Wanted: Artists wanted for drawing the Ex Dex pics. The Ex Dex is going online (literally) and I can't just put "No Pic Available" for almost everyone. Gryphflame has already volunteered her services, but I want to know if there are any more ppl out there who want to try.

Although coloured would be nice, maybe we should start with b/w. And maybe you could post some samples of your work. Perhaps we could do one pic each and then let the poke's creator choose which one to use. Start with Hammertoe, SneakySneasel's creation. We'll let SS decide which one to use.

Perhaps you should make a seperate thread form this one for people to post descriptions, then in that thread the drawing people from this thread can make whichever drawings they like. Then the creator of the Pokemon can decide which picture they like the most. I suspect this would make it more organized.

I am in exams period this week, so I have no time to draw. Friday's my last exam, but I'll probably go out with my college friends (we always celebrate the end of exams...), so it would be better for me to start in my first day of vacations (wich is saturday).

I could do a second example of the boar to illustrate my style for "cute" pokemon, which is quite different, but it would probably be more efficient if I tried another pokemon to demonstrate it. We've got a whole lot of pokemon to go through, so we should probably divide up the work in order to keep up with the people creating new ones

I'll help. Although I'm limited on free time this summer. It depends on how quickly you want the pictures. I've been moonlighting my artwork lately.

This may sound weird, but I'm like the Simon Cowell when it comes to art.

Tessa's: It's not bad, although the tusk placement is off, and the picture itsle flookslike you can find it in an ancient Mayan temple.

Aquarias': The curly tail...no. The face for some reason reminds me of a Primeape, with one eye twitching.

Gryph's: Not to offend Tessa or Aquarias, but your's is the best of the 3. It does look a bit less...boarlike though. And it needs to be a large, wooden mallet, like the one King Dedede has (Kirby's main rival guy).

Sorry if I offended anyone.

And I have to admit, I have the aritistic abilities of a tree stump, so if anyone could do more of my created pokemon (Slateon, Zebreal, Girafareal, Joeor, Kangakick, Roopunch, I think that's all of them...), that would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm... It appears no one replied to my ickle post of earlier.

Anyway... S_S, if you have the artistic ability of a stump, then I have the artistic ability of a large rock. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could do my Pokemon too. Unfortunately the Dex is huge, it would take ages to do all of everbody's pokemon. I really feel sorry for those of you with any artistic skill.

But I'd like to post a 'scription of Skeller, a made up Poke of mine, so here it is:

Skeller: It's pretty much a human skeleton, child size, with glowing eyes. It sits on a short stool and plays a flute. Pretty easy huh? Or maybe not, I have no idea about this whole artistic thing, sorry.

As a little help I'll extra info for some creative ideas:

It's a very calm Pokemon and is used to settle spirits of the dead. It is ghost type so it would likely have some kind of aura, though that is not necessary. Hope I'm not being too demanding...

I'll only be available to draw fakemon after this Friday (June 24th), so if you guys are not in a hurry, I'll draw them after this period.

What I can show you know are some drawings (off-topic) I made some time ago, so you can check if its worthy waiting for my art or not. They are all sketches, except from the Fox Warrior and the Joker Dragon

P.S. Not too big please. You'll ruin the formatting of the Ex Dex if you make it too big. If anyone out there can make fake sprites, them they'd be welcome too. After all, the more, the merrier.

I'd like to ask anyone who's got an ex-dex entry already in there and who wants me to draw it for them to PM me with a description- preferably a detailed one, so I have a lot to work from. Since these can end up taking a fair while, and I still have my own entries to illustrate, I'll open up for three sketches for now. Once these spots are full, please don't PM me with any other requests until I finish them:

Also, Sneak, since it's your birthday I redid the mallet. I'll post the picture when I have a chance to scan it. The head and hair were based on a celtic boar pendant I found somewhere (google, methinks).

Undead, could you PM me with a few extra details about your pokemon Skeller, if you'd like me to draw it? I'd like to add some ornamentation, but I'd like your advice as to whether that's okay, and which culture I should borrow from.

BTW, Tessa, did you see my comments in the dex its self about your dex page? I made a few comments about the formatting that you might want to consider, and reccomended a web host with fewer ads.

I said before that I had no artistic skill, but I'm okay at using Paint, I could try some spriting. I'm going to try to make Battle pictures for when they're you're opponent, and when it's your pokemon. I can't guarantee anything, but I'll try my hardest.

Aww... poor Skeller, he looks so sad. I really like it though, it's close to what I pictured, though he is a little shorter an fatter than I expected (can a skeleton be fat?)

To Gryphflame: Yes I took the tips. Just signed up for thefreesite but having some... obstacles with uploading. I'll do away with the frames altogether and leave a link to the menu. Currently doing #397. Nice pics too. I'll update Hammertoe.

Exactly. That's my vision of Hammertoe. I don't know how Sneaky_Sneasel wants his Hammertoe to look like, but that's the way I see him.
