Not sure if this is the correct location, but I am not sure if I am folling this 100%
If I ev train any pokemon fully and then take them around and battle all other pokemon will the EVs change, or once they are maxed out they are set.
ex: I am training my Alakazam and I have it at 255 SpA and 255 Speed and the remaining are done with SpD now if I take it and use it to go through the E4 again will fighting all of their diff pokemon change the EV training that I have completed?
also if I use rare candies on it just to level it up does that have a negitive effect on anything?

when an EV is maxxed out, it is set, unless you use an EV reducing berry.
Rare candies do not have a negative effect, rather, if you choose to use rare candies, your pokemon will not gain EVs without battling.
In other words, if you max EVs and then rare candy to 100, then there is no negative effect.
If you rare candy to 100 and then decide to EV, i believe there is a way to do it using the PC, but it's really slow.

all right then. ev train using exp share/EVitems, and then rare candy to 100, or no EVs for you!

I'm sure the box trick works on Lvl 100s. At least it does on lower leveled Pokemon. Means my Lvl 100 Jolly Rayquazza with messed up EVs is useless

Once the EV is maxxed out it won't go higher. I think soon I'll EV train a brand new team.
