Been a while since I've contributed, but what the hey, I'll vote.
up/ down
Latias has an awesome typing, is practically unstoppable with Soul Dew, and is a Legendary that you can see anywhere on Hoenn (although the running does get annoying). I've never played it, but from what I know, it would be fun (although with my ATK-oriented style, Latios would suit me better). Kingdra was nifty when it first came out, but its appearance is laughable, and it was so nerfed that they thought it could be replaced by an uber version in Pearl (plus the others) that ended up getting more jokes about its appearance.
While Kingdra would be great for some surprise, I know it's not viable when compared to Palkia (in Legendary-allowed matches, of course). Thus, it gets my boot vote.

*Gasp* Is the long-forgotten Latias turning the tides? Will the red dragon find herself a place among the all-blue finals team? Find out the exciting result...right after this bandwagon! +1 / -1 - Great typing, unstoppable with Soul Dew, amazing bulky sweeper or supporter, and still very cute and friendly. It's hard not to agree with AEPMT's detailed reasoning. - Well...y'know, it's cool and awesome typing and all but tough choices are to be made in desperate times! Hmm...looks like friendly, elegant (bonus points if fluffy) dragons instead of menacing, ferocious beats are getting the fan support nowadays! *Goes back to edit finals stuff* 17 May Edit: Double Posting is Bad, Triple Posting WorseAlllrighty, Round 17 is now concluded! Round 17 Scoreboard wrote: Altaria ImmuneLatias +3/-0 IMMUNITY GAINED! ...?Kingdra +1/-3 THE TIDES HAVE CHANGEDLugia +0/-1 However, the final rounds are not coming quite yet, since I still have to smooth out the crazy stuff and also since I'll be away starting this weekend until...Tuesday? And to ensure that the finals run perfectly I will postpone it a little bit. Please bear with me!

Crowds and crowds of Pokemon from faraway have gathered to watch the final showdown between the top three: Lugia, Altaria, and Latias. Excitement, tension, and speculation filled the place. But just before the final match could begin, pitch-black darkness engulfed the entire arena. A huge draconic creature descended from the darkness, bringing with it shadows and chaos. It spread its wings wide and began charging a beam of pure terror, headed towar- - - - - : Greetings, foolish Psypokians. I am the great, the mighty, the exalted master of all corrupted Pokemon – Shadow Lugia! I see that you are in need of a game host, then I, so noble and kind, shall take that burden upon myself! Alas! How did you peasants endure those 17 rounds of pure boredom? Time for SL to teach you about what’s fun: a staged three-way fight to the death!
The Rules wrote: - Each of the Pokemon has two attacks: Lugia: Aeroblast: Self +3 | Extrasensory: Self +2, selected foe -1 Altaria: Dragon Dance: Self +3 | Perish Song: Self +1, both foes -1 Latias: Mist Ball: Self +3 | Dragon Pulse: Self+1, selected foe -2 - Each move has 5 PP, meaning that one move can't be used more than five times in one round. - Each voter is allowed to vote once each round, by choosing one Pokemon and using one of its attacks. For example: Random Guy wrote: Lugia used Aeroblast (+3)! Random Gal wrote: Altaria sang the horrifying Friday Perish Song (+1, -1, -1)! Random Alien wrote: Latias fired a powerful Dragon Pulse (+1, -2) at Altaria! * It's optional but helpful to add the numbers as shown in the examples. The flavor text, of course, is optional. - There will be two rounds, each lasting three days. - Additional rules may be implemented when the need arises. Now there's only one more thing before the match starts... Lemme find my blindfold and launch a Shadow attack at whoever the most unlucky. Mwahahaha!
Scoreboard wrote: Latias: +3/-0 Lugia: +0/-2 Altaria: -- Ah ha, Latias started off with 3 points due to its victory in the last round, while that failure of a Lugia seems to be the victim of my random attack, receiving 2 damage! And now... It’s time to GET VOTING!
- - - - Q&A:Whatever happened to the original host, ShinyLucario? Do not ask about that SparklingRaccoon or whatever he was called. I do not know him. I have never seen him. I would never blast someone with darkness and hide the body afterwards. If you’re really as powerful as you claimed, why don’t you enter the competition yourself? W-what do you mean? My awesomeness is beyond measure, of course! I need not such silly contests to prove myself, obviously. I see, I see. You’re afraid of being shamed by the fluffy cotton bird, the red jet dragon, and the one and only real Lugia. WHAT? DARE YOU CALL ME A COWARD? *fires Shadow Blast* THIS SUBJECT IS CLOSED. I have other questions! / This part is a bit confusing for me. / Y'know, this suggestion could really make the game a lot better. Hoho, it's only natural that peasants would be confounded by my profound knowledge! Yes, I would graciously allow any questions from you... As long as I'm in a good mood.

^ This made my day Anyway, Lugia is going to use AEROBLAST on himself and hopefully have a chance against Latias: Scoreboard wrote: Latias: +3/-0 Lugia: +3/-2 Altaria: +0/-0 P.S. Is there going to be anymore immunity, since if SL hadn't taken over, Latias would have gotten immunity? (Yea, I'm one of the confused peasants...)

: Oh ho ho! How very nice of you people to update the scoreboard though I didn't specifically ask for so! This is most excellent - you're all quickly becoming obedient servants of moi! Ahahahha- *choke* *cough cough* BLEH! Now, now, looks like I have to tend to you poor peasants' problems:
Shuckle-rock$ wrote: ^ This made my day Yes yes, I've always been such a fascinating person Pokemon aren't I? Imaging all the fun we'll get when I take the entire forum- no, the entire internet under mah control! Mwahahaha- *cough* Somebody hand me a Fresh Water...
Shuckle-rock$ wrote: Is there going to be anymore immunity, since if SL hadn't taken over, Latias would have gotten immunity? Oh my, didn't you read this is going to be a "staged three-way fight to the death"? We can't have someone hiding behind a barrier safe from all those lazer beamz and evil music! What fun is in that? Of course, I was kind enough to grant Latias a headstart of 3 points!
Dare234 wrote: I think I did that right... Of course you did it right, clevah boy.
Now now, let's see how many more peasants would join in this festive battle before match 1 ends on Saturday, or maybe Sunday. Remember, damaging moves might not look much but you never know how nasty they can be unless you try them out!

: Well well, this isn't the most exciting match, to say the least. I guess my rules are a tad too complex for the fragile peasant minds!
Final Round, Match 1 wrote: Latias: +3/-0 Lugia: +3/-2 Altaria: +6/-0 But this is very exciting, yes indeed! The recurring champion Lugia has FINALLY BEEN DETHRONED AND I SHALL BECOM- Err, I mean, what a surprise that the incredibly popular Johto mascot is at such a disadvantage while the often-ignored cotton bird of Hoenn took the lead! What a change of tides!
Of course, it's time to launch the RNG another random Shadow attack on some unfortunate creature! Mwahahaha!
Final Round, Match 2 wrote: Latias: -- Lugia: -- Altaria: +2/-1 Ohoho! Altaria got a headstart of 2 points for its performance in Match 1, but it was also the unfortunate victim of my attack, robbing it of one point!
Hmm... something seems amiss to moi. As if the rules missed something or the moves aren't balanced or... Bleh, couldn't think of anything better right now. Anyways... The second half of the epic tortures finale shall BEGIN......NOW!
May the shadows haunt you, ~Shadow Lugia

Latias used Mist Ball, since Dragon Pulse wouldn't really do anything good at this point in the game. Final Round, Match 2 wrote: Latias: +6/-0 Altaria: +2/-1

Altaria swirled and twirled, performing the ancient dance of dragons. Strength of legendary heroes surged through her, and she shimmered with a silvery white glow. Shadow Lugia must've sensed something was wrong when he saw Altaria encased entirely in white light... but it was too late. The cotton bird launched a mighty Sky Attack that broke through the murky shadows, headed right for Shadow Lugia. With a despairing roar, the shady beast was blasted to smithereens, the shadows surrounding the arena dispersing with him. - - - - "We gather now for the grand crowning ceremony of Altaria," said the announcer over the loudspeaker. "Not only much recognized by her people, Altaria displayed incredible capability in defeating the evil Lugia clone and bringing peace to the land. May she enjoy a long and peaceful reign!" - - - - And that finally wrapped up this four-and-a-half-month long PEC! More or less, I think I've learned something from this experience - when is not a good time to start a forum game and how irresponsible you'll look as a game host if you don't update until a week past the deadline, for a start. I tried some crazy things with the final round, and I hope at least I had made a remarkable conclusion for this game. Of course, I want to thank every single person who participated! I might or might not return with another PEC or... another forum game, even? We shall see... TL;DR Version: THE END. KTHXBAI. First two images taken from Bulbagarden Archives Third made by meYes, I made Altaria female for the story. Problem? And yes, I know that picture is actually Altaria using Refresh and it isn't really silvery white. Couldn't find a better one. *shrugs*

Nice game SL. That was a great idea with the special ending too!

Aww thanks. If I am to ever host another game, I'll be sure to put in more creative writing to liven things up. By the way, how's round 3 of the Siege of Psypokia coming? No pressure though
