Hi all, I'm building up a team for competitive double battles and was hoping to get some constructive points on my team structure.

Ps, I know I spam eeveelutions, I'm just DETERMINED to find a way to make them work >__<

1)Vaporeon (modest) (max spdf + hp)
dive/brine
Acid Armor/aqua ring
substitute
baton pass

3)Jolteon (spatk, spd) (focusband)
Thunder
Shadow Ball
Protect
Rain dance

2)Pikachu/raichu (hardy) (may replace with lanturn)
Surf (from battle revolution)
Discharge
swagger/flash/light screen
rain dance

4)Espeon (modest) Maxed spatk and spd ev's
HP Bug/shadow ball/sunny day
Morning light
Psychic
psych up

5)Houndoom (Max'd atk, 1/2 spatk, 1/2 speed)
Heatwave
nasty plot
Sunny Day/punishment/dark pulse
Solarbeam

Ok, the way that the team is *in theory* meant to work is to start with jolteon and vaporeon, vaporeon being my pseudo tank who begins setting up acid armor/aqua ring and a substitute whilst jolteon helps with rain dance then takes over the battling. If/when the hp on either wanes, the raichu is switched in making use of either volt absorb and discharge or water absorb and surf. (this works particularly well if vaporeon is in the middle of a dive).

Vaporeon's stat boosts and substitue are conveyed to my lower-hp sweepers like espeon or houndoom.

Ok, ok, i know they're all high special attack >_<
Does anyone have any good suggestions for physical or mixed pokes with similar stat flexibility? I'm thinking of scrapping Jolteon in favor of a physical tank who can set up for my phys sweepers like vap is for my specials. I'm just not sure what too choose
possible members i already have trained are a scizor, tyrannitar, gyarados, blaziken. I'm very fond of my tyrannitar <3 , but the sandstream ability is proving problematic for vaporeon/raichu/jolteon combinations and I rely heavily on weather changes.
I also have a cherrim who might fit in nicely next to espeon and houndoom.....

Ok, that was long. If you made it through and still have brain capacity for a half assed answer, I'd apreciate it A LOT

1.Giving a Houndoom Acid Armor when nearly all of it's weaknesses are usually Special attacks, Is not a good
idea.

2.Now It's even MORE weak to water attacks, cause of Rain Dance.

3. Why does your Houndoom need Maxed Att? It doesnt have any Physical Attacks o_o

Maybe if you wanted to try a good baton passer, try Ninjask.
Speed boost + Sword dance + Baton pass is MUCH better then Aqua Ring + Acid armor.
Also, pass it to a physical sweeper, like your Tyranitar, or a physical sweeper who could take
advantage of your Rain dance, like Feraligator or Gyrados.

Also, if you wanted a tank, try Umbreon + wish/moonlight or Milotic + Aqua ring/Recover + Mirror coat.

Also, cherrim shouldnt even be CONSIDERED being a special sweeper. Once it sets up Sunny Day, your just
asking to be blasted with a flamethrower or blaze kick. *Shivers*

Pretty much the whole concept of using evees sucks ._. No offense, but I dont see them as a good choice
for competive battling. OH, and if you wanted to see if your moveset works, try NetBattle.
The link is somewhere in the forums ;P

Eeveelutions are a great assett to competative battling...Each have 130 base stat and a 110 base stat somewhere and the majority of them are great Baton Passers...Each with a very unique ability that distinhuishes better than many other pokemon...
