Okay, so I just came back from vacation, and I had to catch up...
The first mark, I have no idea who gave it to me, and now I know that DNA has given me one. (sad) The third is only an item, the Tequila. It give me a temporary mark, but I can pass it like right now. I'll give it to DNA, he will probably know what to do with it.
And that's it! If you have any questions feel free to ask me.

...isn't it in the rules that you're not allowed to post in the night phase? I mean, it should be obvious people. Also HW the day is late speed up.

Actually it doesn't appear to be in the rules. I don't see why it should be obvious; it was never a rule around here until what I call the PokeBeach influence phased in.

It's unofficially against the rules. HW said something about it to JsXtm(?) the first(?) night.

Yeah guys, please stop posting at night.

Since I don't feel like diving through what happened over night, since very little happened, I'll just be frank.
Marks: GhostPony750 - 2/4 Kiga - 1/4 Fletchling - 2/4 DNA - 1/4
Our death this night was JsXtm! He was:Quote: NAME: Joel FRANCHISE/ALIGN: TLoU/NS
A survivor of the Cordyceps outbreak, you are a badass with only one thing in mind: keeping Ellie safe. Sure, you're selfish, but it could be worse. You could be a cannibal.
Active Ability: Stepdad You will protect Ellie if a human character targets her with a harmful power.
Immunity: Shiv You cannot be seen or killed by the Clicker.
Power 1: El Diablo OHKO the Bloater if you find it.
Power 2: Heightened Hearing PM me HEAR THE ENVIROMENT once a Night to possibly learn of what has happened during that night.
Power 3: Joel's Rage Maim whoever harms Ellie.
WINCON 1: The Cordyceps are killed, and Ellie is still alive. WINCON 2: All threats are eliminated and Ellie survives.
Notes: The Identity of Ellie will be revealed in a separate PM. Day 3 ends on the 12th!

oh dear, this isn't good
First, a mark analysis:
~I marked Fletchling tonight. I gave him 1 mark. I don't know who gave him the other one. ~My mark is from the Tequila that GP said he would pass to me (and he did). Thus, GP had 2 permanent marks, plus 1 temporary one, which I now have. ~Kiga admitted to having the birdseed, which explains her 1 mark.
That means the only mark unknown as of yet is Fletchling's 2nd one. I marked Fletchling tonight because 1) I got no suggestions on who I should mark, and 2) he claimed that he could heal marks from himself with the birdseed in some way, so I wanted to test that claim. I didn't expect someone else to mark him too.
And now for the night kill.
...by the looks of it, it looks like we are down a very strong role. JsXtm's role might be one of a kind, but just looking at his card alone, he looks pretty powerful. His HEAR THE ENVIRONMENT effect was probably what alerted him to my placing a mark on him, so he appears to have been telling the truth. I don't believe anyone actually voted for him, so we can't analyze any guilty parties based off that.
His role also seems to name 3 other role names: Clicker, Bloater, and Ellie. The former two appear to be creatures he hunts or is looking for, and the latter appears to be someone he is trying to protect. Now that he's dead, though...whoever among us is Ellie is now in extreme danger, because it's very likely that whoever killed JsXtm, aka Joel, is going to go after Ellie next. And whoever Clicker and Bloater are, well, they're probably relieved.
So if you are Ellie, I recommend you keep that information to yourself. Revealing or even hinting at it will probably be your death warrant. I'm curious, though - if Ellie died before him (SOMEHOW), he couldn't win. Wonder what would have happened then. ...I'll ask HW after the game is over.
His role also mentions a species name 'Cordyceps', but I have no idea what that means.

That gave us some useful information about the game itself, but we're at a serious loss without his HEAR THE ENVIRONMENT. Does anybody else have any info-gathering abilities?
I did some googling on the stuff in JsXtm's role card. I think the Cordyceps bit is just flavor. Google says TLoU stands for The Last of Us, and the Cordyceps is from that game. They're the cause of the infection. Unless this game features random people getting infected by fungi and turning into zombies, I think we can ignore that part safely. The Clicker and Bloater are both from The Last of Us, too. They're types of zombies. There's several stages of infections, with Clickers and Bloaters being the most dangerous/infected. I'm not sure why we can't just look at them to find out who they are, since from the TLoU wiki it seems like they're supposed to have fungal growths all over the place. Clickers and bloaters are both barely recognizable as human.
Didn't HW's description at the beginning of the game include both zombies and aliens? Where are the aliens?

I'm going to guess the aliens haven't come up yet, if they're in the game at all. I haven't see any hints of aliens being around, as far as I could tell.
By the looks of it, based on JsXtm's role card, there is exactly 1 clicker and 1 bloater each in the game (since it's saying the Clicker instead of the Clickers). Then again, I'm not sure why there would be duplicate roles of anything, so I guess that's a bit of a moot point.
But yeah, if anyone has any information, please share. I'm most curious of all how Fletchling got a 2nd mark. Fletchling, or someone else, any news? And I'm assuming Kiga still has the birdseed? Is that correct, Kiga?

It'd be kinda weird for him to still have the birdseed. Didn't HW say that any non-passed items would get dropped?
And could you clarify a bit why you're marking people?

I was under the impression that it was to be dropped, but I haven't received a notice saying that it was. I suppose I could try:
Pass Birdseed to Fletchling
That's about the only guess I have about passing items, as I have yet to see anything official on passing, aside from the confirmation that it's possible, from that warning last night. Either way, I don't intend to hold onto it, so I'm hoping that statement works.
Given the flavor text of the situation, could it be possible that the Clicker and the Bloater are the scum?
Anyway, Fletchling is implied to be a bird, isn't he? Given his ability to heal (daily?), maybe it would make sense if he receives double marks or something due to his 'frailty'. I don't know, that's my best guess, aside from him actually being Ellie, and somehow being harmed during Joel's death, but I don't know if that really makes sense.
You have the ability to make a mark during the night, DNA? Is it something that you have to do? Either way, that probably means that you have a counterpart during the day, which explains the marks on GhostPony and SanguinaryScientist, which is probably something to watch out for.

Quote: And could you clarify a bit why you're marking people? Well, I said yesterday that I would take suggestions from you guys on who to mark. I didn't get one, so I thought about it on my own. Fletchling was the sketchiest person yesterday, and he said he could heal marks off, so I marked him to give an opportunity for him to prove his claim. Quote: Given his ability to heal (daily?), maybe it would make sense if he receives double marks or something due to his 'frailty'. Maaaaaaaybe, though I have a feeling that isn't the case... I'd like to hear from him if it is so, though. Quote: You have the ability to make a mark during the night, DNA? Is it something that you have to do? It isn't mandatory, though it can be a potent weapon against anti-town threats if used wisely. I'd like to use it if possible, but I don't want to use it willy-nilly either - which is why I will take suggestions from the rest of you on who I should mark during the night. I might have a counterpart, true. Could explain a few things.

What I gather by the above comments: 1 Mark: "Eh, it's nothing." 2 Marks: "So what's going on?" 3 Marks: "HOLY **** **** HE'S DYING!"
Also, if James or Torchie do not post here by the end of D3, or PM by the same time, I will be forced to Mod-kill them.

Wait... That "shiv" thingy on the immunity stuff for jsxtm, it's me who had it. o_O I was waiting for a hint to pass it to someone. I don't know if this could have saved him tho. :/
Also, I can give a mark at night too, but I never used it yet.

I'm still reading this stuff and trying to figure out how it all works. Since I'm kind of useless here, I'm just going to say that if Fletch hasn't been given the birdseed yet - though I think it was given - they probably should get it. Stat. It was probably a good idea I was given what role I was, despite the fact that I like my music.
Anyways. Hmmm. Continue chatting so I can keep trying to figure out how this thing works. Dang, this only reinforces the idea that I am dumb.

So, uh... I'm not sure if I still have the booze or not. I didn't really wanna pass it off to anyone cause it only really screws over whoever I pass it to, so I was just going to let fate decide by allowing myself to simply drop the item. But, as with the birdseed, I was never notified whether or not my item was dropped. So... For the time being, I'm going to withhold my vote in fear of being forced to vote for someone random.
As for last night... I don't think I need to repeat how bad losing a role that big is. JxTsm stuck his neck out on a hunch he had, and it ultimately only resulted in a stalemate that got him killed. This could be the most obvious framing attempt by the wolves ever, or maybe DNA really is scum, and is hoping we would think that the wolves were trying to frame him. Or maybe it's none of the above. I can't think under fear of death by wolf-zombie-alien-creature-things.
As of right now, the only thing I really have to offer is that we need to lynch SOMEBODY today. We literally gave team scum two free kills because we no-lynched then stalemated. Yes, day one can be justified because we had no information or leads of any kind, and I guess we could say the same sort of thing for day two, but we can't do it day three. If neither James nor Torchie respond by the end of day three, and neither of them are wolves, the scum will already be one fourth of the population. We're either going to need to have some really good guesses or some really good detective work if we want to pull ourselves out of this hole we've already managed to dig into.

^ I only heal marks when I receive the Birdseed, and I fear that the pass was not successful. If I /have/ got the birdseed, I'm lucky to be alive and someone can place a hell of a lot of Marks in one go. @Wailord_2: Speak. That's a simple request. (He's done that before in other games I've played so o3o)

To clear things up, all the characters described in JsXtm's role are from the game The Last of Us. Joel and Ellie are the two main characters, and the Clicker and the Bloater are two of the types of Cordyceps, the game's version of zombies. The Clicker and Bloater are likely both members of the main scum faction, or are part of a smaller scum team consisting of (probably) only the two of them. And since I know how much Haunted Water likes his TLoU, he's probably added another role from that game, possibly another human survivor, but if that's the case, they're probably some sort of indie. I hope that clears that up.
Also, I can't help but find Fletchling's role especially suspicious. There's a bit of an inside joke involving Fletch and his need for birdseed already, and the fact that he just so happened to receive that role, and there's just so happens to be that kind of role in the game would normally tip me off. What makes me believe that he's at least partially telling the truth is that the Birdseed is confirmed to be an actual item. Which means that HW designed a role specifically for one player, which kiiiiiind of leans into bastard modding, to be honest.
CuteKirlia, would you like to explain what that ability that you just activated did? We both know what I'm talking about. Now spill. I'd like to hear what you have to say.
