Well, here's the ones from my new Soulsilver game. My last one was full of profanity and Urban Dictionary "word of the day"s. But so far, they're all french. And my persons name is Didier (pronounced Dee-Dee-Ay).

- male - Pompier (French for Fireman)
- male - Reve (French for Dream. because he eats dreams and stuff. lol)
- female - Esprit (French for mind. I would've used knowledge, but thats too long. and wise is Sage... no)
- female - Bastion (French for stronghold)
- male - Tonnerre (French for Thunder.)
- female - Navire (French for Ship, or Vessel. it's the transporting pokemon, so yeah)

I've taken french for over four years and have never learned any of that lol

I've taken it for 2, and I knew Bastion, Tonnere, and Navire, but the rest I translated online XD

I think the one that were taken from another language are pretty great, but i don't know any language beside my country's language and English.
I only have some in my Nuzlocke challenge.

I'm doing this with nick-names.

I'll ask a friend what they're favorite pokemon is and when they tell me I nickname if after them.

For instance, I have a;
named Grey
named Enrique, but that's actually supposed to be a named Enrique
I'm going to have a named Scott
a named Crystal
named AJ
named Gonzalo....And that's all I can think of right now.

I want to take my "nickname" and divide it between two pokemon. It's my PSN name, FrostRocket.

I want to give the Rocket part to a unless someone has a better suggestion.

And I don't know what pokemon to give the Frost part to. Any suggestions there?

When I used my old time fav Gyarados on my competitive team, I named it Ichiban. Ichiban means Number 1 in Japanese, I did this for many reasons. It was my first RNG egg pokemon, it was on my first competitive team, I used it in pokemon Red which was my first game. Just an old time favorite. I only nicknamed my pokemon one time, when I was RNG egg abusing my team. here is what I had:

Gengar Gasper - The Gas Ghost pokemon.... really not that creative but it worked
Gyarados Ichiban - Mentioned Above
Electivire Rumble Bee - It looks like Bumble Bee in Transformers but I liked the dodge rumble bee name more
Tyranitar Gojira - Japanese Godzilla
Skarmory Big Duo - From the anime Big O, Big Duo was his rival. I chose duo from the SkarmBliss duo at the time
Blissey Blisters - Being the second half of the annoying SkarmBliss combo, she was like blisters to opponents

When I get it, Snivy and up to Jalorda I will nickname Grython, grass+python or Gigaconda, giga+anaconda,
