there can't be any starter than todadile im sorry but there are no other starters other than todadile that stand out for me other than the exception of the gen V grass type cause he looks so cool

Well tbh, you only spelled Totodile wrong & used than instead of then in places...seems pretty good to me...

Also, seems like the people who like the other 2 starters besides the Grass Starter are finally coming in from migration...

Grass looks awesome, whilst Fire and Water are just... cute.

And besides Mudkip, I don't go for cute. So definitely Grass.

It might depend on what I think of further evolutions, but out of what I see I would pick the grass starter. I love his smug look. I actually think the otter is cute but there is a bit too much going on with his design.

I've got to say, the grass starter's smug look reminds me of one of my favorive children's books. And if you can't figure it out from my avatar and sig, then you fail.

Watch the Fire and Water starters get really awesome final evolutions and then the Grass one gets a really poor-looking one.

I don't usually cement my Start decisions until I've seen all the evolutions and such.

Sorry, I just can't stand another generation where in fire continues to get most of the attention. And I don't get it why the starters' base stat totals have to be different. I hope nintendo makes them all equal.

Well, this is the first Generation where I don't like the Fire-type AT ALL.

After seeing the new pokemon that was leaked recently, I say that the Fire starter should most likely have a promising final Evolution & as for the Water starter, there really is too much going on with it's design which got me to thinking that maybe it will have some very "unorthodox" final evolution(in terms of appearance anyway) that will look cool...I already said what I expect of the Grass starter, Constrictor Snake!...

I think the fire starters are usaly better better than the others. My favorite starter is Charzard.

I really love the otter, The pig is following in a close second or first, but the Snake is too much like treecko for me to even accept it as a new pokemon.

It seems to me that Water-types have the most bad*** evos half the time, so I think I'll choose Mijumaru.

For the other half, and say hi.

As far as the poll goes, I picked the Grass Snake. But the main factors in what I'd choose would have to be how the final evolutions looked and their typing. If I find a good electric type that looks good to me, then I think that I might drop the snake and go for one of the other two. Between the pig and otter, i'm not to sure.. pig looks pretty cool as a first stage, but I really like otters... just not this first stage.. but its all good! I'm hoping this generation they push the envelope for typing. lets get some strategy up in here!!

But it is pretty much asking which starter would you choose without knowing that, though I do agree with you that this thread came to be way too early...

Bit of a fat chance, sadly. Grass starters have the least base stat totals of all starters (525), followed by Water starters (530), Fire starters (except one) have 534, and Swampert has the highest (535).

I hope they change this in the 5th gen.
