Apparently Wobuffet is returning to Team Rocket's roster in the Anime for the X and Y journey.

I bet 100 psybucks that means we'll see a MegaEvolution for Wobuffet.

They might as well have dropped Meowth when they dropped Wobbuffet. Team Rocket isn't meant to be truly competent, although their demeanor in the early days of Best Wishes reminds me of the early days of the anime - or at least the first episode or two… In effect, by dropping Wobbuffet, they were dropping their comedic effect.

Besides, what would Mega-Wobbuffet do? Have a boosted HP? Be given a Steel-subtype? His moves and ability define who he is already. It's possible, but I don't find it probable, for the same reason I can't see them give a 'mega'-Slaking a new ability. Some pokemon are defined by what they have and that's it.

Still, I'm glad to see Wobbuffet's return! He was greatly missed!

If he comes back with a Mega, I would be the happiest ever. He would look like his tail is taking over his body. I think he would gain/lose...

Lower Speed...

Scary Face, Growl, and Tail Whip for attacks...

I have no idea what else would be added. But I like the idea!



But sadly, I agree with Frost in a way. Team Rocket became out of character once left.

Wouldn't it be awesome if TR disappeared for a few episodes then came back with Weezing and Arbok again. And they had MegaEvolutions. I'd cry. I'd just cry everywhere.


And I always hated Gardenia after she took Cacnea :'(

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I was in disbelief when I first saw that episode. It was as bad as when Ash left Charizard behind, and when Misty left Togepi(/tic). If they would return with Wobbuffet, even if they didn't have mega-forms…well, I don't know what I would do. It would be great, though.

If Wobuffet, Arbok, AND Weezing came back...

NOSTALGIA ALL OVER THE PLACE!

They need to do one season of Pokemon Chronicles were they meet up with the old Pokemon instead of characters. Tracey and Professor Oak could help Ash'a Pidgeot defend his/her flock of Pidgey. Professor Gary Oak hunts down some Pokemon Poachers with the aid of a surprisingly friendly and familiar wild Arbok and Weezing. Brock and Misty meet up at the beach and Ash'a Lapras comes in from the ocean, maybe with an egg for Misty? Sabrina has Ash'a Haunter, Ambipom is a Ping Pong Star, Primeape is in training as the current reigining Pokemon1 Fighting Champion, Butterfree is somewhere off having babies, and instead they show us boring stories like, oh I don't know, the first half of the B&W series?

I would give anything to write for Pokemon.

EDIT: I could even handle seeing Max again if he were going back for that Ralts... :,)
