Keep in mind ... the Pirouette Forme changes her base stats, boosting
her Attack to 128, her Defense to 90, and her Speed to 128. The
downside: her SpA and SpD fall to 77.


I think this Meloetta is strongest in Pirouette Forme. Smogon mentions a
viable mixed set, though I don't know if it's doable with her having a
measly 3 IV's in SpA, and no boost via nature. Though, it has been said
that she still packs a punch even without investment in SpA. EVs could
possibly be tweaked to compensate? Possibly used on a rain team.


Serene Grace increases secondary effects. Of her physically offensive
possibilities (worth mentioning) ...

Brick Break (STAB) - 75 base pwr, Breaks/ignores screens - 100% chance
(sans Ghosts).
Close Combat (STAB) - 120 base pwr, lowers user's Def/SpD.
Low Sweep (STAB) - 60 base pwr, Reduces Spd 1 stage - 100% chance.
Shadow Claw - 70 base pwr, Critcal Hit - 40% chance.
Stone Edge - 100 Base pwr, already High Critical Hit ratio doubled.
Zen Headbutt - 80 base pwr, Flinch rate - 40%

Worth keeping? If so, any recommendations/alterations for her moveset/EV's? Your input is greatly appreciated ...

For Melo, CC over Stone Edge, and Shadow Claw over Psychic. That is the moveset my friend uses for his, and the one I'm trying to get for myself. The nature was Naive.

Yours looks amazingly good save for the SpAtk IV and its nature (a Speed-boosting nature is probably best, since Melo's base Speed to start off with is rather mediocre). I'd recommend trying again to get a better nature and hopefully a better IV set, but if you want to keep that one as is, then more power to you.

I kind of felt that one coming, DNA. Grrrrrrrrr! Right Nature ... bad IV's. Good IV's ... wrong Nature. Blasted Murphy's gotta have a hand in this!
