Huh? How did Kanto Safari Zone become so lively again all of a sudden? I guess my hiatus was a little too long. But- hey look! Voting! Group 5: 5: - An elegant, though often overlooked, avian 4: - A downright powerhouse 3: - Best of the Hitmon Brothers 2: - It's simply amazing how a beauty can sprout (pun not intended) from such an ugly family 1: - I never liked it. Then I somehow decided to put it on one of my OCs' team and...boom. It's now one of the sweetest Pokemon to me Group 6: 5: - An elegant swimmer and my favorite Kanto Pokemon (along with Arcanine, of course) 4: - Not too good competitively, but you gotta love this gentle giant! 3: - A very...interesting Electric type, with equally interesting design! 2: - Owls are awesome 1: - Cool (lol) Pokemon that deserves some love

I'm sorry to say, but DragonPhoenix hasn't updated this game in a couple months, so there's no point in voting. Just make sure you check how old the last message is in a topic before you post something.

Hello!
Firstly just gotta say sorry for not updating this thread in a while (a long while it seems!) however I'm at a point in my life where I have to prioritise other relationships, and dont have much spare time to myself as I used to. Initially when I started this topic I thought my uni schedule would've been cleared enough for my summer holidays for me to be able to run this without any hitches, however as I've mentioned this hasn't been the case (eg: I just spent a month overseas which was kind of a whimsical kind of decision, I signed up for a summer subject which has me flying out to South Africa in a month, etc..etc... )
I'd be more than happy if someone else wanted to run the thread in a similar fashion to the way I ran the first thread, because although I can make periodic checks and so forth this activity actually requires me to invest 1-2 hours of my time about every 3 days consistently for about 2-3 months which I don't think I can actually do anymore.
So once again I'm actually really sorry about not being able to host this, as I anticipated it to be a really great thread but just due to time constraints I don't know if it would be worth trying to salvage.

It would be an honor if I could host it! But I'm still working on my app for co-host.

In light of the recent events, DragonPhoenix has kindly handed the perks of being host over to me. Now, I'm not going to close the round for another 18 or so hours, mostly because I have to get the next round prepared to go and close this round. So, if you haven't voted in the time of the last two months, you'd best get them in now! Here are the current standings: Group 5
1. Heracross-14 2. Articuno-14 3. Flaafy-13 4. Porygon-13 5. Hitmontop-7 6. Seaking-5 7. Macargo-5 8. Gyarados-5 9. Seadra-3 10. Bellossom-3 11. Quagsire-3 12. Chikorita-1 ----- Group 6 1. Lapras-16 2. Meganium-12 3. Ampharos-12 4. Sneasel-9 5. Noctowl-9 6. Donphan-8 7. Omastar-8 8. Wobbuffet-7 9. Rhydon-5 10. Girafarig-1
So, if you're a supporter of any pokemon that is ranked #6 or lower, and you haven't voted, it is probably in your best interest that you vote for said pokemon. EDIT: No, I didn't miss any, the ones that aren't on the list ended up recieving zero votes. They can still be voted for, though.

I just hope you 're not setting a necromancer trap...
Group 5 5. Gyarados: One of my favourite Pokemon ever since I saw the red one in Gold. 4.Hitmontop: A decent fighting type. 3.Porygon: A Pokemon representing technology. It also evolves into one of my favorites, Porygon-Z. 2. Seadra: Evolves into Kingdra, which rocks. 1. Heracross: One of my favorite bug types.
Group 6 5. Rhydon: A really nice rock type, evolves into Rhyperior, which is among my favorites. 4. Sneasel: A swift and cunning dark type. 3. Meganium: I like it more than the others. 2. Donphan: I like it more than the others. 1. Omastar: I like it more than the others.

And here I am, doing my job! Last Round was a long one, with the original host dropping out, and the interim host being horribly apathetic (shame on him). Here are your results of the last round:Group 51. Porygon-16 QUALIFYING2. Heracross-15 QUALIFYING3. Articuno-14 QUALIFYING4. Flaafy-13 QUALIFYING5. Hitmontop-11 QUALIFYING6. Gyarados-10 Wildcard7. Seaking-5 8. Macargo-5 9. Seadra-5 10. Bellossom-3 11. Quagsire-3 12. Chikorita-1 Not much upsets in this Group, unless you count Gyarados making a mad dash and taking the wild card spot away from Seaking as an upset. Articuno, the only legendary, made it to third as heracross was booted down to second by a victorious Porygon!QUALIFYING: {flaafy} Group 61. Lapras-16 QUALIFYING2. Meganium-15 QUALIFYING3. Sneasel-13 QUALIFYING4. Ampharos-12 QUALIFYING5. Donphan-10 QUALIFYING6. Rhydon-10 Wildcard7. Omastar-9 8. Noctowl-9 9. Wobbuffet-7 10. Girafarig-1 This one was a close one! Lapras defended its place from Meganium, whilst Sneasel passed up Ampharos by a margin of one vote! Donphan overthrew Noctowl and split the spoils of his victory amongst himself and his ground-type comrade Rhydon, whom seizes the Wildcard slot.QUALIFYING: I present to you... The next. Two! Groups!GROUP 7Croconaw Sunkern Granbull Tauros Chinchou Kabuto Natu Ledyba Kangaskhan Piloswine Steelix Mr. Mime Ledian GROUP 8Togetic Sunflora Spinarak Electabuzz Suduwoodo Koffing Tyranitar Mewtwo Crobat Goldeen Flareon Miltank Swinub This round will close on Monday my time (to put simply, it's about 12am my time when I post this, so you have around 72-88 hours to vote). Voting format goes as follows: 5. (most preferred) 4. 3. 2. 1. (least preferred) You have a go for voting, and a happy New Year as we restart the voting in Battle Royale 2!

Yayyyy! Thanks Samurott for running this =))) I will still help you run this if you need me to (might set up some graphics for you when we get to the knockout stages, unless you want to redo them of course!) but for now here are my votes.
GROUP 7 5. Ledian 4. Tauros 3. Kangaskhan 2. Croconaw 1. Steelix
Ledian is a great underrated Pokemon who often gets overlooked so I'm hoping he'll pull off a Beedrill-esque run here in this competition. I used to run a Tauros back in the RSE meta days in my mono-normal team, and its elusiveness in games makes my capture of him kinda special! Kangaskhan is also another Pokemon I like, whilst Croconaw and Steelix I think are far too good to be ignored from entering the next round. (this seems to be a weaker group than previous groups though!)
GROUP 8 5. Tyranitar 4. Flareon 3. Mewtwo 2. Crobat 1. Togetic
Tyranitar was on my allstars team, back when I tried to complete the dex in LG (along with Charizard, Sceptile, Kingdra, Dragonite and Salamence) so he gets the full 5 votes from me. Flareon I've always liked design wise, don't know if anyone knows but I'm very found of cuddly bro-tier fire types with crappy movesets. Mewtwo is in my choices because I think the competition needs a big favourite to make it more interesting. I used to have a shiny Crobat in my aforementioned LG file (which I never used..) and Togetic is a Pokemon that has ended up in the majority of my GSC playthroughs.

My votes!
Group 7: 5. Ledian: Not exactly sure. Its Comet Punch probably. And the look of its face. 4. Croconaw: Feraligatr's previous form (yay Feraligatr) and quite funny looking in my opinion. 3. Steelix: I like its amazing Defense. 2. Tauros: Well, it's wild. Wild is good. 1. Piloswine: I like it more than the others.
Group 8: 5. Mewtwo: My 2nd fav legendary, my 4th fav Pokemon, the power of technology showing everyone real power. 4. Tyranitar: Respect to all weather leads. 3. Crobat: Its speed is very good, and it can utilized for many purposes in battles. 2. Sudowoodo: Love it from GSC, I always used it since the League. 1. Electabuzz: Electivire's first form, and an old favorite from Gen I.

Rhydon no! Great, now I have to find some way of rigging the wildcard. Group 7: 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. Nothing to say here really. Pretty meh group imo. Group 8: 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. Crobat's amazing. Tyranitar is Tyranitar. Spinarak evolves into Ariados. Mewtwo needs no explanation (but I don't want it to win). Flareon's the best of the rest.

And that is it, my fellow Psypokians! Let's go immediately to tallies!GROUP 71. Ledian 26 QUALIFIED2. Steelix 12 QUALIFIED3. Tauros 11 QUALIFIED4. Chinchou 10 QUALIFIED5. Kangaskhan 7 QUALIFIED6. Piloswine 7 Wildcard7. Natu 7 8. Croconaw 6 9. Sunkern 5 10. Kabuto 5 11. Ledyba 4 12. Granbull 3 13. Mr. Mime 2 Even if you may not like one, deal with it. Because Ledian destroyed the competition! Of course, that left Steelix, Tauros, Chinchou, Kangaskhan, Piloswine, and Natu to battle it out, and battle they did! I had to break a threeway tie and I opted to leave out Natu, since my relationships with the other two are much more healthy than that of Natu's. Nothing against the psychic bird, just luck wasn't on its side. However, this match was a first for Battle Royale 2 (if I'm correct), as every competitor in this group recieved a minimum of not one, but TWO votes! Wow!QUALIFYING: GROUP 81. Tyranitar 22 QUALIFIED2. Flareon 20 QUALIFIED3. Mewtwo 18 QUALIFIED4. Crobat 17 QUALIFIED5. Electabuzz 8 QUALIFIED6. Suduwoodo 8 Wildcard7. Spinarak 5 8. Goldeen 3 9. Sunflora 2 10. Togetic 1 11. Swinub 1 12. Miltank 13. Koffing This one was more or less one sided for the top four. Flareon was shown some love, but still was beat by a fan favorite, Tyranitar, by two votes. DragoBoy is probably disappointed that Crobat could not overtake Mewtwo and stayed in fourth place. Then Electabuzz and Suduwoodo just chilled out as they had no care in the world.QUALIFYING: Here are your next groups:GROUP 9Politoed Magby Ariados Espeon Kabutops Totodile Yanma Delibird Weezing Remoraid Scizor Snorlax Jumpluff GROUP 10Feraligatr Slowking Corsola Tyrogue Porygon2 Magikarp Umbreon Moltres Skarmory Ditto Pupitar Dratini Teddiursa So, remember to vote! This match looks pretty interesting, given there is a lot of favorites. And if anyone is brave enough, vote for Magikarp, and I'll send you 10 dollars in useless forum money!</completely kidding. don't expect anything>

Votes for groups 9 and 10
Número 9... Fail... 5. Politoed: the original green frog. Suck it Froakie. 4. Espeon: useful, most of the time. 3. Ariados: good bug type. 2. Totodile: why would people use Sandile when they have a cute little alligator 1. Magby: eventually evolves into an awesome fire type.
Número 10... Again fail... 5. Magikarp: could destroy Mewtwo with the click of a finger. Well, fin... Arceus doesn't even come close. 4. Umbreon: same as Espeon 3. Ditto: the shapeshifter. Useful when you know how to use it. 2. Moltres: great. Just don't use it against a rock type... 1. Teddiursa: the cutest little teddy bear that evolves into the cutest little bear that will rip your face off.

You guys do know I was kidding about voting for Magikarp, right? Also, a few things to add that I somehow missed in the voting announcement post. 1. This match will end around 5pm EST (That's GMT -5 for those who aren't in North America.) Friday. 2. And DP wasn't kidding, this does absorb about 2 or 3 hours of your time. That is all.
