cause I'm all about the offense. I give each of my Pokemon an item that'll superpower their main move. I've raised their stats super high, and you could at least be the slightest bit kind, unless that's too much to ask.

And as to "Just because they're inaccurate dosent mean they're good", Cross chop has an extra-high critical-hit ratio, while Dynamic punch always confuses the opponent, and they both have 100 power.

I don't HAVE WiFi, so I CAN'T do competitive Battling. And as to your blind insult to my Hoenn team, I have never lost a battle.

I also don't like having no moves of a certain type on my team. I mean, what would happen if I was facing a facing a Pokemon ONLY weak to Dragon types-- and nothing else-- and had no Dragon-type moves?

In closing, I know I don't really have the right to complain about your opinion, but YOU don't have the right to blindly insult me. You may call it constructive or whatever you please, but somehow, I don't feel that "Holy crap WTF ADAMANT" and "(Wtf? A gastrodon a special sweeper?)" are either kind OR constructive.

If that is your in-game team, then that is fine, but you asked for it to be rated. I rated it. It took a long time to type all that, and no, you cant change your pokemon's nature. So breed new ones. I mean seriously, rampardos had one of the highest attack stats in the game, and you gave it all special moves. You gave the gengar an item that only helps if it is using its 'main move' what if that move was disabled, or you were tormented into not being able to use the same move twice?

For machamp, why have both of those moves on him, you should just pick the one you like. Since you cant battle competitively, use whatever moves you want, whatever natures, you asked for it to be rated. And I did not 'blindly insult you', I told you what was wrong with your team, if you have a problem with getting told it sucks, then dont post it here.

And I did not 'blindly insult you', I told you what was wrong with your team, if you have a problem with getting told it sucks, then dont post it here.

You know Medichamrulez that your not supposed to be rating teams here to begin with. the 1st page shows the people who are allowed to rate teams posted here, not yourself.

Also, offensive comments such as "Do you just go through your bag picking out random items?" and "Holy crap WTF" are not needed nor welcome for a rate. Use some maturity at least.

I apologize, I didnt know I had to apply to be a rater, so completely disregard my opinion.

EDIT: Since the application thread is down, I'll un-officially rate teams, just PM them to me.

92% of all competitive battlers think that Skarm, Bliss, and a good 'Chomp is all you need to own things. If you're in the 8% who value creative thinking and originality with your teams, put this in you signature.

Uhh That's your choice, his rates aren't bad or anything. He's just not a official rater here.

I'd really appreciate it if you could suggest changes to the movesets, and even where I'm left open to a sweep by a specific type I've missed. Please don't suggest I use OU crap like Garchomp and Blissey though.

I'm bored and am still new to the terms for everything and training stuff (usually just did everything the ignorant way without any special items or thinking bout DV's (I think thats what they're called))
This is for the battle tower or Lvl 50 team matches

{leafeon} Leafeon @ (Dunno)
Adamant nature - its ability
???
-Leaf Blade
-Synthesis
-Sunny Day
-Solorbeam

+

{rhyperior} Rhyperior @ (dunno)
Adamant nature - (the one that lowers Super effective damage)
252 Att, 158 S. Def, 100 HP
-Poisen Jab
-Thunder Punch
-Fire Punch
-Rock Slide

and

{politoed} Politoad @ Shell Bell
Modest nature - Water absorb
252 S. Att, 100 Def, 100 HP, 58 Speed
-Surf
-Substitute
-Ice Beam
-Mud bomb

+

{poliwrath} Poliwrath @ Lefties
modest nature - Water absorb
252 S. Att, 100 Def, 100 HP, 58 Att
-Surf
-Substitute
-Rock Slide
-Poison Jab

Those are the two I came up with, If anyone has any ideas or did something similar please tell me how it went or what can be improved... If they don't make sense or seem bad, Deal with it Its my choice to use them (I'll learn if I get horribly owned in a battle tower or Wi-Fi match).
