The game does ajust the levels of Pokemon to fit the levels required in the game, so don't worry about it Kabutops, you could train it to learn attacks it can only learn after level 50.

battle revolution was kind of a dissapointement... I enjoyed gale of darkness and colleseum. getting to run around and challenge all the different places was fun. plus revolution was really easy to beat.

^^^
From that I take it that you won all the colleseums in PBR once and stopped. You must have not played it later.... it get harder as you rechallange the colleseums when you defeat the Poketopia Master. It may start off easy but it does get really hard, much like the Battle Tower.

Hey guys, I've got a technical problem with connecting to my Diamond game.
It goes smoothly until I press "Connect to Wii" on my DS. Then the DS screens go white and the whole thing jams up. The Wii also doesn't seem to be able to receive anything when this happens. This is the first time I'm trying to connect, so am I doing anything wrong? What causes this problem?

A few things...
Tessa, sounds like you are doing everything right, sorry i can't be of more help... you might try enabling mystery gifting if you haven't already.
Big E, stop trolling. This game wasn't really meant to be played stand-alone, it even says it on the outside of the packaging. IT is fun for realtime wi-fi battles, for custom trainers, for seeing d/p pokes in 3-d, and getting rare items. Also, has some battle mechanics i haven't seen in pokemon before
2x4n4-> same here, i screwed my dusknoir, and am happy to get a second chance at him.
Chomps are easy. I'm rebuildng a bug party, when i'm done, i'll let you know and you can battle an imaginative team.

I liked the solar beam from coll better. I used it with groudon and it would shoot out of his mouth. Haven't seen hyperbeam yet, not a big fan of setting still for a turn
Ever notice that the look of the moves is getting better, but the pokemodels and skins aren't changing... very disapointing. Dark vs bugs eh? gutsy.
So far i think i'm going with
Shuckle, shedinja, Scizor, Vespiquen, Heracross, and Flygon (it's a pseudo bug right? like gyrados and charizard are pseudo dragons?)

OK. Im thinking about getting this game and couldnt see a specific questions thread so decided to post here :S And yes, I have looked for answers to these first, but nothing seems to be concrete.
Right. 2 questions really.
1. With the Pikachu/Electivire/Magmortar that you can download. How many of these may you download? Is it like Ranger where you only get 1 Manaphy egg per cart?
2. Is a wifi 2-vs-2 battle possible? i.e. if 4 people all have each others friend codes (or whatever theyre called), can they take part in one big 2-vs--2 battle?
Oh, and a third!
3. Are the shiny pokemon shiny?!

1: You can only download 1 of each pokemon per game card, but you can restart your DP/Battle revolution file to get more.
2: I really, really hoped this would be possible, but sadly, it isnt. Me and my friend were so excited when we thought we could combine our teams on wi-fi and battle together versus other people. But you cant. You can, however, do this in DS battle mode.
3: Ohhhh yes they are shiny and they look awesome.

I know that someone asked this question before but unless I have worse sight than I thought, it wasn't answered. Anyway, here's the question:
(drumroll)
Would an English Pokemon Battle Revolution (on an English Wii) be compatible with my US version of Pokemon Pearl?

In that case you should really try XD... it's better than Colosseum. PBR can't really be compared to those... it's not meant to be an RPG, it's just a quick way to get the new pokes into a 3-d game.... Just keep asking Nintendo for another shadow game and cross your fingers.

I agree. Battling random Colosseums like in PBR is nowhere even close to going around the world purifying shadow pokemon. Also, Colosseum and XD didn't require you to have a GBA and pokemon RSE to make it worthwhile.

I know im TERRIBLY late to be asking questions about PBR (im getting it for Christmas finally so...) but, here goes:
1. Can you battle 2vs2 like, Human and Human VS Computer and Computer? My cousin loves playing pokemon and it would be fun to team up with her.
2. I heard something about a "Friend Pass" and both trainers having to agree to it. Does this mean you can battle random people online, then add them to your friend roster?
3. Once you copy a team to PBR, does it stay there? How many teams can you copy to PBR on one save file? Can you copy one team to multiple PBR save files?
4. Is platinum version fully compatible with PBR (other than rotom, giratina, shaymin new formes)
That's all i can think of...thanks if you answer my questions.
...please??

This game is NOT compatible with GBA, but you can PalPark Pokemon to the DS, then Wi-Fi them to the Wii from the DS, and it DOES have internet accesability, but I sold PBR because I don't have a DS

PR, I know this is late, but for the sake of future people looking for the answers:
1. No, there is only 2v2 in DS Battle Mode, where you battle two humans against two humans. This is not wi-fi compatible, and you can only play 1v1 against a computer.
2. After you battle someone on wi-fi, a question pops up asking if you would like to battle again, if you say no/after your next battle, a question pops up asking if you would like to exchange friend passes. If both trainers agree, then you trade friend passes, which shows all items, nature, moves, and Pokemon on your pass. These can be used in Free Battles against another player or the computer.
3. Putting Pokemon onto PBR works like this: You go to a menu that says 'copy pokemon' and turn on your DS. After the title screen, an option shows up to connect to the wii. If you do this, all Pokemon, including those in your party and your boxes are copied into PBR, while still remaining on the game. This prevents cloning, and makes using them MUCH easier because you have access to all your Pokemon instead of having to trade them over one at a time. Once a D/P/Pt game has been connected to a save file, only that specific game (As in the save file on the DPPt, not as in all Diamond versions) will be able to connect. There are four save files on PBR, allowing for four different games to be copied
4. Platinum is fully compatible, barring the alternate forms of Rotom, Giratina, and Shaymin.

Here's a question I'm surprised nobody's asked.
How are the WiFi battling mechanics different in BR than in regular DS WiFi? I know there are at least a couple of different rules in BR WiFi, but I don't know what they are, what to prepare for, and more importantly, how the mechanics of building a good Team will change in BR compared to the DS.
Oh, and while I'm at it: how "big" is the BR scene? Does it have an active community, or am I not likely to find challengers who want to play? (Edit: I bought Mario Kart DS right around the same time Mario Kart Wii came out, only to find that the MKDS WiFi community was almost completely nonexistent anymore. I've got to wonder whether it's the same for BR and the new HG/SS games.)

Ok PBR is fun and all but the concept, like stadium, of just clicking and challenging does get a little boring (not for me yet I got it as an early b-day present last week.) oh and XD just has to be better and cooler! (although i've never played XD) and by the way...what is coliseum again? My minds gone blank...don't even bother to answer that last...
Oh by the way, I dunno if this has been said but...The game, mostly the damage is unrealistic...
Also the fact you can customize your character is kool!!!! If only you could do that on DS!
