The Official Fan Art Contest Thread: Finally Fourteen

 Hello Psypoke! I think this forum could use some more action, so I'm setting up this Art Contest Thread. Here's how it works: 1. I come up with the criteria for contest entries 2. Psypoke users submit their entries here untill ten have been submitted. You may edit your submissions untill that threshold is reached 3. I judge the entries based on creativity and construction (seamlessness) 4. The first and second place winners get their names recorded in the Hall of Fame here: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=26731 5. Then I come up with new contest criteria and the process repeats itself Contest 14: Retro Mayhem Do something using a sprite from Red, Blue, or Yellow. It could be a splice, or a revamp, or whatever. _________________ These past years have been great, and this community was a great one. Key word being was. Since my birthday last year, the site hasn't updated at all, and people have been slowly trickling away from the forums over the weeks. I've had this site as my internet homepage for ages, and I anxiously awaited the resurgence that I hoped would come. But it never came. So, it is with a heavy heart that I announce my permanent leave of Psypoke. As a moderator, I wished only the best for everyone here, and worked to maintain a jolly environment where everyone could discuss cartoon monsters in peace. Now, I wish all those who happen to be reading this message good luck in whatever endeavors you have chosen to pursue, and that your futures be bright. Mektar out. |

aw man, i was actually going to enter tomorrow..... but my vote goes to raydra!!! mostly due to the fact that i can't fathom how she moved rayquaza's stripes to the kingdra so flawlessly...... then again, my opinion doesn't count anyway, so.....

Galladrai. or Darklade. Darkglade? i don't know. its Gallade and Darkrai. he was listed underneath DPP legendaries, so i suppose he is one. And about the color scheme. i was using darkrai's colors but it blended all together too much. so the arms are darkrais, but its the color of gallade. so its kinda like a dress thing, if you think about it.

fusion of dppt's Mewtwo sprite and Machamp sprite!!! NOTE: I edited again after improving it a little bit ("seamlessness" was off, imo) EDIT3: god, wth, i can't get it to look rite on psypokes.... it looks so much better on my computer and gimp.... if entries are put in superfast for the other contests i probably wont get to participate. i'll be on vacation. my mother will have her laptop of course, but i doubt she'll let me use it to make pokemon. she finds my obsession with pokemon very childish XD and her laptop doesn't have gimp so i won't be able to make touch ups and make them transparent D: i wish i had a laptop of my own.
