A topic that I simply thought of when reading the 'funniest moments' thread. What have been your greatest moments in life so far? I

So far all i can think of is when my first car was going to be a money pit for me and i decided to enter contest for the 'fun' of it. Was going to try MTV's Pimp My Ride but i didnt match one of there requirements which was that i had to live in South California. Then at the very moment of reading that on there website I heard a radio ad for a contest called "hook up my hooptie" sponser by Dj Skribble to celebrate the opening of his car shop, about 2 months later I get a call saying that i was one of 5 finalist by this time i allready have my new (to me) car and was planning on junking my first car. Then about an hour after that call i get the call that I won.
There allmost done with the car should have it in about a month, when i get it back i will sure put up pictures.

My greatest moment was probably when I (along with my friend) won 2nd place in the Haifa Film Festival for my second short film. This was last year, and our greatest achivement (so far). The prize many wasn't a very large sum, but I'm just proud of winning the prize, not proud of the prize itself (although it was fun to win something )

I guess I would say...
Being the New Zealand 2002 Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal champion
I was the only one unbeaten in the entire tournament. It was first a round robin to establish rankings, then elimination to decide a winner. My team of Snorlax, Zapdos, Scizor, Suciune, Blissey and Marowak obliterated many teams, who had to resort to using oobers like Lugia and Ho-oh.

Seeing a band you adore for the first time is a thrill like no other. Especially the moment when they appear on stage - that is immortal.
Alice Cooper rising up into view on a hydrolic platform in London was quality, as was seeing The Damned for the first time.
I'm seeing the Undertones for the first time next week and I have the Rolling Stones and Deep Purple planned next year.
I can't think of anything quite so special.

My greatest moment was when a handsome prince charming with shiny armor and a fluttering red cape showed up at my front door on his grand white steed, confiding to me on bended knee his undying love and his wish to run away together to his castle in an enchanted forest. But it was the wrong address, so I pointed him in the right direction.
...Just kidding. My greatest moment would have to be when I got the call that I was accepted at the Art Institute. Or maybe the time I won the Neopets storytelling contest. I stubbed my toe when I found out 'cause I thought my story wasn't very good.

Ha. That's hillarious. You play neopets? The only contest I went into was the poetry contest...and I forgot the most important thing. To put my username with the poem before I sent it. -_-; I might have won...but I'll never know.

Yep. You can read it here. There's a lot of typos though. I'm trinity_overload.

Yes, yes - very good times.
One of the things I'm working on is to actually be in a band. I would hope if we got big, that people would be saying things about us like that.

SG, the tiny font gets really annoying, pretty pretty please with a cherry on top make it regular? My greatest moment would be when I kicked a sharking ubers ass in RBY. His team was Mewtwo Mewtwo Mewtwo Mewtwo Mewtwo Caterpie, and I'm serious about the caterpie. it was just caught and at lvl 6. no sharked stats either. Of course the mewtwos were all lvl 100 with perfect stats, the last one was lvl 101. how'd I beat it? status ailments, thats all I remember, nothing specific. My second greatest moment? When I bought these rip-proof pants, they're great an- oh crap I ripped my pants. My 3rd greates moment would have to be when accidentally overdosed with gamma radiation and radicly altered my DNA, now when david ban- errr, I, get angry or outraged, a startling metamorphasis occurs, yeah, that time pwned.

Greatest moment here, these words really touched me and got me thinking. Here at this forum I and many others are respected (I hope) by others around the world. Think about it, the politicians around the world would rather slap others from the other side. Yet a huge group of teens (and others) here show respect to each other. That feeling, knowing people form Singapore, Israel, New Zealand and much more, respect you is awesome. Thanks sNOwBaLL, your words meant a lot to me, I feel great now in this moment.

My greatest moment....well....
I was about 10 years old, and it was the spring of '01, and my mom was at her old job at Gateway Honda. Anyway, all of her co-workers were having a contest. The contest was to see who could predict how far each team was going to go in the Final Four Tourney (College Basketball). So my mom decieded to enter, even though she had no clue who was hot and who was not, so she gave the paper of the brackets to my dad, who also had no clue. Eventually my father gave the packet to me. Now I had little clue as well, so I just filled out who I thought was good or not.
I won. Me being a 10 year old, beat a whole bunch of adults in a compotition based on a game I was never familar with. I won $80 in prise money, which was 5 bucks from each contestant, so I beat 13 other people.
The next day I was playing Super Smash Bros. on my N64.

My school did something like that last year to, except there was no prize money. Using my psychic skills I predicted the winners and losers in '05 NCAA Basketbll bracket. Being the psychic that I am, I won the competition. I was #1 out of 250 kids.
(Dragonfan is not psychic)

There was something about high school graduation...it almost felt unreal.
But one of my greatest moments was when I saw my first concert, A Perfect Circle, from the floor (the front no less). Seeing the band come out on stage (and even the opening act which caught me completely off guard, a band which I am also a loyal fan of now.) That experience was incredible.
I also have a few more personal moments that would fit but that I don't wish to share.

I don't really remember any specific moment in my life as being extra-great, because i enjoy so much of my life. Of course, something that may seem kind of pointless to others meant a whole lot to me -
I draw cartoon characters of all my friends, and recently i have been making avators for them for MSN. I made one for one of my "Characters" called the Confused Neutral, and i sent it to him one night when i was talking to him on MSN. I really didn't expect him to use it - but he did. I was so incredibly touched and flattered.
