Can we select our type now or should we wait until the tournament is open?

@Dare I would say wait on choosing your type until signups begin, if you odn't mind.

@Cherrygrove-Sleep Clause-You cannot put more than one of your opponents Pokemon to sleep. However self induced sleep does NOT count.

What this means you have a Breloom and it uses Spore on an opposing Hippowdon, it connects and the Hippowdon is now sleeping. If your opponent switches out to a Infernape, you cannot use Spore on the Infernape to put it to sleep.

On the other hand your opponent has a Miltank and it uses Rest to go to sleep and switches out to an Infernape when you bring in your Breloom. You can use your Breloom's Spore to put the Infernape to sleep, since your opponent used Rest on their Miltank.

Any of these Pokemon cannot be used with one minor execption. Blaziken may be used as long as it has Blaze for its ability. The reason for this is because alone Blaziken is not bad, but with Speed Boost it becomes a monster and why it is in the Uber category. Other Pokemon that are also banned are Pokemon with unreleased Dream World abilities, and that is a list I will compile later. If anyone else wants to make it be my guest.

Also, it wasn't clear whether two or more people could use the same type or if you cannot use a type that someone else has already selected.

Oh my species clause didn't get into the copy pasta. Yeah no species clause is going to be in full effect. (Don't worry I'm going to actually rewrite all the rules).

No once a type gets selected when I get the thing started it will be out, just to try and get a diverse typing for everything. That way we wont have all dragon teams going at it. However I will leave it up to the masses. If you can only have a certain type that gets nabbed early I will consider letting multiple typing exist in the tournament on a case by case basis.

Drizzle and Swift Swim will be allowed on the same team, this was always the case in past rain teams. (Plus most mons that have Swift Swim are don't even break the base 100 speed mark, only Floatzel does this) This adds to the edge on protecting your weather creator and adds another level of strategy to a possible weather war. Pokemon with unreleased Dream World abilities are banned since you cannot legally have them yet without cheating.

Now the evasion clause that I have set is the one I have used forever in tournaments here. Any direct change through a move of evasion and accuracy are banned (Double Team, Sand Attack, etc.) whilst moves that have a secondary chance of lowering accuracy and abilities are allowed (Sand Veil, Snow Cloak, Accupressure, Metronome, etc.) This once again, mainly for the weather part, is to add to the stress of the battle for you to win a weather war that you may or may not encounter. Moves like Accupressure are allowed since you have no control whether or not the effect will happen or what will happen.

If Moody is released on a mon as of yet it is allowed, if not then no. Reasoning its like Accupressure you cannot control it and are taking a big risk by using it.

No I only have ever used Somgon for the tier listing. The way that they have their rules irk me sometimes.

@ChillBill-If at all possible use WiFi, but if you cannot then use PO. I understand the woes of not being able to use WiFi so I'm going to try and not limit. However if your opponent cannot or does not want to use PO let me know and we will work something out.
