They can. it's called illusion tho, implying that it's not an actual transformation; more of a projection, if you will (of course, this is totally conjecture on my part; i could be wrong).

...Vikasvonkrugar isnt the only fire type left in the game, plus, more than fire types can learn fire type moves
plus, how would a fire-type die in a fire? Highly unlikely.

As for now the only person I think did it was Vikasvonkrugar (because he has teeth & claws. He can use Fire and knows how to fly)
