the fan with wings was a good idea, some sort of wind pokemon or griffins and spinxes which are mythical creatures, a blimp pokemon or maybe just maybe give land animals that normally don't have wings, wings. but there are few ideas that could be pure flying.
Game freak might be trying to imply something, maybe that nothing flies without help whether it be wings, a motor, hot air, or whatever wind is caused by two fronts that don't crash in to each other but just near each other it's natural and caused by opposites. It is hard to see how this idea would be carried out

Seriously, there isn't that much to argue. There were points where we all agreed, and it should have stopped then. Now people are coming up with ideas for the first pure flying, and that isn't what this thread is about. They aren't making a pure Flying because all of our non-elemental Flyings are dragons or birds. Any Flying which is based off any non-elemental, non-living thing would work. I agree with Krisp that this thread has extended to ridiculous proportions, and it has lost all meaning by now.

LOL, but yeah, pure flying will be interesting. It could be something that always fly or float. But like The Amber Mine said, the chances are slim.

I dunno if this has already been said, but a flying Eeeveelution would be pure flying type. Just throwing that out there.

Yeah, every Eeveelutions only has one type, but a Flying-type Eeveelutions isn't supposed to be exist. And it shouldn't be exist, we already have enough Eeveelutions.

if ur "happy little thread" has been bumped down, surely it must be less interesting than these 3 "retarded" threads. But the way GameFreak have done things, a Flying-type Eevee is actually quite likely. So that will have a 1000% chance of being pure flying. I'm quite sure that GameFreaks will do it eventually. When I started battling competitively in Emerald, we were all convinced that there was a "1/1000% chance" of there being a non-legendary as useful and good as Wobbuffet. Well, Garchomp came. We can't just say there's no way there will be a pure flying in BW. Unless ur dad works at gamefreak, of course. say if he is.

If they ever do make a pure flying type than it will be in the last gen which is not the 5th

If this has been said before sorry but if they were to make all types for eevee evolutions then the flying type eevee would likely use the Moon Stone and take on a Fairy quality to justify it's wings and normal attribute.

A few pages back there was a conversation about how a pure flying could come about and how an eeveelution for flying would be pure flying, I just offered up a way around the issue.
