So in BW there is a new option to allow items in wifi battles, from what's known you gain points each turn and can cash in the points to use items. It's still unknown if you can use any item or just select items like X attack, berries, Scared ash.
Do you think it will be accepted by battling communities? Or will it be claused/disallowed?

They will most likely ask you before the match starts, if you want to use it.

These past years have been great, and this community was a great one. Key word being was. Since my birthday last year, the site hasn't updated at all, and people have been slowly trickling away from the forums over the weeks. I've had this site as my internet homepage for ages, and I anxiously awaited the resurgence that I hoped would come. But it never came. lol, it'll definitely change battling strategy when allowed. I'm more curious to see how "standard" it will or won't become.

they will probably make certain tiers for items like Uber being Soul Dew or Sacred Ash and etc. But just in general i think this is a pretty bad idea.

From what I see in the corocoro scan the items shown don't match any known items. So the chance of it being balanced items is good.
Either way I not a fan of it, it's nice that there is an option to turn it off.
Also unlimited TMs

I say kill it. Somethings are better off as a concept and a novel idea. Using items during battles is exactly one of those things.

Doubtful it would ever be allowed in the metagames, it also seems like a fairly pointless idea.
