So that's what this thread is about. Not Gorgonzola cheese, but first impressions and how they have changed.

For myself I originally did not like sN0wBaLL the Moderator at all, in fact, I feared him - now he's my good friend and I'm always pleased to see sN0wY online

Several Pokemon I didn't used to like are now my favorites! For example, Pidgey - oh its so cute!

So now, its your turn. What misleading first impressions have you had, and how have they changed?

I had always resisted liking Radiohead for years. Creep just put me off. (although I've heard it acoustically and it's quite alright).
Then I listened to OK Computer, and thought it was alright. So now I'm impartial. That still counts, I think.

I used to hate goat meat until I tried it; then I changed my mind ;p

Oh and speaking of moderators, there was one super mod I didn't like when I first came here. Now I think he is kind of cool. ;[

I used to like System of a Down, but now, they sound very whiny. I mean, it's like "Yes, you don't like war, how about you do some purely instrumental songs?" or Linkin Park. I used to like their instrumentals, then I listened to the lyrics and thought to myself "Wow, this is angsty and corporate."

I used to hate all salad, but now I like it, provided it's a good salad.

I used to hate some heavier rock, or "metal". But Flaming_Wuzzle and Rammstein changed that!

I used to thing furries were weird...and still do just not as much tho.

I used to really think that sNoWY is a useless mod.....

I always though people on this site were intimidating, right about till about... 9 months ago.

When I was starting off at Psypoke, I was intimidated by this pack of angry moderators and administrators chasing after me, like I was a chew toy. When I got used to the forums, I felt a lot better

Pokemon wise, I thought Absol was a piece of trout just waiting to be kicked in the Wazoo. Now I realise that Jesus it's an amazing Sweeper.

1)I thought that CF must've spammed ALOT to get that high of a post count so quick, but now I realize that is mostly wrong.
2)I used to be paranoid, thinking anyone you didn't know IRL was a forty year old rapist(Parents caused that one), but now I know it is ok to be casious(spelled wrong I bet), but that not everyone is out to get you.

I used to like alot of bands which I now hate or dislike (Adema, Green Day, Fuel, Linkin Park), and I stopped liking Incubus but now I like them again.

Also, I used to dislike kethcup but now I love it. The same applies to many foods.

They're not serious (Well Chanelle isn't), but every time I mention Amphy or Swift or anyone from Psypoke, Samuel goes "Ah, you do realize that they are probably a 40yr old rapist sitting at their computer going 'Oah, this 15yr old girl thinks I'm 20!" Stupid Samuel. Needless to say, I do not share that opinion.

I used to think F_W was too strict, now I think he's funny and 1337.
I used to think I was good at Pokemon many years ago, but now I know stuff like Thunderpunch-Thunderbolt-Thunder-Thundershock are bad movesets.

But to be Topical...I avoided Gundam like the plague simply because Wing gave me a horrible first impression. Still don't like Wing but pretty much everything else is at least above-average.

Well, I used to love talking to everyone in the whole world I met, but after 6th grade, my thoughts about people changed. I realized that everyone around me thought and told me that I sucked/was gay (which I'm not), so I decided to just go to school and avoid people as much as possible.

Now, I've kinda regained some of my trust and socialability with my peers, but I'll never really be as open as I was in 4th grade. Even in choir class, I can't express my full voice because my mind is still thinking that someone will criticize me and put me down, even when it's unlikely to happen.

In general, I just don't like people anymore. People don't like me, so I don't like them. Seems equal to me.

(A reason why I sometimes disappear for a couple of weeks from Psypoke because I don't want to get close to anyone.)

Well I DID think someone WAS my friend(I wont say who or my post'll get deleted) and they turned out to be my worst enemy
