Go all the way down to the bottom where there is a Blackbelt and a boulder. Use Strength and push the boulder out of the way. Go dwon to the icy floor. (Snorunt lair) Look around until you find a Snorunt.

I believe I asked this before, but it's still bugging me a little:

1 - HP's power is based on your attack stat (apart from DV's), no matter the HP's type, right? Also, only normal types get STAB from HP, also regardless of type. Am I right?

2 - Concerning Substitute. Can it be broken the same turn it is created? (as in, you sub, opp. uses a super-effective move). Also, what is your sub's HP equal to? 1/4 of the pokemon's total, spent to create the sub?

3 - Is lax incense considered a hax item, or is it's effect permanent (i.e., not based on chance)?

4 - When you increase a given stat continually, it reaches a point when "it won't go any higher". What value has been reached? Is there a way to determine the highest possible value?
Meaning, you speed boost insanely until you can't increase speed any more. Does that mean ninjask reached it's maximum speed level (419 I believe) or that, for it's current level, it reached a specific value that can't be surpassed unless you level up?

Yeah, kinda confusing... sorry 'bout that...

Yes, your sub can be killed the first time, because its happened to me. And the HP is 1/4 taken from the total

3 - Is lax incense considered a hax item, or is it's effect permanent?
I don't think its permanent

4 - When you increase a given stat continually, it reaches a point when "it won't go any higher". What value has been reached? Is there a way to determine the highest possible value?

[b]dont' know

I hope no one has asked this question before.

Anyways, I have Emerald, Ruby, LeafGreen and I've completed (as far as the Elite 4 goes) Emerald and Ruby.

How do I trade pokemon between ruby and Emerald?

I've tried this and in the Emerald there is always a 'join group' or 'become leader' thing while ruby doesn't have this.

I've been searching everywhere and there is no help on trading about this (maybe I'm not searching hard enough though).

Can someone please help with this? I really want Quilava but being in Canada I can't go to a Nintendo event nor do I have a working game shark.

Thanks for reading.

P.S This forum is really cool.

I think that you're trying to Wireless trade between the two... of which Ruby doesn't know how. Ruby can only trade via Link Cable, and Emerald has to be on the Link Cable to trade with Ruby anyway. You don't need a GameShark or Nintendo Event to do that.

1. How much accuracy does Brightpowder lower?

2. If you have a Pokemon with Serene Grace do item chances/effects double? (i.e. Scope Lens, Brightpower, Focus Band, ect.)

3. How much of a greater chance do you get when you have Scope Lens?

Thank you in advance! :D

Brightpowder lowers Evasiveness by one stage. That's something like 8% at first. This page might help for some more info: http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~psypoke/lab/stats.php

Serene Grace doubles both the Item and Attack effects.

I'm not really sure about Scope Lens though.

I'll ask the questions I made before that water~phantom didnt' answer (thnx for the ones you did, btw!):

1 - HP's power is based on your attack stat, not sp atk (apart from DV's), no matter the HP's type, right? Also, only normal types get STAB from HP, also regardless of type. Am I right?

2 - When you increase a given stat continually, it reaches a point when "it won't go any higher". What value has been reached? Is there a way to determine the highest possible value?

Number 2 is kinda confusing, sorry.

I apologize if this question has been asked, however I'm in quite a hurry, so I don't really have enough time to read over the past 13 pages to see if my inquiry has been given a response. :?

Concerning Volt Tackle, please tell me if I'm following the correct steps:

1. In my Emerald Cartridge, after 2 hours, $2,000 and catching 9 Pikachus, only one of them was holding a Light Ball (and as already anticipated, it was a male Pikachu who held it, and it took 8 Safari Balls to catch it - sort of goes with the theory that the most rewarding pok

I do know that HP's power is based on your Attack, which makes it quite handy for pokemon such as {breloom}, {absol}, {heracross}, and other such pokemon with extremely high Attack. I do not know about the STAB bit however.

2 - When you increase a given stat continually, it reaches a point when "it won't go any higher". What value has been reached? Is there a way to determine the highest possible value?

I believe that it will change as you level up. It has reached the highest speed for the level and DVs.

Number 2 is kinda confusing, sorry.

Just because you're in a hurry doesn't give you an excuse to post a question about something that's talked about on the main site. Please look there first.

EDIT: For future reference, put a {nincada} first in your party when hunting for light balls. Its ability (CompoundEyes) raises the possibility of finding an item on a pokemon, and it doesn't matter what level it is in the Safari Zone.

Sorry about that. :( The reason I asked that question was since I think my Emerald GBA Cartridge is a special one! Why? Last night, I put those two Pikachus in the Day Care, I walked east to Mauville, then back to the Day Care and guess what? They had already produced an egg! That's the fastest time ever - it took less than a minute! :D I'm so happy, I'm keeping an extra Pichu with 'Volt Tackle' for trading, and I'm also keeping the original parents! :D

It takes two generations of the berry to lose it. The berry you planted will grow, flower, berry, then sprout again, flower, and berry. Once that second berry phase is done, the berry is gone forever. Different berries take different times to grow. Generally speaking, the rarer the berry, the longer it takes to grow.
