In Emerald, you also can't catch Zangoose, Roselia, and Meditite.
~
Altering Cave is basically the same as FR/LG Altering Cave. It supposedly activates when you use Mystery Event the right way. (Nintendo Tours, that stuff; (Not entirely sure)) Anyway, the pokemon found there are now available in the Safari Zone after the E4.
~
The Magma Armor and Flame Body abilities, I believe do not stack. If they did/could, it'd take 40 steps to hatch a Magikarp egg. Feel free to try though, as I'm too lazy to walk 40 steps.

Training grounds? Where's that? are found in the small, back cave of Meteor Falls. It is only accessable by using Waterfall. Check the pokedex next time you have a question like that.

Do you know the room you can take Tm 02 Dragon Claw. You find in that cave ,you can find Bagon. It quite easy because Bagon is common.

The back portion of Meteor Falls is actually also known as the Dragon Training Grounds, or something like that.

A question.
Are there any moves that if you learn them you can't learn another move?
Arrg, hard to say what I mean, is there any moves that if learned prevent you from learning another move that comes along later, like a move that 'evolves' if you don't learn the first move you can't learn the next.
I have re-started Emerald for the forth or so time and I dun want to mess any of my pokemon up, even tho I am still having fun trying to find good movesets since most of the ones posted are all for evolved pokemon and I still have un-evolved ones.
I hope that explains what I mean, I know what I mean I just can't seem to write it down right.

I don't believe that there are any. HM moves need the Move Deletor to be forgotten to make room for new moves, but other than that, I don't believe that there are any moves that will prevent you from learning other moves.

Also, you can wait until a pokemon has learned a move, then evolve it, and go to the MoveTutor to learn a move the evolution could have learned at an earlier level.

Hello!
I need help! I need to know how can I get the to all of the islands w/o attending a Nintendo Event. (The different tickets, Old Sea Map, and that sort of stuff) I'm not gonna go to one,(Nintendo Event) and I heard there's a cheat to be able to do this go to the islands. Can someone tell me the cheats?
I read through this whole thread and The Supreme Cresan said
'How do you download a GBA game?'
I would love to know that. I just ordered it and I can't wait for it to get here.
And... I didn't know that Bagon appeared in Emerald... I guess you learn something new everyday!
****EDIT- I read somewhere that Emerald is compatible with GameCube and GameBoy/GameCube link cable (I think that's what it said) I have both the link cable and the GameCube, so how to I use it all together?

Ok so like.. I think i've looked everywhere i possibly could to try and find an answer to this but still have had no success...
Is it or is it not possible to swap secret base(s) with people using Emerald like in R/S
If so, could someone kindly explain?
And more so, is it possible to swap bases between R/S and Emerald?
Cuz the trade center in emerald is nothing like r/s an doesnt have anything but Battle and Trade...

In the far end of the 2nd floor of the pokemon center in R/S go to the Record Center (requires 2-4 players + link cable) and have you an your friend(s) go to any of the 4 computers. it'll swap data between your games putting your secret base into your friend's game(s) and visa versa...
NOTE: you still have access to your own secret base in your game and you can change it at any time. to change it in your friend's game(s) after changing it in you'r own simply link up again.
Another thing tho is that it will also change the words for what's cool in Dewford... so if u'r one of the people who have found (it took me a week..... twice....) then think about catching a few more before you go to the record center

Oh.....Well, then I guess i won't be swapping bases anytime soon! ^_^ Oh well. I don't need to anyway. Thank you, though!

I think you need a GameShark device. There are others devices to use, but that's the most popular. Hope I helped!

I just left a level 7 nincada at the daycare couple. Thing is, it had pokerus and a macho brace equipped. When it levels up, will it get the stat increase bonuses, or do I have to level it up by battling?
