Anyone who has been paying attention to the news lately might know something about the newest fear of America, imo. Not the cartels/drug war. Not the flu.
But a medical condition that makes people go apes**t. Now, the only info I have is that there were a total of five reported cases in Florida and California over the weekend. What happened was multiple police reports all with one thing in common (WARNING, ITS GRAPHIC): The police arrived on scene to find the belligerent naked and doused in blood, feasting on other humans. One case the taser was applied three times. Then the infected growled and tore out the hooks and charged. In all cases, it took about five shots to bring down the infected. Another thing: The infected dont speak. They grunt and growl. A classmate said that it is thought to be caused by LSD or a viral mutation from mice that is making its way into the human population. I did as much research as possible, the only thing I could find was a few articles that told me **** I already knew and a Cracked article. *shudders*
Although, it does seem to be a form of LSD. Or a brain parasite that makes you go insane and eats away at the cortex, making you revert back to your primal instincts. What Skeleton is getting at is that you need to provide links to these news articles, so that we can have a proper discussion.

I highly doubt that this is anything to worry much about. American media follows fads. One person does it then they dig up all the cases they can report on it. I mean yes its very creepy and disturbing. Its probably something linked to constant substamce abuse.
