Blue was my FIRST EVER GAME and I love it dearly. I wish I could play it on my DS. Did anyone else get a Pokemon red or blue as their first video game? If so, how do you pay due respect to that little cartridge of joy?

I got blue first, then red! I for some reasoned liked red better because I had a lvl 94 blastoise

Gold was my first game that I actually owned (Christmas 2000), but Yellow was the first game I actually played (a friend lent me his). I devoured the Yellow version like candy, and when Gold came around, I did practically the exact same thing.

Yeah, Kanto and Johto were awesome.

Anyway, when I was six, my life fell apart. We moved to Buckinghamshire, and no one liked me. Blue was my one true source of solace. I still play it now because it is so good.

I was 8 in 1999, but Krisp was older still (10, I believe).

Yellow version was my first gameboy game and the first game I purchased myself, if that counts for anything, but GBC was my second game system. I was 7 back in'99 >.>

I got Red First. Then Yellow and finally, blue. I keep 'em in a Plastic Game package in a Silver Locked Box with my Brick-Sized Original gameboy. (i THINK its the original). I was 5 in 1999.

i got Pokemon Red but failed to beat it, then i got Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, i think im more of a Hoenn Starter than Kanto

The first game I tried was red. But my own first game was Crystal.

I think Red and Crystal are better than the new RSE, FRLG and PD. I doesn't feel right when I play RSE, FRLG and PD.

I started in Kanto but not with Red, Blue, or Yellow. I started with Leaf Green(My first Game Boy was a Game Boy Advance SP).

That's how I startet, too.
My friend showed me how to play Yellow. And them I asked my parrents to by a Pokémon game. I forgot to tell them wich game, so they bought Crystal.

I also think that it doesn't feel right when I play the new games.

my first game was red. i had all level 100 pokemon courtesy missingo cheat. i got all 150 pokemon.
but l left my red on top of my car wen i got home from a frend's house and forgot abt it. the car went out the driveaway and was gone.


i never saw my red again..........................

My first game was yellow and it was awsome! I play FireRed now and I love the graphics changes and the Islands. I hope they make an Eletric Yellow or something, for remake of yellow

I got Yellow Version as my first game, with a special gameboy color to go with it. My dad managed to get me a Mew at a Nintendo Event (or something - I was only 4, so I couldn't remember), and I accidentally started a new file... But I fixed it using the mew cheat (Although he did get me a Nindoking without a moonstone... )

Ahhh, the good ol' days.
