Ahoy! Registeel_Rocks here, and I'm as curious as a raccoon. For almost no reason at all, I want to know what peoples' marital statuses are (whether you're dating or not, etc.). Just vote in the poll, and that's about it. 8)

I chose the 1st option, but might migrate to the 2nd option..maybe, I'm not quite at the "OMG HAWT CHICKS GALORE" stage yet.

I added an option that's a bit more fitting for myself. I'm single, and looking in vain. In my environment, geeks just aren't the kinda guys the girls go for.

Now I understand why everybody in the chats say we could be brothers. I'm a nerd, my type doesn't date, ever. Even if I tried, I would fail miserably. :roll:

I'm single and not really looking for a girlfriend. I'm not exactly the active type when it comes to that. I sit back and wait for things to happen on their own.

Believe it or not, I didn't vote at all - and when I first came in here the option 'Amphy' wasn't an option. I've voted 'Amphy' now though Although how that has any relevance to this topic is beyond me

I saw the second option without reading properly, and hit submit. Well, I am single, but it's not like I'm desperate to find a date or something. I just sit back and let things happen on their own

A couple of months ago I would have chosen the third option though. Don't ask.

I'm single....... and not looking for dates, I mostly sit around with my mates, have a laugh, play video games and hope I never get a GF, now I bet you're wondering...... is he gay?!, no I'm not I just think that mates come before dates, because there are only two things I'm scared of in this world, 1. the threat of Nuclear War..... and 2. the fourth law of the universe, which is: once you get a Girlfriend the first thing they do is go about systematically getting rid of all your mates.

You can't be serious. First of all, my girlfriend is not like that. If your girlfriend is causing problems between you and your friends, then break up with her. A good girlfriend will not care who you hang out with (as long as they aren't screwing up your life). If you mean that you would rather stay home with guy friends and play video games than go out with a girl to the movies, then you just aren't ready for a girlfriend.

What the....... oh no you did not just......... look Swift I am plenty ready, its just that you do not know what its like in Britain, thats what girls do over here, I'm not saying every girl on the planet does but thats the experience I've had. Over here they're suffocating, they want you to spend every minute of everyday together, they call you non-stop, and you can ask Kryten about this cuz he's been there, and before you say, I've tried before to sit down and tell them I need time to myself but they go hysterical, they grab the nearest thing to them and throw it at your head, and no I'm NOT kidding, plus IF you're lucky all you'll have is scratch marks down the side of your face.

I have a sad story concerning a girlfriend. Mind you, she's not mine, but she's of a good friend of mine. You see, while I do consider myself as having lots of friends, we sort of have this core group of 6 REALLY good friends and when there's nothing more interesting to do, we all get together on boring Friday nights. Anyways, one of our group got a girlfriend. They've been dating for 8 months. We call her "Yoko" because, like how Yoko Ono caused the Beatles to break up, she caused our core group to lose one of its members. Yup, everytime someone gets near this guy, she gives him this stern look of anger. If it's a girl who just wants to give him a hug and hasn't seen him for months, because he's always out with his GF instead of hanging out with us, his GF goes mental. Not to mention that she gives him those looks when I give him a hug after not seeing him for months... She's a crazy girl, and I don't envy my friend. But, he obviously loves her, or else he'd have broken up with her ages ago, so I'm no one to critisize him.
I myself had one last year, it was pretty serious, and after a short depression era, we re-tied our knots, and now she's practically my best friend. She didn't come before my friends, though, because she was one of my friends before we got together, and now, remains one after we split. I chose "single and not looking", because after my experience I've decided to take a more passive approach to this whole thing, and wait for the other side to initiate the process. I'm perfectly fine without one, in fact, it's much better this way. Aside from that, lots (maybe even most) of my friend friends are girls anyhow, so it's not like I only hang out with my guy friends when I don't have a GF.

Well then, I'm not sure. That's how it is in America; I'm not really sure how it goes in Britain. If that's how it is there...

Have been for a while, but I'm not sure how long it'll be lasting. I made the terrible mistake of falling for a girl in the same class as myself... not good. Those seldom last long.

But really, don't wait for it, it comes naturally. And yeah, it's a great way to lose your allowance quickly...

Well....it seems that either TK himself or another admin/mod added that to make this humorous... lol....too bad being TK doesn't result in much...or does it? Perhaps being TK means you attract alot of girls?

Well, I'm single, and currently not looking for dates because all I can think of right now is not failing my examinations, and it's driving me mad. However, it would be very nice if a nice and handsome man just suddenly fell on my lap (and I trully hope that relationship will last for a very long time). Feeling lonely is just way too bad.

but any way i have had about 6 girlfriends (im 14) and i dident start school till 3rd grade(homeschooled). some of them have been good relationship others not so good but i have never had a girl try to pry me from my friends. if any thing they just wanted me to hang out with them more oten than usual

ive had some interesting things happen to me i relationships once i had a 2 day relation ship when we relized we'd be better friends than BF/GF

ive also had a girl threaten suicide after breaking up with her that worked out and now we're good friends
